I want to download and use a flycam program and was wondering which one you all use.

I don't use a program, just have to enable the commands that are part of the unreal engine. Try this

Wow, I ran into a great bug last night. I replayed the Turian Platoon mission with EDI and James to get more dialogue, and I took down the first 2 Harvesters right away this time. Then banter suddenly completely stopped, and when I arrived at Victus' destination, there was... nothing. No enemies, no Victus, no cutscene started when I approached the destination. Did anybody ever experience this bug? Reloading the last checkpoint didn't help btw, totally weird, haha.
I also replayed with Liara in the squad, then it was fine again.
edit: Ah, checked the wiki, it seems a common bug, hooray ![]()
Revka witnessed the strangest viva on Tuchanka where the professor react aggressively because his student failed his ethics.
Then she went to Citadel and watched Garrus doing his dark knight moves.
Then she helped an assassin deal with his son..
After sorting out another family issue with one of her lieutenant, Revka went to Ilium to help her XO with her own family problems.
and then she drop by Omega only to become a bait for a serial killer asari...
Before she go to Pragia... she want to know why the Asari dancer prefer this...
over this....

The important thing.
I'm surprised by how well balanced Shep has been so far. Her para/ren scores are good and only about 10 points apart.
She's been practical most of the time. Not wasting too much time talking with anyone and remained focused on the job. Shepard is also mostly supportive when needed, but doesn't flinch from slamming her fist in the table if necessary. Perhaps she learned some things after the suicide mission nearly went to hell.

so this is Thessia. I should leave and wait for the fighting to be gone so I can take pictures
Is the vi a Prothean? Too bad I can't get its autograph. Wow

sword guy takes the vi . They do make a cute couple
to calm my nerves, I did a side mission. don't you love it when you hear TAKING CASUALTIES
Cerberus turning people into husks. that's not cool.
Well look here. Its Henry "scumbag" Lawson. He's the saviour of humanity. Sorry clown, I'm the saviour. Out the window you go
Miranda is dead. So if I die later I will have no one to bring me back. I better make sure I don't die. Yeah. That makes sense
I have just finished a full runthrough the trilogy for the first time. I choose some different paths and struggled here and there but this will be my canon Shep. I have so much things on my mind but I can't find the words to write them down so I will keep it simple; it was awesome.
Will do another run before Andromeda arrives, possibly with femShep, I have only two femSheps compared to 10 broSheps. I would go with Garrus as LI, I see he is extremely popular one.
Today James, Liara and I helped Lieutenant Tarquin Victus with the Cerberus bomb. The thing is though, in the shuttle en route we learned that this is only a bomb dug up by Cerberus, but hidden there by turians centuries ago. I get wanting to keep the krogan in check, but now we'd be in serious trouble if this thing goes off.
We landed and fought our way through some Cerberus troops until we got to see the bomb. It is huge. We soon reached Victus and he told me the bomb has some kind of firewall, but he knows what to do. I assured him we'd have his back while he disables the bomb, and we moved out to defend the Lieutenant. After some more fighting, Cerberus was finally pretty much taken care of, and Victus had success with the firewall. But Cerberus had hacked the trigger mechanism and only one minute was left until the bomb detonated! Victus stated there was no time to disarm it and he climbed onto the bomb to separate the trigger from the bomb itself.
In the end he sacrificed himself to stop the bomb and to ensure the fragile turian-krogan alliance can continue. Brave. He earned my respect for that.
Back on the shuttle James looked thoughtful, saying that one can spend the whole life to make up for mistakes, and that Tarquin Victus at least went out in a blaze of glory. I asked if this is actually still about Victus, but James assured me I need not worry, he's not going anywhere. I am glad to hear that, but he is troubled, I can see that much, and I feel for him. I've been there too many times. But no time to think about this now.
This war is going to cost a lot more in order to win it, that much is clear. Liara is also taken aback by Victus' sacrifice. It's a strange and harsh time for everyone, a constant reminder how fast things could be over, and how much needs to be sacrificed in order to make it actually work.
Back on the Normandy, Hackett ordered me to keep the peace at all cost. I'm doing what I can and tried to reason with both Victus and Wreav. We need this alliance to fight the bigger threat here, and fortunately both agree.
I'm still mad about the secrecy though, maybe this whole thing could've gone down differently. I reminded Primarch Victus that it has cost his son's life in order to fix this whole mess. His death was honorable and I hope it meant something in the end.
Wreav is still distrustful, but that's no surprise. I just hope he keeps it together, shouldn't be too long now before we spread the cure.
After all that hassle I checked in on the crew and then retreated to my cabin to call up Liara. She showed me what she had prepared - some time capsules she wants to spread over various planets for the future. She put lots of information in it, about the Reapers, the Crucible plans, about me... She wanted my opinion, and I just told her to be honest. I made mistakes in the past, but I am what I am.
Liara also said she was sorry she left me back on Illium to pursue her own goals, and that I am a friend to her. I feel the same. She really grew on me since that day we met. She was weird, always being fascinated by the strangest things, but in the end, she was the one who never gave up on me, even when I was dead. For that I am grateful, and I know she has my back.
On Noveria about to head out and cap Benezia-sama but before that, told Anoleis about his secretary and they both killed each other.

his name is Javik.
just defeated the reapers. did the synthesis thing. everyone survived as always
had Kaiden as my romance, he didn't seem to like that Shepard died. going back to ME1. starting an infiltrator name Amelia Shepard. bonus ability (throw) (as usual following the paragon line). unfortunately from experience i can get to lvl 59 on a single play through so ill have to do it twice before i move onto ME2. Basic plan is to romance Kaiden (then let him die) feel all miserable about it then romance Garrus. hopefully ill get all the model ships for my coin for ME 2/3.
Wish me luck. ![]()

Sigh I miss that game, remember when you could actually explore planets?
I have more fond memory climbing over mountains with Mako.... but it wasn't as awesome like climbing over mountains with my Skyrim horses....
I just swear that most complaints about the Mako come from people who try to drive everywhere in a straight line, then spend time wondering why they can't get up that sheer cliff, rather than using the map to plot a easier route. It takes less time to go the long way around than struggling through those craters.
What I've done today is start playing the first Mass Effect, on the Xbox One. I'm genuinely amazed that Microsoft have managed to emulate the 360 on the One.

Why not use the map and plot a route around them?
Because there is always one or two minerals/items stuck in the middle of nowhere that requires dropping off a cliff then trying to climb out of grand crater. Nodacrux probably has one of the worst ones.
If it was just trying to get from your landing point to the main objective, travelling with the Mako is fun. If you are trying to grab everything on the map, you have to climb all over terrible terrain sometimes.
I am one of the people who actually like the Mako. What I do not like:
1. The sometimes too-rough terrain, which is actually kind of accurate in what you would probably encounter in some alien uncharted world.
2. The XP loss for killing in the Mako. Seriously, the developers gave us a freaking tank, then punish us for using it. Ugh.
3. No way to mod the Mako, or have the Mako use our weapon mods. This is mostly a complaint about how you can equip a Combat Scanner on your weapon so the Geth cannot scramble your radar on foot, but you cannot do the same with the Mako. Again, we get a tank but are punished for using it.
I think the Mako controls just fine on the Xbox 360, but apparently the PC controls are crap.
Ugh, I think I didn't post here for two weeks or something... at least I could resist the urge to play any ME in that time, so I'm up to date now, yay. ='D
Anyways, back to Reyes Shepard and way to long posts about the stuff she does!
When Reyes went searching for Thane’s son, the first thing she did was to talk to Bailey who directed her to a former vent rat called “mouse”, who had been seen talking to Kolyat and was apparently known for the Shepard VI he used to sell. Garrus apparently found that really funny. It turned out that mouse was one of Thanes former contacts on the Citadel and Thane was a father figure to him, so Reyes held back, let him do most of the talking and didn’t get as aggressive as she could’ve. In the end they found out that Kolyat had been hired by a man named Elias Kelham and Reyes managed to get a copy of Mouse’s infamous Shepard VI before heading back to C-Sec. She’s usually not the most self-ironic or humorous person, but if someone made the effort of creating a VI with your personality, you can at least take a look at it first and sue the guy later if necessary. Or have some fun with it, in case it actually has something worthwhile to say.
What wasn’t as fun was the revelation that Bailey apparently had an agreement with Kelham that Shepard didn’t much approve of, but at least it didn’t keep him from providing further help. He got Kelham into the interrogation room and Reyes told Thane to be the good cop while she would put the guy under pressure. Turned out that wasn’t even necessary, Reyes mentioned she was a spectre and Kelham gave them all the info they wanted without asking further questions. Kolyat was going to assassinate a turian politician, so Shepard and Thane hurried to the 800 Blocks in order to prevent his death and get ahold of Kolyat. They followed him for a bit until Kolyat attacked and then confronted him after he had taken the turian hostage. He and Thane had lots of things to discuss and after Shepard knocked the gun out of his hand, they could do so in police custody.
It seemed odd that Bailey would go through all that trouble Shepard and Thane had caused him without any ulterior motives, but apparently he simply had sympathy for Thane after failing as a father himself.
After that, Shepard Tali and Garrus decided to pay Fade a visit and Garrus teased Tali with their past elevator conversations. It was pretty funny, but Tali got a little angry so he kept silent for the rest of the way. After finding out about Fade’s location and taking the Citadel Transit there, Fade turned out to be everyone’s favorite corrupt C-Sec ******* Harkin. Surrounded by Blue Suns. The team chased him down nonetheless and Garrus beat the **** out of him in order to get the information he needed about Sidonis. Garrus didn’t want to admit it, but Harkin was right: Omega had changed him. Reyes still let him do his thing and didn’t interfere until they had left Harkin behind and were on their way to meet Sidonis. They had a short conversation and Reyes was sceptical about whether it was really the best solution to kill the guy, but Garrus didn’t budge. He told her to distract Sidonis and when she did and saw what had become of him, she decided to stop Garrus from making a mistake. She convinced him to give Sidonis another chance.
When they met up, Garrus said he didn’t want to talk about it now and Reyes chose to respect his request, so they headed back to the Normandy in silence.
(Everything from here on is just my unnecessarily lengthy headcanon.)
On their way to Bekenstein, Shepard decided to confront Garrus about what happened at the Citadel. He seemed upset about letting Sidonis walk away the last time they saw each other, so Reyes didn’t expect to hear a mere “thank you, Shepard, you helped me make the right decision." She found him in the usual place, working as always, and asked him if they could talk for a minute. He agreed, slightly reluctant maybe, but ready to speak his mind. When asked how he felt about Sidonis he admitted that he couldn’t shoot him after Shepard had talked to him. He saw that there was still some good left in Sidonis, although he hated him for what he had done. Garrus wanted to do what was right, not only for himself, but for his men, to do them justice by avenging them. He realized then that it wasn’t as easy separating black from white and that he didn’t know what to do with the grey inbetween. He asked Reyes why she didn’t want him to kill Sidonis and she repeated what she had already told him before: that it wasn’t like him to kill in cold blood like that. He wasn’t content with that answer however. Shepard was the one who had suggested to kill Dr. Heart and who had a reputation for being brutally pragmatic and cold if necessary. She sacrificed people for the mission before, innocent people who were less deserving of it than Sidonis. It was puzzling to him that she would go out of her way to make sure he wouldn’t do something that seemed to be right up her alley.
Reyes didn’t want to tell him at first, but Garrus had always been a loyal companion, maybe even a friend, and she felt like she owed him the truth in some way. She told him that she did it because she always regretted that no one had been there to stop her back on Torfan and that Garrus reminded her of how she was like back then. She had joined the alliance to get a grip on her life again after completely losing her way after Mondoir and in order to get a chance at preventing attacks like the one that turned her into an orphan – and exact justice on every criminal that would’ve done harm otherwise. She never got hold of the slavers who killed her family and couldn’t hope to ever do so, but the attempt at compensating for her loss by fighting back their whole disgusting kind made her as determined and relentless as she had to be in order to get into the N7 program and later earn her reputation as ruthless and cold elite soldier.
Torfan should’ve been her biggest success – the mission seemed near impossible and it was one of the hardest fights of her life. Not many people would have been able to do what she did and completely eliminate any resistance in the base, although her victory came at a price. She was hell-bent on success, she sacrificed her own people without blinking an eye and she was as merciless as ever towards her enemies. When she looked back on the massacre shortly thereafter however, she realized clearer than ever that it was not enough. Taking out those people and sacrificing all those good people – better than she ever was - in the process might have saved a few colonies, but it didn’t make her any better. It wasn’t enough to fill the void that her former life on Mindoir left when she lost it. In some way she always assumed that her work for the Alliance and all the killing would allow her to leave her family’s death behind, to say that she made up for what happened and could accept it one day, but that didn’t happen. She might have done good in the bigger picture, but her true reasons had only ever been her own anger and inability to cope with what had happened to her. Realizing that her revenge did neither help herself nor her dead relatives or the soldiers whose deaths she willingly caused in order to succeed numbed her for a while and it made her feel like she deserved to be called the Butcher of Torfan. The title would forever be a reminder of what her selfish anger had turned her into and eventhough she accepted that she would never be a good person and would continue to work for the alliance, she didn’t ever want to lose her grip of reality like that again. She learned a painful lesson that day and she didn’t want Garrus to make the same mistake and delude himself into thinking that revenge would make anything better, no matter for whom. Sidonis was no danger, he was already suffering a pain greater than death and killing him would’ve only made Garrus a lesser person. He would’ve regretted it in the end.
It was weird talking about those personal things to anyone. She hadn’t been close to many people over the past years and generally avoided talking about the Details of Torfan whenever she could. It had always been her own baggage to carry. Garrus appreciated her honesty and they probably both realized at that point how similar they were in some way. Two messed up people trying to somehow make the world a better place until they lost their way, made huge mistakes and then tormented themselves with their own failures until someone or something set them straight. Garrus may have changed during his time on Omega and become more hardened, but at heart he was still striving to do what was right and while Reyes might’ve been the same person as two years ago, Garrus probably hadn’t truly seen her for who she was before. He always seemed to look up to and to glorify her and her Spectre status when they were still hunting for Saren, but now that they were both grounded and saw each other’s flaws clearly, it felt relieving to know that there was someone who had gone through the same **** as you and who would follow you through hell and back if necessary. There was a deeper connection between the two of them than they had previously thought and opening up to him didn’t bother Reyes as much as she thought it would.
In the end, after all the great and meaningful things were said, they headed for the port observations deck and had some drinks together with Kasumi, chatting about more pleasant matters and Kasumi filling Shepard in on a few more details about the upcoming mission on Bekenstein, before they eventually returned to their quarters later that night.
(Everything from here on is just my unnecessarily lengthy headcanon.)
That was a great write-up and I totally could relate
I have written a bit of my Shep's past and her reasoning for Torfan already as well, and can't wait to bring it into the write-ups, even though this will still take a while until I hit the scene I plan to bring it in. Oooh, the scheming joy ![]()
Colonist/Ruthless is some powerful and devastating combination. My current run really changed my view on the selectable background. I was a fan of Earthborn/Sole Survivor before, but now Colonist and Ruthless all the way, haha.
