And can anyone think of why I found Quarian armor on Eden Prime? Must have one held hostage somewhere.
Ah, those were the days my friend we thought they'd never end. Random drops all over the place. Then two years later every manufacturer in the Galaxy went bonkers because of some supposed Geth technology

Kaidan did the thing: Finally I got Kaidan to do it even though I never romanced him. Kaidan has replaced Liara as Shep's biggest fanboy
I was surprised that Shep chose to control the Reapers. I guess she sees some value to be had even in the Reapers. Although she has been a very well balanced character. Always trying to do the right thing, and not afraid to smack things. Like Liara would have put it: "She knows when to be persuasive and when to apply pressure." Mistakes were made along the way, and some had to pay the price for it, but such is life.
Truly I expected the Goddess of RNG to pick the refusal ending. I was completely prepared for a possible refusal, so much that I made my own ending for it based on Shep's earlier encounter with Rebekah and Michael Petrovsky.
Final EMS 1939. Cortez died and everything else went smoothly.
Having every choice be random was a lot of fun. I had so much fun with this that I've been thinking about doing the same with the Dragon Age games. Maybe after I've finished my Lord Cousland's adventures.

Of course I forgot some things before the genophage cure again, so I did those first. I always forget Tuchanka triggers Citadel Coup and I can't get back to the Citadel. Luckily I checked it this time (last time I couldn't get back without loosing a few hours progress ). Today was the first time I didn't use the Atlas during Grissom Academy, to see how it is. Eh. I don't know, I probably hop in there next time again Also, I died during the second wave in the atrium. I hate the atrium part of Grissom Academy!
Tuchanka is uploading currently, but it's past 3am here and I need to get up in like 2 1/2 hrs. Yay for no sleep
Before getting ready to deal with the genophage cure, James, Liara and I helped out some civilians on Benning, who according to Hackett were being taken alive by Cerberus. Cerberus "officially" denied of course, but I know them. Something's up.
Afterwards we were en route to Grissom Academy.
James, Javik and I entered the academy and met Kahlee Sanders right away, who informed us about Cerberus trying to take away the students. So here, too? Something is definitely not right... We headed where the trouble was, Orion Hall, and saw the first student dragged away by Cerberus on the way. Sh*t, better hurry. We found a brother and his sister, and I told them to get back to Kahlee asap.
Inside the hall we witnessed a biotic student taking care of Cerberus goons, capable young man. But Cerberus brought in a heavy mech and the students retreated to safety.
The young biotic was Ensign Prangley, as we learned afterwards. He told us more about the situation, and also how exhausted the students were. They were able to take a short break, and Ensign Rodriguez took the chance to ask about the first ever kill, which she had today. I had to tell her it doesn't get easier, and it seems both James and I remembered our first kill for a moment.
We continued shortly after and went for the atrium, while the biotic students kept themselves safe on the upper levels, supporting us from there.
It wasn't easy dealing with the waves of Cerberus troops, but we managed to get through eventually. Unfortunately, Prangley was shot in the back when he tried to help Rodriguez, just when we where ready to leave this place. Damn shame.
We now have the support of the biotic students and I decide to have them reinforce key positions with their barriers. Hopefully that keeps them safe enough.
And now for the genophage...
As we approached Tuchanka we learned that a Reaper sits directy in front of our destination, just our luck.
The turians are to support us from above, while the krogan come from the ground. Hopefully this strategy will suffice and the Reaper can be drawn away from the tower.
And another surprise awaited. The salarian dalatress wanted a word in the comm room. She revealed a sabotage of the Shroud facility, which would mean the cure wouldn't actually cure the genophage. I gotta say I'm tempted. Wreav's revenge comments are troubling, and even with Eve on board it seems too big of a risk. But I have not yet decided what to do.
Besides James I wanted Javik to accompany me, he knows more about the Reapers than any of us, maybe that helps.
On the shuttle ride to our destination, Eve noticed I was deep in thoughts, but I found some excuse.
We took care of some husks as soon as we touched down, and then another krogan clan approached us. While the two krogan fractions started arguing about a salarian being on Tuchanka, Eve stepped in and every krogan fell silent. I was impressed, she seems so strong and the males seem to follow her lead and respect her.
We set out in the krogan Tomkahs, and Eve once more noticed the look on my face. She's good, but I revealed nothing.
At some point we hit a dead end. Unfortunately we were separated shortly after, my squad and I having to go through some ruins. We learned of the mother of all Thresher Maws, Kalros, and the rumbling we felt from time to time was not exactly reassuring.
After dealing with some Reaper forces and seeing Kalros in action, we caught up with Wreav again, and Eve had the idea to summon Kalros directly to the Reaper with two giant hammers, in order to create a distraction. Hell of a plan, and I hope that works.
Turns out it did. Between fighting brutes, dodging them and also the Reaper feet, I managed to activate both hammers. I ordered James and Javik to go back to Wreav and Kalros appeared. She took down that Reaper! What a sight that was, truly astonishing.
But there's no time to stop, so I proceeded to the Shroud facility. Mordin was there. But no Eve. Eve had died, and with her the last argument in favor of the cure, no matter how thin it had been.
Mordin noticed the temperature malfunctioning, and I revealed the sabotage. He wasn't surprised by this, but about the fact that I knew and said nothing the whole time.
With my head hanging I told him I needed the salarian support.
Mordin understood, but he could not accept it. He still wanted to cure the genophage.
In the heat of the moment I drew my gun on Mordin. I didn't even think this through, and now it was too late to back out. Mordin would not give up, and my attempts to intimidate him with my gun didn't work. Two choices. Shoot, or let Mordin cure the genophage... with Wreav in charge.
Sorry, old friend...
I pulled the trigger, defeated. I couldn't believe I just did that. But it was the only option. And I will take this secret to the grave, no-one can ever find out what I did here.
I went back outside and saw the particles of the "cure" swirling around in the peculiar tuchankan light. It was so pretty, and yet so devious.
Then the krogan and I said goodbye to Eve. Standing there watching the ceremony brought up some thoughts. Regret.
I told Wreav Eve dying was my fault. Those were not just empty words. I meant it. Eve brought a new perspective to the krogan, proved they can be different. And now she's dead. A voice of reason. I might not have had to shoot Mordin were she still alive. But it is what it is.
We returned to the Normandy and Garrus convinced me to get some sleep. I took his advice and I fell asleep fast, exhausted from the day and my decisions.
Then the dream again. Whispers of people I lost were haunting me, while I chased the kid, or maybe my innocence, my hopes for the future, ending up burning.
I woke up and splashed water in my face, looking at myself in the mirror.
Who are you?
The things I'm doing in order to win this war are... troublesome. I shot Mordin. He was an innocent in this, he just wanted to help. He was a... friend, someone I fought alongside, someone who had my back. And someone who had thought I had his back. Damn... I hate this war so much. Just as I felt tears quelling up, Liara came by.
She asked if this was a bad time, but I shook it off and told her it's fine. She told me the salarian Councilor has some news.
The Councilor brought bad news that had to do with Udina. Seems he moves around money, large sums, and not to support the alliance. Well that can't be good. I agreed to go see her next time we're on the Citadel.

Guys, I'm done! Hannah's playthrough drains me emotionally from time to time But I'm so glad I'm doing things I thought I never could, it adds a lot of depth right now. Cried like a baby when I shot Mordin, that was even worse than his normal death.
And on a side not, I absolutely loved how Hale delivered the line that it was Shep's fault that Eve died. That was great! Now off to bed

That scene where Shepard shoots Mordin is so well done. Although heart-wrenching, it is definitely worth doing on occasion just for the greater emotional impact.
I read this thread regularly, and the stories on here are better than comics I've read.
With all the Andromeda discussions going on right now, this here is still the first thread I visit each day, with a lot of anticipation. I love reading all the stuff posted here, always so much fun and interesting

It really is, and it makes you feel sooo guilty. Not enough you shoot him in the friggin back, no, you have to witness how he drags himself up there, still hoping he can make it. I don't wanna know what's going on in his mind in these last moments. Argh
The funny thing is that I grew way more attached to Hannah than I ever wanted, haha. So much I'll make her my canon Shep (maybe with a few different choices when replaying at some point, using more fitting interrupts etc.)
And that as someone who only started this Femshep to make some different/hard choices for once. But everything is falling so nicely together, I'm loving it!
Oh, and Tuchanka video is uploaded by now

Edit: cap, I can't reply to your last YT comment, do you know why?
After my chat with the salarian Councilor, Traynor informed me that Hackett is available on vid comm too. I asked him about our status with everything, allies, Reaper progress. And he still couldn't get over the fact the salarians were on board. I'm gonna have to face the aftermath now, he will not be the only one who will mention this.
As I returned to the CIC I braced myself for this. I took a deep breath and put on my mask of indifference, like I've done so many times before. I approached the bridge, and Joker and Garrus were... telling jokes. Really, guys? No, it's actually fine, I can get they need some distraction, but I am definitely not in a joke mood right now. As soon as they were done I had a chat with the both of them. Joker commented on the fact of the secured krogan-turian alliance, then he mentioned Mordin, said he's sorry.
Garrus mentioned how he always thought of Mordin as crazy, and yeah, maybe he was, but he was a good guy.
He then asked me how it feels being in the good books of the krogan. I told him the truth, I only did it for the war effort. The topic shifted to the cure, and how Garrus wouldn't be sure he would've done the same if he were in my shoes, curing the genophage. Well, I didn't, but nobody can ever know. I told Garrus that this would be tough to live with, to which he agreed and added that Mordin would probably not have stood for that anyway. No, Garrus, he wouldn't have. Secretly thinking again I had no other choice, justifying it as best as I could.
EDI was busy uploading data of the dead Reaper to the turians and Liara expressed worry as to what the krogan would be up to after the war is over. I don't like it that I have to deceive my crew like this. I am sorry.
I checked in on Javik too, see how he settled in. I figured it would be hard on him to be thrown into our time, but he seems stable, ready for anything. Maybe because of the things he's already witnessed and being brought up in war times.
It is so strange to see him do this reading thing, he was able to trace Jack earlier, now Miranda, and Thane.
Javik started drawing parallels between me and him, that we're both prisoners of the war, both never known anything else. I did once, my childhood. But that was a long time ago.
I told Javik that we may be free if we should win this war. Would be a nice change, huh. It has been a stressful 3 years.
Javik also thanked me for being able to witness a Reaper's death, and he mentioned how he would've proceeded with the salarian-krogan problem... Just as I did. I think he knows. The way he said it showed me he knew that I manipulated the cure. And not only that, he is even impressed I did so. I will not tell him anything, he should believe what he wants, but he is right about one other thing he said to me earlier.
I am on a path where morality does not matter anymore. That there is no place for this in the war we're fighting. Yeah... I noticed that. Finishing missions with efficiency has always been my strong suit, I was good at that. I can't be second-guessing myself now, winning the war is the bigger picture here, and I must live up to that. Javik is right. I have to try and ignore personal feelings in all this. Can't dwell on my decisions when there's so much at stake.
With a newly-grown resolution I went to Allers, who wanted a short interview. I shamelessly told the audience that the "cure" we've spread serves as a redemption for the krogan.
I am getting good at this...
These dialogues when you sabotage the cure! Amazing, love every bit of it. Javik's conversation was great, and the respect he brings in for that decision is really cool. I said it before, the Tuchanka arc is absolutely great, forever one of my favourite missions.
Also, I got Garrus munching on his armor

Jen Shepard (Biotic/Slam Soldier) went to the Citadel to meet the Salarian Councilor and then go watch a Hanar pole dancer (don't ask). Unfortunately for her, Cerberus decided it was a good time to try to take over the Citadel. Unfortunately for Cerberus, Jen Shepard was packing a couple of guns and two biotic squadmates.
Some wannabe ninja guy tried to kill the councilor and failed, so he shanked Thane instead. That only made Jen madder. It also made her stupid and she let him somehow stab her skycar out of the sky. Crazy, right? Now she was righteously pissed and took it out on an Atlas mech, Phantoms, and a few other Cerberus nobodies who happened to get in her way.
She made it to the other councilors and was ready to shoot Udina in his big fat stupid head but Kaiden was trying to play bodyguard and got in her way. Luckily for Kaiden, he listened to the angry lady and moved out of the way. Jen was a lousy shot and missed Udina's head, but got him in the heart so it all worked out.

Played ME3 from Palavin moon up till just past getting the first DLC character. It's been awhile. Exploring the rest of the Citadel DLC past just the main mission is what brought me back. I want to party & try that battle type side mission thing.
I have finished the Omega dlc, renegade mostly, with my Infiltrator femshep, the look is on my profile picture, plus the scars. I used the Black Widow sniper rifle and occasionally the Carnifex (only against the adjutants.)
I saw on this walkthrough that many missions are so much easier with the Infiltrator....
Returned to the game and the forums after some busy period. Liking all the posts I've missed (ran out of likes at some point!). You all are amazing!

After the attempted coup by Cerberus, Jen Shepard (Biotic/Slam Soldier) decided to tour the Citadel and take in the sights of someone else's destruction for a change. Unfortunately, the tour was a vast disappointment. It was mostly just running around helping stupid people solve problems they could not solve themselves. She watched Thane die. Joker turned her down. She dealt with two Batarian terrorists (aren't all Batarians terrorists?). She ran into annoying superfan Conrad Verner. Conrad Verner nearly got shot, but he lived to annoy another day. Kaiden was his usual mopey self, and he wanted to join the Normandy again. Kaiden is useful -- Jen has Slam, he has Reave -- so she let him join again.
Then it was back to the Normandy... where she had to read e-mail, talk to everybody (including the stupid sexbot), and then fly around the galaxy scanning solar systems for stuff. Then it was back to Citadel to deliver things to people, trade medical goods with an uptight Turian (aren't all Turians uptight?), and talk with Kaiden who essentially wanted to say "hey you are a good friend". Gee thanks Kaiden.
Stupid Citadel. At some point, Jen wants to enjoy her stay on the Citadel instead of running errands for everybody. Soon, maybe.
But now with all that behind her, it is time to do what she does best: dealing with stupid people by shooting them in the face. First, there are some Ex-Cerberus Scientists that need rescuing. Second, there is an Asari Monastery to destroy. Well, no one has specifically asked Shepard to destroy the Monastery, but no one asks Shepard to just "investigate" a place.
