Finished Therum. I really hate that mind meld crap. And since I recruited T'soni before doing Virmire, there will be another mind meld session. So now Honey Shepard will continue her "kill all male squadmate" playthrough and go to Virmire and later Ilos.

I started up a ME3 NG+ of my canon femshep, Svetlana.

Colonist/Ruthless

Infiltrator

Rachni Queen dead

Balak dead

Shiala alive

Exo-Geni rep dead

Colonists saved

Wrex dead

Kaidan dead

Council dead

Grunt sold to Cerberus (headcanon, just never opened it)

Geth sold to Cerberus (Legion who?)

Tali exonerated

David kept in Overlord

Cure research destroyed

Thane dead

Collector base saved

No romance till Traynor

Hooked up with G-man on Menae, pulled Jack out of the fire, captured some Cerberus data on the Reapers, recruited Javik, didn't visit unconcious Ashley, visited her when she woke up and it didn't go well. I didn't even get the opportunity to say 'all's good with us'. Well fine, cause it ain't. She said a line about being unsure where we stood to end the conversation. We'll see how this pans out.

Honestly Spork it is worth trying the power, even if the game says you 'can't' use it.

For example the game is saying on my current run that Ash's Concussive Shot is useless against shielded enemies. Yet I've picked the upgrade that gives it the strength of the active ammo power (Disruptor Ammo in Ash's case.) Which means it is very effective against shields.

I think the game thinks of everything at level one and doesn't look to upgrades.

Here's some helpful tips/hints about her romance if interested.

Shepard sent the saluting guy to save the shadow broker wet squad. At least I assume she did.

I had actually checked that out earlier today. This isn't my first Traynor romance play, but I never knew that part after Tuchanka where she talks to Shep in the war room, cause I've never not had Garrus alive. I almost want to gibb Garrus out in this playthru, but nah.

Finally re-beat ME2 in preparation for my first ME3 run in a year (and first with the Citadel downloaded ever).  Paragade Shepard, made every decision I would have made (ie.  mostly paragon, but a few major "renegade" decisions like destroying the heretics and saving the collector base).  Now I just have to do overlord, LotSB, and Arrival and I'm ready to import.

Honey Shepard continues her "kill all male squadmate" playthrough going to Virmire and having Ashley kill Wrex  and letting Kaidan stay with the bomb.

So with 2 down and 8 more to go, Honey will meet her goal at the end of ME3

Went back to the Citadel and Udina locked the SR1. Too bad there wasn't an interrupt to punch him. She talked with Conrad and told him to go back to Earth and help. Met with Anderson at Flux and decided for him to use the Ambassador's console to unlock the SR1.

Honey, with Ashley, Tali and Liara went to Ilos to get to the Conduit. Made it to the Citadel and talked Saren into shooting himself and decided(like always) not to save the council. Killed robosaren and made Udina councilor.

Now I will take my level 37 femshep into ME2 and stop the collectors.

Isn't sending Conrad back to Earth the same as saving him (when you could other wise kill him?)?

I don't plan on killing him.  He is not a squadmate.

Yep, I'll give it another shot, I just haven't faced any husks since Menae. I've got Sur'Kesh up next after a not-so-quick tour of the Citadel and tactful bullying diplomacy session with the Dalatrass, so it'll be awhile before I can test it on some more husks.

Things are working out nicely for me to get my Adept BroShep ready for import into ME3 over the weekend.  Completed LoTSB last night, all squadmates are loyal, and all that's left to do before hitting the Omega-4 Relay is grabbing the IFF & Legion (and running through his loyalty mission).  I should be able to pull that off, hit the Collector base, then do Arrival in one long session tonight.

I also still haven't completed Overlord this run, and I doubt I am going to before importing to ME3.  I skipped it during my last trilogy run, which ended up being a speed run in everything but name - and you know what?  I found that I really didn't miss it.  Not seeing David at Grissom Academy was a bit a let down, but that was a minor change, and one that I could deal with as I just really didn't enjoy that DLC all that much.

Also, this is the first time I've used Adept in ME2 (I am horrible at picking a class and sticking with it for a complete run).  One question - why the heck is throw so underpowered in this game?  I've had heavy throw unlocked for a while now, and it takes repeated hits to kill even basic enemies.  You'd think getting hit with enough force to effectively get picked up and slammed into a wall 30 feet away at high speed would incapacitate most people after one or two occurrences, not 7.  I also find it common to hit a target (not shielded, no barrier or armor) and even though it launches them across the room, their health bar doesn't drop any noticeable amount.  I'd never have thought a power that let you launch bad guys across the map all rag-dolly could be so unsatisfying.

I don't know, I found Throw to be quite satisfying. Its a good CC power, insta-kills husks, with area Throw on Veteran or lower difficulty the IFF mission becomes quite easy, and you can knock Collectors off platforms as they fly in. Cryo blast doesn't kill anything either, but it CC's. I know I had great fun as a Sentinel stripping the armor off a Krogan then throwing him on his back repeatedly as I shot the snot out of him. "Guess what Mr. Krogan? A pistol really will cut it, cuz you ain't never getting up off the floor!" I also enjoyed getting up in Jedore's face and tossing her on her butt.

Don't put more than a single point in throw...

You gotta use pull, man. And then have Miranda or Thane as squadmate with Unstable Warp. Glorious.

Husks are about the only thing throw is good for in ME2.

@psychevore - will be doing the suicide mission tonight - might have to redistribute my points and try some pull/warp combos, cause throw just isn't doing it for me.

Lmao, these are my plans for tonight too :P

but first I gotta finish Tali's loyalty mission (With Legion in the squad, of course :P) followed by Legion's LM.

Never actually taken Legion to the Flotilla with Tali - mainly because I usually can't leave Tali in that "can't talk till you help me out" limbo for that long.

Is it possible to do this without getting some of your crew goo-ified?

I was wondering that as well.  What's the gooey crew member, post IFF limit?  2 missions? 3?

I think you can squeeze one mission in beforehand. Speaknto Legion after getting him to activate his loyalty mission then go straight and so it. I don't think you can do tali and legion loyalty beforehand without milkshaking some of the crew.

Actually that is not true. I was able to do Legion's LM and Tali's LM before the Collectors decided to play space pirates and commandeer the Normandy while the Captain was getting s*** faced with his favorite crew-members at purgatory.

Yeah it's definitely two missions. I always do Legions recruitment and LM before the collectors board the ship.

Yes. Just don't have Tali do anything important during the suicide mission(vent, escort or fight the reaper) and do her loyalty mission after the suicide mission with Legion.

Right, I meant before.

But Legion's recruitment mission *is* the IFF mission. Traditional knowledge here has said that after the IFF mission you get one mission before the Collectors capture your crew, and that if you do any missions after that and before the SM then some of your crew gets liquified.

Collector's board the ship when you have no loyalty missions left. So you can do both Tali's and Legion's LM before anything happens.

There's no exact mission count. If you've done all loyalty mission and sell Legion instead of waking him up, the Collector's immediatly board the ship.

I don't know when the Collector's board if you have a tonne of LM open though... never had that happen
