Shepard looked at that armor and cried. Still no light human armor.

I do, I was going for the humor of Shepard looking at some heavy armor and crying, and misleading readers to think he's thinking of Ash and instead was thinking about the armor he didn't get.
I plan on doing that later on today or tomorrow.

the turians crashed a ship on tuchanka. Were they seeing how big a crater they could make?
I had to tell the LT to convince his soldiers to continue their mission
the tattoo girl punched me
I gave her 4 new tattoo's. One for each eye, one for her nose and one for her mouth
saw elvis. he's ready to leave the hospital
talked with the cheerleader. she forgot to bring her pom poms
my shuttle pilot is happy to be off the Normandy
Almost finished ME2. done everything, missions, side missions and gear. have all the fish and model ships. now to hit the collector base. best team ever, Thane and Legion.
Collectors are dead, 2 chits with the nuke cannon (Cain) cos nothing says get lost like a nuke in the face. Told the Illusive man to get stuffed. Watched Joker shoot some collectors while i made a run for it. And most importantly, everyone survived.

Cos I'm just that good!
I'm surprised she was able to see anything with that huge helmet on....really should have got a visor as an optional extra ![]()
I like the stats on Kestrel helmet but I like to see my Shepard's facial expressions more. Too bad there's no "no helmet" toggle.

the dalatrass wants me to sabotage the cure. I agree
meet a bunch a krogan who argue about stupid stuff
that's what happens when you fly in front of a reaper. you get shot down. idiot

I shot a salarian in the back. I was trying to shoot the button. but he got in the way. oh well
krogan and turians are happy
I need to get back to the citadel
the wannabe's are causing problems
I don't know what's funnier, the drell playing chicken or the ponytail using a sword
put the gun down elvis. I don't want to kill the King of rock. Wait a minute. That's the other elvis
yes elvis, you can come back on the Normandy
the chess girl came up to my cabin
not sure what happened after that. I think I will have to recreate the scene
elvis is worried about his parents
I'm surprised she was able to see anything with that huge helmet on....really should have got a visor as an optional extra
The description for the helmet:
The Kestrel armor system's helmet forgoes traditional transparent visors in favor of a reinforced faceplate with an internal heads-up display. The display connects to redundant microcameras to allow naturalistic vision, and the helmet's weapon autotargeting and shield software provides a substantial boost to performance.

And several hours later, my OTP found themselves together in record time...
And then I found out that I didn't give the Bioamp Schematics to that Asari chick, didn't talk to Kelly after telling her to change the identity... so I might need to restart Priority Tuchanka again... but I'm having trouble with these HR textures. Starting to get bored from all the rebooting and long texmod wait time.
And I finally found out that you have to talk to Conrad BEFORE you fix the Medigel... tsk....
I like the stats on Kestrel helmet but I like to see my Shepard's facial expressions more. Too bad there's no "no helmet" toggle.
i can't remember i usually play with the helmet on as i kinda feel like an easy head shot target with it hidden. but i think in the options menu i think you can hide the helmet.

Nah. You can't hide helmets in ME2 and ME3. The only way I could do with mine was to tweak the coalesced.
Nah. You can't hide helmets in ME2 and ME3. The only way I could do with mine was to tweak the coalesced.
This is not right. In ME3 there is a default, off in conversations, and just off. You can find this in the options menu under "narrative."
There's "default off" toggle for squadmates but not for Shepard as there's only "default on" or "off in conversation". There's several scenes where the helmet would still show up if you wear full armor; the beginning of Grissom Academy, the scene where you climb inside the Geth pod, the Sword scene, the final Hammer scene where your team drop down from a wall... This is a special problem especially for me who like Cerberus Nightmare armor and the visor wasn't transparent.... and the Rannoch mission was bad with a blank face helmet
and you can't turn off helmet during conversation in ME2. Its only available in ME1 and ME3.
The helmets can be hidden in most conversations, but I never wear one currently ![]()
Well, today I had a really weird experience, didn't even think it was possible. I fell down to the lower level when fighting the Phantoms and Nemesis...es during the coup. Through that stupid gap!! It must've been because one of the Phantoms hit me exactly when I jumped.
Had to reload and cut my video afterwards
Here it is:
After the salarian dalatress had told me about Udina, we went to the Citadel right away. Joker tried to clear us for landing, but there was no response, only a message playing that the Citadel is under attack.
James, Javik and I boarded the shuttle and we were dropped off right into action. Cerberus had swarmed the station.
After we had taken care of them we headed for Commander Bailey, who had been shot, but he seemed alright. With his help we got inside C-Sec HQ and found out that the salarian Councilor was supposed to meet with the Executer. Bailey told me that usually means someone big is being prosecuted. This must be about Udina.
We proceeded through C-Sec in order to rescue the salarian Councilor, taking out Cerberus troops and seeing lots of bodies along the way. What a slaughterhouse.
I updated Bailey as soon as we reached the salarian Councilor. She was alright, but suddenly someone dropped down from above right in front of her. The 3 of us pointed our weapons on the guy, which didn't stop him though. He attacked, but Major Kirrahe had protected the Councilor and took the hit.
After chasing the assassin we unfortunately lost him, and Kirrahe's last attempt to shoot him down ended with him dying right in front of me. ****. He was a good soldier.
But we had to press on to find the rest of the Council. We used a shuttle to pick up the chase again. But damn, this assassin caused us to crash down and he got away once more. We eventually made our way to the Council Elevator, killing more Cerberus troops on the way. We managed to get into the elevator shaft and jumped on the Council's elevator. As we dropped down into the elevator interior, I saw myself confronted by an all too familiar face. Kaidan...
It was a tense situation, guns drawn, and I tried to explain the situation to him. He wouldn't budge at first, but then he put his trust in me. I was reliefed. I don't know what I would've done otherwise...
Udina then pulled out a gun and I reacted quickly, shooting him with absolute resolution. Never liked this guy anyway.
Bailey caught up with us and told the Council I just saved their asses. I'm glad they finally came around, good having them on my side now and they saw reason for once.
Bailey and I had another chat in his office, and then I went to find the members of the crew scattered on the Citadel.
Cortez was hanging out at the Purgatory bar near the dancefloor, and asked me to have a drink with him. Ah, what the hell, it's only a small one.
He seems happier now, I'm glad everything worked out for him. Cheers, Cortez! (I would've loved to decline though
)
Joker was also around, observing people, and he asked my opinion on him and EDI. Uh, I don't know, Joker, if you want her, go get her. I told him he should do it (neutral option here sorely missed!). He never had anyone and he seems to already like her that much anyway. Why should I stop him? It's an experience he has to make on his own.
After our exciting trip James relaxed by playing poker at the docks, and I reminded him to not loose everything. He Lola'd me again and told me to have a little faith. I have, Vega, just a little.
Kaidan waited for me by the Normandy. He was still shaken by our little confrontation, especially since it was with someone he loves. I think I might need to talk to him about that soon. I just... don't feel that way anymore. Hell, I wasn't even sure back then...
He told me he had the feeling I might've taken him out if he hadn't backed down, and I answered honestly. It could've played out in a few different ways. It's only important we stopped Cerberus and the coup. After we cleared the air a bit, he asked if he could join us again and I gladly accepted. I still like having him around and he is a valuable soldier, so I didn't have to think twice about that.
Back on the Normandy I had a chat with Hackett and Anderson and learned the assassin was Kai Leng, someone Anderson had run into before. We discussed the newly gained support and the Crucible, and then I was on my way to check on the crew.
Kaidan had settled in and we talked about the war, and that he had heard from his mom that his dad was missing. I tried to comfort him, it must be horrible to not know what happened to your loved ones. It's probably worse to not know than to know with certainty...
Garrus stood in front of the Memorial wall. He reflected on the day, asking if I really could've taken Kaidan down. I told Garrus yes. I'd like to think I could've. I wouldn't make the same mistake twice and jeopardize the whole mission, would I? (Yet another instance I disliked that we didn't get a neutral option. A simple "I don't know."
)
Well, in any case, it's easy to say what I would've done in hindsight, but I might have made a totally different choice back then. Good thing I didn't have to. Our history might have made me a little soft...
Allers wanted to have an interview and when I returned to my cabin, Traynor sent her up. I answered her questions, and then I think Allers tried to hit on me, but I was very clear on how I thought about this. After the interview I took some time to relax in my cabin, too. I felt drained. E-mails and work can wait until tomorrow.
Highlights today:
Harley Shepard
went to eden prime
saw the spot where Jenkins was killed. good guy. I like for everyone to have a moment of silence

the prothean has 4 eyes. it must be expensive when buying eyeglasses

I danced with the tattoo girl
had a drink with my shuttle pilot. told him he could only have one drink
said hello to favorite buddy. Long time no see Zaeed.

fun time is over.
lets see what the quarians are doing
Ryal Shepard was forced to go through the final mission of ME2 again so Mordin could survive into ME3.
Once that was done jumped right into restarting ME3 again (luckily I was only 2 hours into the one I started yesterday) with the new ME2 save.
Just found Liara on Mars and trying to deal with Cerberus troopers and Kaidan complaining and blaming all at once ![]()
If he wasn't so cute and she hadn't dated him some time ago (stupid past feelings), she probably would have tossed him out of the airlock then worked on some calibrations with Garrus afterwards.

No you're not, as the armour you get depends on your level at the time. I asked for armour and got a suit of Devlon Explorer armour when I was level 20.
If you are playing the DLC for a good suit of armour then it is best to leave Bring Down the Sky as late as possible.

Ok, I guess I never went in at that low a level. I think the lowest I have gone in at is somewhere in the 30's. I got a suit of Colossus VI armor. I didn't even know that such low level Colossus armor existed. It's still good, but only had one mod slot.

the quarians decided the best time to attack the geth is when the reapers are in the galaxy. If it wasn't for needing their fleet, I would just sit back and ignore them
a quarian goes with on the dreadnought
geth can talk? Did a miss a memo somewhere? I will have to ask my comms girl if she forgot to send me the message
the geth want to live so they chose to be slaves instead of dying. Mmm. Stupid machines. Too bad I didn't bring my socket set and srewdriver to dismantle the thing
the quarian admiral fires while I'm still on the dreadnought
tell me something dirtbag? Would you like me to fire on a ship that you're on? I'm beginning to undrstand why the rest of the galaxy doesn't think too kindly of the quarians
just to get back at that admiral, I should help the machines. Haha. You're a mean one Ms. Grinch. lets see what happens
I'm going inside a server. Won't that kill the person? The better question is would a server let me inside. Oh crap. Wrong server.
I shoot a bunch of pixels
Is itjust me or does it feel like I'm in a video game?
I'm glad to be out of the server
Remember that talking machine? Well it said they have evolve. Can my computer say that when I switch from windows 95 to windows 98? I'm back to saving the quarians. Machines are stupid. Its life. That's a good one flashlight. That thing would make for a good comedian
I head up to my cabin to watch another Clint Eastwood movie
Harley Shepard
lets see about some Cerberus scientists
I rmember that guy. forget the name
fight a lot of wannabees
saved everyone
so Koris crashed his ship and now I'm going to save him
found his location
I delay firing at the geth to let koris sweat a little bit
this is the reaper base
lots of geth
its a reaper in the hole. I thought they stayed in darkspace. That's their secret. They hide under ground until the time is right. This is vital information
play cat and mouse with the reaper
it talks. I kill it
the machine wants me choose it over the quarians. I told it if it gave me 1 million credits I would. It didn't have it, so its dead now.
the holoasari wants to talk with me. fine. it better be important
... fasting, malnutrition, dizziness and pms.... not a good combo. Today I spent hours with the CC, recreating several new looks for my old trilogy characters and abusing Gibbed. Totally procrastinating.
My first trilogy playthrough; Shierra Shepard - Earthborn/Ruthless, reformed Renegade and formerly an Infiltrator but currently an Adept. She like to smile while killing things but now she looked appropriately hardass. Liara romancer.... or Traynor..?
Then, Andraste Shepard, a Spacer/War Hero/Novaguard, the first one who did all of the DLCs but thanks to Gibbed, she killed almost everyone in ME2 and forgot that she and her former lieutenant had a thing for each other.
Then the ex-canon, Aoife the Colonist/SoleSurvivor/Engineer, a traumatized softie with a renegade streak. Unfortunately, no Kaidan-baby for her....
and an awesome interview with Raphael Sbarge. Didn't know he used to be in Sesame Street.
