Right, I meant before.

But Legion's recruitment mission *is* the IFF mission. Traditional knowledge here has said that after the IFF mission you get one mission before the Collectors capture your crew, and that if you do any missions after that and before the SM then some of your crew gets liquified.

Jeez I'm stupid, but still I have managed to do both overlord and Legions loyalty before the collectors come.

I imported Honey Shepard into ME2 to continue her "kill all male squadmate" playthrough.

She helps the clown out of the cockpit only to be killed a few moments later. Too bad we couldn't leave Joker to die. Or better yet, why couldn't your squadmates get him to the escape pod? I guess we know where their loyalty lies. Makes me glad I'm playing ME2 now.

She wakes up and kills a few robots before meeting Jacob and a few moments later helps Wilson only to have Miranda add another hole in his head. I like that.

She wanted to ask TIM how Cerberus got her body and what parts were replaced on her body, but didn't get the chance to ask. That sucks.

Off to Freedom's Progress she goes and runs into Tali. Honey defeats the robots and Veetor talks about the monsters and swarms. I send Veetor back with Tali and find out I will have to stop the collectors. Run into Joker. Why can't I shoot the clown right there? Get a new ship and will be heading to Omega to pick up Mordin.

Her mission may be to stop the Collectors, but her main goal is to kill all the male squadmates. She's looking forward to it.

Go Team Sappho!

Didn't get much play in last night. I finished up pre-Tuchanka errands on the Citadel, got Aria an army, got Liara to talk to her dad and parked the Normandy to go to a private party on Omega with Aria. Victus has been patiently waiting in the war room for Shep for quite some time now. :D I'm going for the ambiguous ending with Aria, though that's hard to get not playing as an Engineer. Will see if I can balance the bad-assitude and compassion enough, and I think I'll wait for the 2nd renegade interrupt at the reactor, that should do it.

As the commander of the ship, it's technically Shepard's duty to get everyone off the ship and be the last to escape, at least within reason. What bothers me more is how Shepard couldn't simply shove Joker into the pod and jump in and launch, but stop and look at the stupid particle beam.

It may be his/her duty, but why couldn't others  help make sure everyone gets to a pod. Its hard for Shepard to be in 2 places at once. This all falls under teamwork. Last I checked their is no "i" in the word team.

I can't remember exactly how this goes down in a non-Liaramance playthrough, but at the very least, she insists on staying until Shepard orders her to get off the ship. Of course, this is more a constraint in the dialogue since you have two options, and neither of them tell her to get him herself. Doesn't matter though, because Joker was an idiot. The damn escape pod is right next to him.

Joker is an idiot and still is an idiot when he tells Shepard there's no regulation's saying he can't date a ships AI.

Lol, at the very least he might be technically correct about the last part though. It could set the precedent for updating the Alliance personnel manual with rules and regulations on "Amorous Affiliations with Alliance Property".

themikefest, do you plan to save the normandy crew? I mean, if you let them perish, you will lose ken, rupert and a lot of males. But you will also lose kelly, gabby and the doctor.

What´s your priority? Having all the girls around? Or eliminating all thew boys?

You know, I tried doing this before. Not only I used a female shep, but I was always lesbian (liara-kelly-traynor-reporter), but I saved all the girls, even if it meat saving some males too.

Do you plan to hack the readiness settings in order to kill james, javik or garrus at the end during the run?

It would be really cool to see only women attending your funeral. In my case, james was there, because I had a lot of points.

It would be nice if you could make a video of it. Or the endings showing only women surviving in the closing sections.

Also, do you plan to use maelon´s data in order to fool the krogan?

because if you want to kill all the males, you should wrex live in me1, save the data, allow the cure to be sabotaged. If wrex is alive, kalross will kill wreav. And after wrex discovers the truth he will die. But eve could live, if you disable the bomb and use maelons data.

Yes I plan on saving the Normandy crew. I already have the suicide mission played out, I just have to do it when I get there.

My priority is for all male squadmates to die while letting all female squadmates live. No crew members will die during this trilogy run.

Garrus will die in ME2 and as far as James and Javik go, they will die on the beam run. Its not hard at all to get your ems low enough for the squadmates to die on the beam run.

The only ones that will be at the memorial wall scene will be Tali, Ashley, Samantha, Liara, Joker and Steve.

I'm playing on ps3 so I won't have a video. It would be hard to have all females at the memorial since Joker will always be in the scene.

I will not do any loyalty missions for the male squadmates so I won't seeing Maelon.

If you have wrex and save the data and don't do the bomb mission you will end up with 0 Krogan assets. I know. I've done it a number of times. In this playthrough I will not do the bomb mission, Padok Wiks will live while fooling Wreav into believing the genophage is cured.

I've got the whole playthrough figured out. I estimate I will have roughly between 1780 and 1850 ems when I get to the beam run

My next playthrough will be "kill all female squadmate" except I will play as a full renegade and will be very similair to this current playthrough.

That´s cool. I tried it once too. I also once killed all me1 characters except for liara, and every character introduced in me2 too.

Also, you can kill steve during the mission on earth. All you need to do is to neglect his personal issues.

When I did my girl-power playt of the trilogy, I tried to always use female companion with me as soon as at least 2 were available. I took male members when it was essential (like james, jacob and kaidan) or during the suicide mission when they could die (bye-bye, grunt). I´ve also killed zaed post suicide mission and i destroyed legion inside the cerberus base.

I know about Steve. He won't die since he's not a squadmate.

I have done a playthrough with Liara being the only squadmate to die(not counting the robot when picking destroy, Thane who always die and didn't recruit Wrex so Mordin can live in ME3 and Kaidan who died on Virmire) unfortunately Shepard died.

the high Dragon in the sacred ashes quest? You don't have to fight it if you don't want to. And if you do you can always go back to it later in the game.

yeah i know I don't have to, got the ashes. Thought I'd give it a go and it's kicking the crap out of me; not even got it down to 2/3 health.

Honey Shepard has recruited Mordin. Garrus, Zaeed, Jack and Grunt once she lets him out of his tank before she checks out Horizon.

Ya, the dragons are easily the hardest battles in the game. Very MMORPG like in that the party has to be fully speced and prepared for the encounter.

I've still not made any progress on my ME1 play-through in a while. Probably won't get a chance to touch ME1 until the beginning of May when I have a month off from school, and I just haven't had time lately.

I will say that I'm curious about the Dragon Age games, but I'm not so sure it would be a good idea to get involved with yet another major time suck like Mass Effect was.

Origins is an even bigger time suck than Mass Effect, I find. There's far more to go through in terms of both environment and dialogue.

If someone is planning to star dragon age, I would actually suggest trying the DLC for DA1. Or awakening. Story-wise they are not good introductions, but gameplay-wise they are okay, and take much less time to complete. Then you can try a more immersive experience like DA1 or 2.

All this recent DA:O talk makes me want to start another playthrough. Guess it's time to start that Dalish Warrior.
