The Normandy is flying past Jupiter and Neptune when he's saying that.

Okay, I had to re-watch the opening sequence to see that.

Some relays can connect to other relays, so one explanation is that the Sol relay had to turn around so it could connect to the Arcturus relay, therefore the "Arcturus relay being in range" meant that the Sol relay had turned enough so that it was now in position to connect to the Arcturus relay.

Another explanation would be that the developers just used Jupiter and Neptune as stand-ins for any planets in space. Or those are not Jupiter and Neptune but other planets that just happen to look like Jupiter and Neptune.

Or you know  it could have been an honest mistake or oversight.

Or try not to stare too closely at the Mass Effect universe or it will fall apart right before your very eyes.

I may have to use this as my sig.

AlanC9 also has a great sig line:

Wile E. Coyote Theory: Bioware games often don't make any sense. Usually this doesn't matter since the narrative flow will carry the player along even though the plot makes no sense. But if Bio ever gives the player time or reason to think about what's going on, the narrative falls to the bottom of the canyon.

I have never been able to get James to do it. I can use GIbbed's save editor to remove the other squadmate which will then force James to do the shooting. There's also a variable that tracks if James did the shooting, but after the Coup James didn't speak about it. Talked to him on the Citadel and the Normandy but no new dialogue. It seems they changed it so that James would never actually do it.

I've had all squadmates shoot, but never Liara

Went to the Collector Ship with Garrus and Miranda. I'm surprised to see how often Garrus dies but Miranda doesn't. You'd think Garrus is tougher than Miranda :)

The Derelict Reaper mission is available now and me thinking still whether to keep Garrus alive or not

Yes. I've had him and Liara a couple of times when Ashley/Kaidan were shot, and it was James each time. I have no proof since I play on the ps3.  I don't know the number of times I've had both shot, but Liara never has pulled the trigger when I had her with me

Damn! I also play on PS3, and that's just crazy. Maybe it has to do with who you pick first for the mission? Or if you use any of the interrupts? I didn't here. Or maybe non-import game?
Oh well. The only thing I wanna know is... does he say something about him shooting the VS when you talk to him after the mission? :)

My current ME3 playthrough I'm past that point, but in my current trilogy run, I will see about James shooting Ashley.

Whenever I do the coup mission I always save before going up the elevator. So I will remind myself to bring James and Liara on that mission to see who shoots who and how its decided who pulls the trigger. I don't believe its who is picked first or second since I've picked Liara first and she never shot Ashley/Kaidan

New chapter in the life of Comrade Shepard, protector of the proletariat.

Liara gave me a lead to Thane, an asari named Seryna. She told how to get to her boss´s apartment so he can fulfill his mission to kill her. The local asari cormpanies should perhaps reevaluate how they treat their workers. That he would be there was her only info. Oh come on I am not slaughtering my way up a skyscraper to do a job interview over a corpse. <_<

Seryna brought us there, it seems she thinks that we do just that. Yeah, yeah. Let´s look around. Perhaps we see where he entered and his likely escape route.

Gunfire?  Mecs gunning down unarmed civilians? Are they hacked or gone feral? Shot them down, checked on the salarians.

Oh come on Grunt, it´s just a medigel. And I need to know what´s going on.

Big eyes told us that the mecs were acting on orders and killed the workers. Nassana is completely bonkers.

Yeah Grunt, we are slaughtering our way up a skyscraper to do a job interview. -_-  Oh you have a gift? Incendiary ammo? Well ok, let´s pack some heat.

So up we went. Burned some people alive, I threw some people with biotics over ledges, Grunt shoved a shotgun in their face and Kasumi slitted their throat. Definitely not a thief only.  Grunt made some joke that his ammo is burning up the evidence. Some merc tried to play hard man and told me to kill him, he won´t talk. Ah well, sent him through a window. Some panicked salarian threatened me with a gun, punched him so he had some time to calm down.

Finally we reached the penthouse. Grunt said we killed 105 hostiles. Oh my, we left a huge pile of evidence and witnesses behind us. How many of these were mechs? You don´t know, because you don´t see the difference? :?

Talked a bit with Nassana, she called us crazy when I said we are just here to talk with someone. Pot calling the kettle black, lady, I can say that I just protected your workers from your antics. Ah Thane dude jumps in, kills her bodyguards and her. Hey, what´s he doing with her body? I hope his species isn´t one that needs the corpses of others to reproduce. He is praying for her? Oh no he is praying for himself. Yeah that totally makes sense. So we talked a bit, he went all zen on me. And I thought the asari was the warrior monk.

Told him we want to save the human colonists from the collectors but its probably a suicide mission. Fine for him, actually he will work for free? To make the universe brighter? Ok, I won´t complain.

No Grunt! Put down the flame ammo! He didn´t mean that he wants to torch the tower. Yes I know it would shine brightly in the night, but NO! And stop making this face at me.

Back on the ship. Jacob has some issues with an assassin on board. Only a gun for hire, can´t be trusted, doesn´t feel comfortable that an assassin watches his back. Dude, have you looked at our squad roster recently? <_< And I am not so worried about the crazies on board but about our boss using people around me as bait and forgetting to mention that I am possibly a primary target for the enemy. This is important stuff to know when planning a mission, I am not scared.

From the files of James Vega

I head to the docks to get a tattoo. I figure an N7 tattoo on my back would be cool.

I see the Commander talk with an older looking guy. I learned after the war the guy, Zaeed Massani, was a friend of Sheprd. A couple years later he died. It was one of a few times I saw the Commander cry. Ooops. Did it again. Went off topic.

The Commander came over and talked with me. I told her about the tattoo. I also noticed that she seemed to be thinking of something else instead of talking with me. I asked if she would get a tattoo of my name somewhere special. Well. That didn't go over too well. Yeah who I'm I kidding. I'm dealing with Satan.  She left to go take care of other business

Now we're on the geth dreadnought. I can't believe the quarians decided this would be the perfect time to attack the geth. I can see why its easy for the reapers to win all the time. Everyone else goes loco. We get attacked by a lot of geth.  You know what? I'm just going to tell the Commander not to bring me on anymore missions since its obvious I'm not needed since her and the LtCdr. have things under control.

What's this? A talking geth? Now I've seen or I should say, heard it all. The Commander isn't impress either. Why does it have a big hole in its torso? Is that some holographic whatever? I also see some holographic armor on its upper right arm. It almost looks like its pieces of an N7 armor. Whatever. We learn the geth decided to be slaves to the reapers instead of been destroyed. Not me. I would've forced them to kill me. I'm nobody's slave.

Now the quarians are firing on us. I hope the Commander goes full Satan on the quarians for that. Looking at the Commander, she looks to have the same idea.  Lets get to a fighter to get out of here. The Commander lets the thing on the Normandy. Did I miss my daily dose of dope taking today? This has got to be some freaked out dream or maybe its just a bad nightmare I'm having. I need to throw some water on my face to clear my head.

What's the LtCdr doing down here? She wants to talk and tells me to call her Ashley. Is she flirting with me? She is good looking. Ok. Sure. Why not? Just don't tell the Commander. I approve. I look over towards Esteban who gives me a smile. Yeah, yeah.

Long version:

Spoiler

Short version:

Today we finally took care of the Reaper base on Rannoch. James accompanied Tali and me yet again and on the shuttle ride the geth and I discussed how we would proceed. It mentioned then that it still carried Reaper code upgrades. I snapped. Yet another lie, shows me I cannot trust it. But for now we still need each other.

When we landed, Tali needed a moment, taking in the fact that she's on her homeworld. I am happy for her, but I also told her she needs to focus. If we're not winning this war... none of us have a place to return to. I don't really wanna think about it.

After Tali claimed a spot for her future house, we proceeded and stumbled over the first geth not soon. The base was well-guarded, but we had no trouble getting past all the geth we encountered. Guess we had our fair share of practice in the past.

After disabling a blast shield the geth had closed over the base, we headed up to the next level, from where I could use the targeting laser. The Normandy's weapons synced up to the target and blew the place to hell. But it was more complicated than we thought. An actual Reaper was hiding in that place, and now we're in deep sh*t! Good thing our geth was ready with an escape vessel. While I tried to shoot at the Reaper with a turret, I ordered an orbital strike on that thing. But even that was still not enough...

I needed to finish this. I got out and radioed EDI to link the quarian fleet to the Normandy's weapon system so the targeting laser is synced up with everything. With the firepower of the whole fleet we might have a chance against the Reaper. I targeted it while dodging its fatal laser, again and again until after the fifth strike, it finally fell.

The Reaper wasn't dead yet though, and it spoke to me, knew my name, knew who I was. Reassuring. I tried to understand what they wanted from us. Why the Reapers attack, why they target us. It spouted something about order and chaos, and that without their interference, organics are doomed. So they kill us to save us? You've got to be kidding me.

Well, what's important is that it died, and the geth told me that the others are no longer influenced by the Reaper. Good. It suggested to upload the Reaper code to all geth, without loosing their independency, they'd be "alive" and their fleet could help us.

It's tempting to have both the quarian and geth fleet on our side, and I'm considering the option for a moment. Maybe get the quarians to back down.

But what if it lied again? What if they can still be influenced by the Reapers? What if they turn on us eventually?

No. I don't trust this whole thing. It's too dangerous, can't take that risk. I've seen enough hostile geth for a lifetime, and we will just need to manage without them.

Even though the geth pleads for me to reconsider, my decision is made. Its survival instinct kicks in and it attacks me, still trying to upload the Reaper code, but Tali helped me by putting a knife in its back.

Then I shot the geth. And the quarian fleet destroyed the geth ships. Too bad it ended like that, they could've been useful allies.

With one war less on our plates, Tali joined us again. Glad she reconsidered, she's a welcome addition to my team anytime.
Back on the Normandy I received a call from the asari Councilor and we agreed I'd visit her on the Citadel. I'm glad this whole Rannoch business is over. We have the quarian fleet and we can finally move forward.

I'm curious what the asari Councilor has for us that is so vital to the war effort, so we plotted course and I decided to check up on the crew in the mean-time.

It went pretty smooth again!

Ok, James went down during the Geth Prime fight and I had to medi-gel him back into action twice, but I managed to defeat them on the first try! I'm always scared of this fight :D

What was not so great... I totally fucked up one of the dialogue options. I forgot that when picking "Help us understand" when talking to the Reaper has Shepard say organics and synthetics can coexist, and that I can't pick the option "We'll destroy you eventually" anymore after that. That was a derp moment!

"Synthetics and organics can coexist!"

*kills geth right after that*

Hahaha. Oh well. But reloading meant dancing with the Reaper again. Meh, so I just went along with it.

So, after five months, I've finally had the motivation to play Mass Effect again. DAI took up most of my free time when I wasn't at school or work, and I just beat Fallout 3 again because of nostalgia and the upcoming release of Fallout 4.

Journal entry 1 of Marcus Shepard

Not long after I "inherited" the Normandy from Anderson, he sent me an email that further congratulated me on becoming a Spectre and the CO of the entire Normandy crew. In it, he also mentioned that I should keep a Journal of sorts; apparently, it helped him relieve stress and it's a good method of reflection. So, what the hell, why not.

Once we left the Citadel, I recieved word that there was some trouble at Terra Nova in the Exodus cluster. We soon discovered that a group of Batarians took over an Asteroid that was orignally mined for minerals by the colony. They activated the fusion torches and were trying to send the Asteroid toward the planet surface. As soon as we land on the Asteroid, a woman tries to make contact with us. After disabling the first torch, I find out that she's an engineer named Kate Bowman, and she's was trying to hide from the Batarians.

Unfortunately, she was found and captured after we disabled the second torch. Once we disabled the third and dealt with Charn, the second in command of the Batarian insurgents, we headed into the main complex. There, my team and I are confronted by Balak. He starts going off on a tanget about how our race is to blame for the Batarian's misfortune, and he was especially pissed about my involvement at Torfan. At this point, Balak demands that we let him go or he'll kill Kate and the other hostages. I didn't like sacrificing them, but there was no way I was letting this terrorist go so he could enact another attack. The mission ended with his death.

Undoubtably, the results of this mission will further increase my ruthless reputation, and I'm getting quite tired of being labled as such. Like before at Torfan, I did what I had to do. At least most of the crew have finally let go of that false assumption.

Now, we are on our way to the Artemis Tau cluster to acquire and question Benzia's daughter.

Brad Shepard (Sentinel):

1. Tried to exit the Citadel, but was not allowed until he visited the Citadel Council.

2. Talked to the Council. They agreed to help in their own special way: by telling Shepard how he can help himself. Just like old times.

3. Went to visit Kaiden in the hospital. He was still sleeping, so Brad rifled through his pockets for credits. (He will pay him back. Eventually.)

4. Went back to the Normandy, got some sleep, but had a bad dream.

5. Talked to some of the crew, sparred with James.

6. Traveled to Palaven, but stopped on its one of its moons, Menae, instead.

7. Repaired a communications tower, replaced Liara with Garrus (nice to see you again) while Liara rushed back to the Normandy to go check on a problem with EDI. Not sure what Liara can actually do in that situation since she is clearly unqualified and her biotics are more useful to a Sentinel than tech, but whatever.

8. Turret sequence (so boring): throw, throw, throw, throw, throw, throw, Dark Channel to mix things up a bit, maybe shoot because I am bored, throw, throw, throw, throw, throw...

Game glitches on me, Brute fails to spawn properly and I am stuck on the barricade with an invisible turret. Reload autosave.

Throw, throw, throw, throw, throw...

So dumb.

9. Listen to exposition.

10. Finally another fight! And its over. Greet the new Primarch and head back to the Normandy.

Law & Order Nos Astra

Starring: Naseen Shepard as himself, Justicar Samara as Justicar Samara, Jack as oh come on and Jacob as the black guy.

Still at Nos Astra, Thane set up shop in lifesupport.  Yeah totally makes sense, I hope he doesn´t have training how to use airborne poisons. :?  Ok he needs a dry room. Don´t we have some more regular quarters?   Ah no one wants to sleep in the pods.

Mails for today:

Mordin is developing a bioweapon

Firefight on engineering deck. Grunt and Zaeed got into an argument because Grunt ate all of chief Gardner´s gumbo. Bullets flew until jack shockwaved them both because she couldn´t sleep.

Joker complains about EDI

EDI informs me that she had to delete Joker´s porn to make room for data. It occupied 50% of the Normandy database. I am curious. What kind of? Oh Joker you are into that? I hope for you that Tali never finds out. What is Debbie does the consense? I don´t think an armature can actually do that. You perv. I hope TIM likes porn when he goes through his daily spyfiles. -_- EDI transfer some material in my blackmail folder in case Joker grows a spine and doesn´t want to pick me up out of a hot combat zone.

Chakwas informs me that she suspects that the beds in medbay were used for fraternizing. The sheets were crumpled when she came in this morning. Medbay? With these windows? Oh you can change the windows to opaque? Ok...makes sense, you don´t want the whole crew watching in horror when you go looking for a bullet in the chest. Especially when they are trying to eat.

Just another day on the Normandy. Let´s go get another housemate. :)

Because of his complaints about Thane I took Jacob with me. To make my point I invited jack to the party, too. Let´s see how he likes her watching his back.

Asked local police. Samara is at the spaceport. But I just came from the spaceport? Ah no, the other one. And someone got killed there?

We took a taxi and flew to that other port.

Met Det. Anaya. Seems to be one of the nicer cops. Must be hard to work as a police officer on Ilium. So her superiors want the justicar gone because she could kill some people commiting offenses against the codex. Hm yeah, read that charming book. I am surprised that Nos Astra doesn´t look like Tuchanka.

Told Anaya that her orders are stupid and will get her killed. Jacob used that for a joke. Ah I get it, he does this hostage training thing. Bonding with your hostage-taker so she sees you as a person and is less likely to shoot you. Good luck with that.

Was allowed to visit the crime scene. Eclipse is here? Ok, if anyone asks they shot first.

Met a flying Eclipse breaking her neck on the wall. Met Samara killing another asari. Charming, I like her as long as she is not trying to do the same with me. Told her that we fight the collectors and need her. She meant that the collectors are worthy enemies but she´s on a mission. What the... does everyone know more about them than me?

Anaya joined us and they talked about duty, honor, killing and death in the line of duty. Huh? When did this turn into some ancient samurai movie?  So Anaya has to arrest Samara and after a day Samara is allowed to kill her way out of prison? Asari are weird, why do they have a police when they set up organisations like spectres and justicars who don´t care about that stuff? For speeding tickets?

Ok Sam wants some data from Eclipse, Anaya doesn´t want to die and Sam has to go, I want Sam. Yeah I get the data for you Samara.

So we got the keys from some shifty cow eh a shifty Volus who made some really shady deals with Eclipse. He betrayed Eclipse and that´s what got his partner killed. I see. And super detective Shepard just had to pull out his gun and show it to the Volus to find out.

And every Eclipse mercenary has to kill someone when they join? Ok. And why doesn´t the police arrest them? Ah well, Asari. It´s probably ok if they kill someone nobody cares about or if you kill cops or superlegal monkcops kill you. Or a spectre has a bad day and a gun in his hand.

Jacob was a bit nervous. He mentioned that I am not a Spectre anymore and wouldn´t it be illegal to enter someone´s home/workplace and shoot them? The police knows that we were going there after all. No worries Jacob, we killed fifty or sixty people yesterday, we dug our hole so deep already, it doesn´t matter if we dig it any deeper. ^_^  Shut him up pretty quick.

Jack approves.

Let´s go investigate. We find out.

Eclipse doesn´t believe storing toxic substances in a safe environment. Yeah just plop it on the floor over there. What could possibly happen.

What else did we find out?

Asari mercenaries squeal like little girls when they are set on fire or kicked over a ledge, slammed on the floor... ripped on a molecular level or riddled with bullets. Good to know.

We found the evidence in the murder case and stopped the perpetrator from escaping. It could be that it wasn´t in that order exactly but the case is closed.Yes we used appropriate force. Yeah full auto from three weapons was totally necessary.

A gunship? Why does every criminal organisation pack firepower like it´s expecting a war ...or us. Yeah I know it´s a mercenary company but is Nos Astra a warzone?

Do you see us flying around in the Hammer!

Met a Volus who thinks he can do biotics. Seems Eclipse used him as a guinea pig or for entertainment. Asari maidens really behave like irresponsible teengirls.

Sent him to sleep. Was tempted to let him challenge the merc captain but no need to be mean. -_- Killed the merc captain of course, found the data Samara was after. I wonder if we could have simply asked or paid for the info but well bloodbath is done, no need to overthink it. And Wasea was high on something, she didn´t look like she was open to reason. or perhaps she was angry at us for killing all her men, eh women, eh I mean monogendered persons who just happen to look like females.

We left the crime scene and went back to the police station to turn ourselves in to pick up our new member. She´s not locked up? Oh even passive restraint demands her to kill everyone in the station. Should have told that to the cops at home when they locked me up in the bad old gang days.

Samara says she has to do something before she joins us, kneels down and does some weird biotic thing. She swore unquestioning obedience to me. Eh what? You do whatever I want? No I wasn´t thinking about that.

Sheesh, is everyone thinking about it all the time. I was just wondering if there are any limits like "I don´t throw the pilot out of the airlock, I am not your personal coffeefetcher, I am not killing someone, just because you are bored." Stuff like that. No I didn´t say that out loud. I mean lady, you don´t know me at all.

Oh ok, if she has to do something extremely dishonorable she will kill me after the mission. No problem, I have your instruction manual. ^_^ Eh I meant the codex.

After saying I am a very honorable man, no worries, I went outside to the Volus merchant and traded him the evidence about his shady deals that I found.

Morticia Shepard

went to Horizon

saw the collecotrs

we compared notes at who is the better collector. I collect models. They collect humans. That's not going to work. Bye, bye collectors

How's it going Ashley? Maybe next time we can sit down and have a beer

helped my number 1 fan, Conrad Verner. Too bad he's married.

Gianna Parasini. You're looking good.

Miranda's sister is safe

Samara has joined my team. Cool

Jack wants to blow up a building. Nothing exciting about that.

Jack and Miranda fight. Everyone gathers  to watch. Everyone place your bets. Well that stinks. No one won.  Maybe next time

Crew talk!

I had a chat with Admiral Hackett about our progress. While it's still not looking that positive, we've received more support from the other races, even the asari. Sounds good.

Then I had to ask Hackett why I was put in charge. I did not understand his reasoning that I'm the only soldier who knows how to kill Reapers, like I'm something special. Anyone good and lucky enough could kill a Reaper...

He mentioned Torfan and I was surprised that because of what I did there he thinks I'm the right choice to save the galaxy. That I made the tough call and got the job done. Huh... well, if he knew more he might not think like that. A lot of emotions were tied to Torfan, and not the good ones. But granted, they made me into what I am today.

Hackett also told me that you can't pay soldiers to believe. I didn't get it at first, but after listening to him talk about how my crew follows me anywhere because they believe in me I knew what he meant. I do have a loyal team, and they follow me through situations that could mean death anytime. We've already lost good people, and everyone is still ready to sacrifice their life for me, for this. And I really hope that we are up for it.

I went to the cockpit and EDI was devastated about loosing the geth. Well sorry, EDI, but I couldn't risk them turning to the Reapers again. She understood my reasoning. But she also questioned me if I trust her, being Cerberus technology and all, and she also said if I had to choose between saving her and Joker, I'd pick Joker. I wouldn't say it in front of her, but yeah, that's what I would do. I trust her to a certain extent, she saved our asses a lot of times and she's very useful, but in the end... well, not human.

James and Kaidan passed the time playing poker. Seems James got lucky with the last card and totally owned the Major (I love how Kaidan says "Sh*t" and "Can it, Lieutenant" here, it's so funny :)).

So James must be really good at poker, maybe we could play a round at some point (I used to play poker a couple years back, I kinda miss it whenever I see this scene :D).

Kaidan started talking about the geth. Didn't think he'd be that relieved to see them go. But then again, he was part of the team back then when we fought Saren and the geth.

Garrus was also pleased about my decision, and of course Javik as well, as expected.

Allers wanted another interview now that the war situation was resolved, and Tali was worrying about what to send to Rannoch now. Agriculture samples rather than technology. Seems like it's getting real for them. I just hope their ships are repaired soon now that we have their support. Tali assured me they'll be ready.

I invited Allers up to my cabin to have that interview. I kept my positive attitude in front of the camera. Whatever it takes, right?

It was interesting to see that the Paragon option "Sorry" when talking to EDI and Joker turned out to touch exactly my Shepard's reasoning for eliminating the geth.

Also, I once again noticed that I really love EDI's voice somehow!

Today I did Jacob's loyalty mission and oddly this was the first time I've ever left his Dad to the hell he created.

Saving Miranda´s sister but from whom?

Another day in the life of Naseem Shepard vas Normandy

Invited Kelly to dinner yesterday. Was a fun night, at least I think so. Seems I drank enough to black out.

Good Morning Normandy.

Morning stuff to get ready to face the day.

Coffee.

Flirting with Kelly. Yeah was a fun night. You wanna feed my fish? Is that some kind of innuendo? Do the cool kids of today say, wanna feed my fish?

You mean real fish? But I don´t have any?  Kelly insists that I really should get some fish, I am living in a cave. Something about that my cabin certainly needs a female touch. Eh I am not sure, Kelly, living pets and what if it gets destroyed? Hm what? My model ships on the rack are more dangerous but they are model... Fine fine, I get some fish so you can feed them. Wonder when she wants to move in. Probably just wants the keys so she can use my shower or so.

Mordin wants to talk with me? His assistant went missing? We are not a SaR ship. So this dude worked with you on the genophage? Potential security risk. Yeah ok, we look into it if we journey to Tuchanka but sry it´s not really on our route. perhaps you should call STG or so.

Miranda finally reached her contact. I accompanied her and Jacob offered to join us. Ok for me.

Miranda´s worries were justified. Daddy found his little girl. A childhood friend of hers is supposed to bring Miranda´s family to safety and we are the distraction? Hmm don´t like this. Oh they won´t shoot us. Well, haven´t killed anyone today on Ilium, time to start. ^_^

So we flew to the spaceport again in a skytaxi. As we approached our destination, Eclipse gunships were landing and dropping troops.I knew we should have taken the Hammer.  Miranda says something that she hopes she was right about them not wanting to shoot us.

Nope, you weren´t. Oh they stopped. Still our skycar sustained some damage and we landed quickly. An Eclipse officer came over and told us to get lost.

Oh so her sister is younger and Miranda stole Oriana when she was a baby?

Miranda? Are we the baddies? Ehm, I mean even more the bad guys than usual?

Oh but she´s eighteen now. Mr Eclipse tries to paint this whole thing as some kind of child rescue. What a load of crap. Eighteen is not a child anymore, if her father wanted her to visit him, he should have come here and talk to her instead of sending mercenaries. Dude tells us to get lost, he has his men in position there, there and there and Miranda is a crazy b**** Ok. Some people are too dumb to live, seems I get a my daily dose  of mayhem after all. Thanks for pointing out the targets. Miranda riddled him with bullets, Jacob and I took out the rest.

I get now how Garrus managed to annoy three merc companies. These guys are everywhere and it seems like they want to get killed.

So we gave them what they asked for and merrily killed our way through the cargo area, looking for Oriana and this Niket fellow. Miranda found a comlink and we listened to our enemies talking. Seems that Niket betrayed Miranda.

We finally found him and the captain of the dead stooges, an asari named Enyala, talking with a dock official. We join the merry band. The dock asari sees all the firepower we bring to the party and runs away. The captain shoots her. Oh come on. This was totally unnecessary. She hasn´t seen anything besides people carrying weapons. Who cares? I go shopping  with a rocket launcher on my back and no one objects. Murder draws more attention than other crime. Unless you are killing Eclipse or so and the justicar says fine job you did.

Miranda confronts Niket who goes all emo on her. You haven´t told me you abducted your sister (yes dude, it would have made you an accomplice), you haven´t told me you are working for Cerberus (yes dude, we are a secret thing unless we are not or we put the badge on our ship and our clothing because we are looking for someone to kill). Yeah ok, the last point is rather weak.  but in most jurisdictions, knowingly keeping contact with a terrorist/criminal would be trouble.

Ah ok, we get to the core issue. You are poor and you wanted the money, and no one besides you knows something about Oriana and her family? Kill him Miranda, he begs for it.

Yes that´s my girl. ^_^ Even Enyala approves but she still wants to pick a fight and tells Miranda she dresses like a hooker. Well she has a point. How about some under... Stop glaring at me, she said it!

Cerberus is always glad to help if you want to die and so we killed them all. Found some trinket lying around, pretty.

Afterwards we checked on Miranda´s sister. Miranda doesn´t want to talk to her at first but I encouraged her to go meet her.

Don´t need another mopey squadmate on the ship. -_-

Meanwhile I met an asari woman which looked like the one on the picture in the trinket. What a coincidence. Perhaps I should take a deeper look at this fate, destiny and religion thingy. Gave her the trinket, she gave me 500 credits. ^_^ Nice.

Went to buy some fish before Kelly starts nagging again. The vendor lady had a romantic problem. With a krogan? Told her to put an end to it. Thanked me for the advice and gave me a discount. Nice. Wow, fish are expensive.

Back on the ship I had to check on Grunt. Seems he´s even more violent than normal. he could be sick or so but no one knows. The krogans keep their medical data secret. Yeah understandable. Seems we have to fly to Tuchanka after all unless I want to dump a crewmate who doesn´t know anything about the galaxy and owns nothing but his armor somewhere. And that´s not my cup of tea.
