Lol, are you taking it with the in-game screenshot command?
Nah, fraps.
i forgot how tedious the first section of the Citadel is. And also the weird dramatic music that plays when the attempt to get Saren disbarred fails. It's very weird.

Still being 100% paragon, even to Harkin (that took some doing I can tell you).
You know, I had a run through ME2 end game on an old char the other day and apart from the more numerous BEs in ME3, generally the combat in ME2 feels better.
Yeah, I really liked the combat mechanics in ME2. ME3 is a lot more polished, but a lot of the changes and additions to the ME3 combat mechanics feel... I don't know, half-baked at times.
(Aaaah! Just writing this comment makes me want to go back to play ME2... but I would need to play ME1 first. I have a few new Shepards in mind.)
Are you using the Hauppauge? Sometimes when I try to upload directly from the capture software it craps out, and sometimes it succeeds in uploading, only to have the video fail to process. At that point I convert it to WMV format an upload.
I use the Hauppauge, but I don't know what you mean by trying to upload directly from the capture software. The video files come out as MP4 files, and that is what I tried to upload.
What I ended up doing was processing them through Windows Movie Maker and saving them "For YouTube" which cuts down the file size. I uploaded them separately. My Internet crapped out after uploading the second video (stuck on "Processing 0%"; I hate it when that happens), but they are now both up.

I know the feeling! I've been listening the ME trilogy soundtrack on youtube and it's making me want to play again. Just need to tear myself away from Thedas first.....

The opening on the Citadel remains one of my favourite sections.
It shows that human concerns, your concerns, just really aren't that important to the other races.
That's what Mass effect 1 got across so well. Humanity wasn't this awesome uber force.
Today I got all excited when Nihlus told me this was going to be the first of several missions together, because I wanted to hang out with that sexy turian. Then he went all lone wolf and got oneshot by Saren. What a scrub
Oh don't get me wrong, I agree - certainly on the first or second playthroughs. After that it is mainly a whole lot of running from point a to b to c to a.The opening on the Citadel remains one of my favourite sections.

The first thing I do is run around and activate all the quick travel terminals I can. Not a lot of running around after that.
Brad Shepard (Marksman Sentinel) met with Ann Bryson on the Citadel, who was understandably upset that her father was dead. But she agreed to help find Leviathan by putting herself in harms way to become possessed by Leviathan so we could track him down. So Brad, EDI, and James -- with no other options -- let her do it. After getting a general idea where Leviathan was, they shut it down and went hunting.
They eventually found Leviathan's location, whereby they were promptly shot down by a strange pulse. A Reaper flew in and starting dropping ground troops to try and kill everyone but Shepard was too good and killed them all first. Then Shepard hopped in a re-skinned Atlas mech Triton mech, and dove under water to find Leviathan. He did, and it was huge. Leviathan's buddies were also huge.
After somehow convincing Leviathan to join the war (it may or may not have involved sexual favors; don't tell Liara), they hightailed it out of there.
I used the Revenant this time. Still trying to find a weapon I like using with Marksman.
Thessia.
Today, I can understand having Liara lose her grip on things upon seeing Thessia being torn apart but I can't bring myself to feel the way Bioware tries to tell us Shepard does. Up until then, we had started off pretty bleakly, but got the Turians, then the Krogans, the Quarians, the Salarians, and the Asari on-board.
What for is Shepard moping about, feeling sorry for herself, taking it as being her job to know that Cerberus would commandeer a freaking gunship in Asari airspace?
A setback at some point was very much expected, wasn't it? So, what's with all the drama? What's with looking emptily at the blinking call from the Asari councilor?
Why should I feel so damn guilty that somehow 'I let her down'? I didn't let her down; I was there, I fought, it's not over yet.
After doing all of that, coming this far, am I about to let that little piece of sh*t a**-kisser continue to think the sun shines out of his butt?!
Shooting at that gunship, my Shepard would be telling Kai Leng "Yeah you better run motherf*cker! Coz I will hunt your sorry a** down! You better keep running!"
I'm getting close to finishing ME1 and starting ME2. I have a number of options but would like to ask for some input. This play through is basically a disaster run where a max number of people are killed. But not because I'm a complete psycho. Some deaths are out of cruelty but many are like Riddick killing a threat while others happen despite my best intentions. And finally some happen because I just really messed up like the characters in Dumb and Dumber. So having said that I'm wondering where the following characters should be killed, ME2 or ME3. I also list where I'm leaning.
Miranda - ME3
Tali - ME3
Legion - ME3
Grunt - ME3
Samara - ME3
Thane - ME3
Zaeed - ME3
Jack - ME2
Jacob - ME2
Mordin - ME2
Garrus - ME2
Kasumi - ME2

I believe it was Themikefest that did a Killer Shepard route. They'd be a decent advisor.

My differences would be
Kasumi - ME3 (would require you to forego using the Locust)
Zaeed - ME2
Thane - ME2
Mordin - ME3 (be sure to save the cure data so you are forced to shoot him.)
Jack - ME3 (if you're willing to skip Grissom, otherwise ME2)
Isn't it hard to keep Kasumi alive in ME2 unless you do her loyalty mission? And if you do the loyalty mission she lives in ME3. So how can you do that unless you skip recruiting her till after the suicide mission?

Depends if you want to see their death or not. For example, you can skip out on recruiting Samara and Thane altogether. (And since Thane was never recruited and you killed Kirrahee, the Salarian councillor will die. Uh..., spoilers?)
Jack in ME2, easily if you do not upgrade the Normandy. Although I prefer killing her myself in ME2 by skipping Grissom Academy. Same with "Legion" if you give him to Cerberus in ME2.
I think you can only kill Grunt in ME3 if you do not do his loyalty mission in ME2. Same with Kasumi.
Easiest to have Kasumi killed in ME2 if you do not upgrade the Normandy shields (do not upgrade or do not recruit Tali at all).
Might be better to kill Mordin in ME3 than ME2; with Wrex dead (Wreav alive), makes it easier to shoot Mordin to prevent the genophage from begin cured, although you will need to keep Maelon's research data in ME2. With Wrex dead and no research data, you can convince Mordin to live, although you could probably ignore the Charm+Intimidate options and shoot him anyway.
Definitely kill Jacob in ME2. He does volunteer for vent duty after all.
I agree with Miranda in ME3.
@Goodmongo:
Let Miranda die in ME2 then you "fail" to save Oriana and she dies together with Daddy Lawson on Horizon.
Tonight I did a whole lot of running around, a whole lot of pointing guns at people and a whole lot of being a girl scout. Ugh.
Goes so much quicker when you don't take a screenshot every 10 seconds ![]()

Good point. So this is what I came up with.
Characters marked with * are loyal
Characters killed before final assault:
Garrus(* optional, doesn't matter) - Vents
Jacob - 2nd fire team lead
Thane(* optional, doesn't matter) - seeker swarm - Miranda does the bubble, second team mate can be anyone
Hold the line team
Miranda* = 2
Grunt = 3
Legion* = 2
Samara* = 2
Kasumi = 0
Zaeed = 3
HTL score = 12 / 6 squad mate >= 2 everyone lives
Mordin* - escort
Shepard's final team - Tali*, Jack*
Miranda dies on Horizon because you do not give her Alliance resources
Kasumi dies during the Jondum Bau mission
Zaeed dies during the Din Korlack mission
Jack gets turned into a phantom
Grunt dies fighting the Rachni
Samara shoots herself
Tali dies when you side with the Geth
Legion dies when he commits suicide to give the reaper code to the other geth (for added pathos, pick destroy)
Mordin is shot by Shepard at the Shroud
Ashley is shot by either Shepard or a team mate (don't visit her in the hospital)
Tonight I did a whole lot of running around, a whole lot of pointing guns at people and a whole lot of being a girl scout. Ugh.
If you were trying to be a girl scout, why did you bring Wrex on the Fist mission? I had Kat Shepard not recruit Wrex until he accosted us at the elevator because there is no way she would have put up with Wrex shooting Fist (and because Wrex makes a better case why he should be on the team at the elevator).

Miranda - ME3
If you like, have Miranda die in ME2 and then let her sister, Oriana, and father die in ME3
Ashley is shot by either Shepard or a team mate (don't visit her in the hospital)
Ashley can be shot even if Shepard visits her in the hospital. Just ignore first interrupt that pops up and choose either the bottom right or top right dialogue
