These are some great suggestions.  Miranda will die in ME2.  I have decided on a few others.

Mordin will die in ME2 because this allows me to shoot the other Salarian and net 2 deaths that way.

I'm trying not to kill my team members but instead have them die for other reasons.  Sort of like having Ash shoot Wrex instead of me shooting him.  So I'm leaning away from killing Zaeed during his loyalty mission but instead he can die during the Volus mission in ME3.  I am grateful for all the suggestions.

Well, you can't kill Zaeed in his loyalty mission. You leave him behind to die in a lovely BBQ which is his own doing. But I guess some people could see that as killing him  :P

Oh wow, I can't believe I managed the first part of the Citadel DLC without dying today (a few near-death encounters though ^_^)!

I was struggling a lot with my Engineer last time. Though to be fair, I did cheat a bit and read about tackling the first 2 mercs on the left in the restaurant, and that's what I tried. It worked, but I noticed I really need to improve headshotting (...and shooting in general) for the next time, haha.

My bonus power Energy Drain really came in handy here too :)

Here are the videos:

Spoiler

As soon as we arrived at the Citadel, I visited Anderson's apartment as per Hackett's request. When I entered I was quite amazed how big this place was. Not bad.

Traynor informed me that Anderson wanted to talk and patched him through. He actually wants me to have the apartment. Wait, what? I couldn't accept something like that, but he insisted, so I humbly accepted. What a pleasant surprise. I didn't have my own place for a long time now, it's... nice.

Afterwards I checked out this place a bit and saw that I had received a dinner invitation from Joker. Sushi place. Well, not my favourite, but dinner sounds good. Looking forward to it.

When I arrived at the restaurant Joker was already waving at me and I sat down at his table. We drank a bit and were chatting, just finding out that we both received an e-mail from the other about dinner which we clearly didn't sent, when someone called Maya Brooks, Alliance Intelligence, approached us. She was all agitated and told me someone tried to kill me.

No news for me. But this time, it was someone else, a different group. And someone has been hacking my account, personal records and all. Damn it! What the hell could they want? Just when Brooks was about to tell us what she knew, merceneries came in and caused some havoc in the restaurant. Joker and I hid, but Brooks was caught, so I told Joker to get the rest of the crew while I try to rescue her.

My plan worked, Joker was seen by one of the mercs and I could knock him out and grab his gun. It's a weird feeling shooting with a different gun, but I managed to kill off the rest of the mercs and ran to Brooks. I applied medi-gel and thought we were safe, when a laser pointed at me. Sh*t. Brooks pushed me out of harm's way and was shot herself, then that a**hole shot at the fish tank beneath me. The glass shattered and I landed a long ways down. That hurt, but I think I can go on.

Brooks contacted me and I told her I saw some skycars across, and a landing pad. I'll try to get there. On my way I was contacted by Liara and EDI, so Joker had reached the crew, good.

I managed to get to the carlot relatively unharmed, killing more mercs on the way, and met up with Liara there. She made some comment about liking my outfit. Liara, you've seen me wear this about a hundred times already, and now is certainly not the time to think about things like that... And why the hell are you even thinking about that in the first place? I'm still not interested in you. (Was I too nice to her again or is that really her normal comment when Shepard's not romancing anyone?)

After Liara kindly asked the volus inside Cision Motors to open the gate for us we approached the landing pad, ready to be picked up by Joker. But a different shuttle arrived, with more mercs. I got us into cover and then heard James's voice above us. When I looked up I saw him aiming a rocket launcher at the shuttle, taking it out nice and clean. Hell yeah, Vega, good job!

I ordered James to come down and join us and he was all excited about what he just did. I hadn't seen him that enthusiastic yet, he was like a little kid, and it warmed my heart to see him like that. But the mercs didn't give us any pause. We got ready and fought more of them while we waited for Joker to arrive with the shuttle.

Upon returning to my new apartment, Brooks, Liara, James and I discussed how to proceed. Liara had Glyph help her with getting intel on the gun I got from the merc.

The rest of the squad arrived and I started talking to them while Liara was busy to find something on that gun. James mentioned casually how he rescued me from certain death. Yes, you did, and I owe you one. I wanted to say something, but then he proceeded with how Brooks is kinda cute and wonders if she's on the market. I rolled my eyes and left, do you have a thing for every female you encounter?

After I spent some more time chatting to the remaining crew, Liara told me she found something.

Okay, so let's hear it...

Grabbed some pics:

Spoiler

Sooo, does anyone know why EDI was the 2nd squad mate to contact me? Can't be the mission counter, I never used her.

Also, I was pleasantly surprised when I read some weeks ago that James will appear with the rocket launcher when Wrex is dead, I made some good decisions for my current run

I am not sure why James didn't call. He should have been the one, though his comments are rather dull compared to EDI's.

Liara always says the same thing regardless of romance or not.

I was hoping the whole time he'd do it. Oh well. Maybe it's because he had to do Wrex's part?

Correct, it is the MEUITM mod.
I'm not going to be as screen shot obsessive this time as it takes far too long.
Maybe just a few (Ha! Famous last words).

It did turn out to be that mod.

Seems I hadn't looked for an update for a while as I was still using version v060214. Things have really improved a lot.

Today I tried continuing my new ME3 run but my heart just isn't in it. Honestly it feels like a chore, even with the new lines I am getting from having people killed off.

Finally got around to finishing my Insanity Run...

RJ Shepard launches an attack on TIM's base, Bringing EDI and Kaidan, where she learns several things: That she really was truly dead, not near dead. that her fellow Akuze survivor she found three - almost four when she gets to thinking about it - years ago was telling the truth that the Thresher attack was Cerberus planned, and that she was truly just a pawn, a set piece. She also learned that EDI was the Rouge VI on Luna she was asked to take down, and how she used seven zetabytes of explicit data to keep Cerberus from taking control.

After crawling through the remains of the human reaper she destroyed, she finally gets to fight Kai, and rapidly defeats him with tech and the powerful M-7 Lancer. when he tries to take her out in a last ditch effort, RJ breaks his sword and stabs him, and finally avenges Thane.

In final preparation, she fully upgrades the M-99 Saber and sets herself up with one that has a thermal scope. She catches Tali and Garrus in the Main Battery, where they tried to make up a story on the spot. RJ tries not to laugh at the scene and merely says she's happy for them. Just before they make their way to Earth, Admiral Hackett comes aboard and gives a fancy speech.

After entering the Sol System, and getting the reports that everyone has arrived, Shepard recounts a poem she long ago memorized, (If interested, look up 'I have a Rendezvous with Death', very fitting for the Shepard) then gives the order for the battle to commence. She takes Tali and Javik down to the planet to take down the Hades Cannon, using one Cain for it, and another Cain for the Banshee that arrives. (Such a powerful boom, Jack would approve) After being picked up, she is grateful to see Anderson in person, and gives him a buddy hug.

As the team gives good lucks and farewells, she takes Kaidan and Liara to lead the charge. although using the Saber as a sniper can be useful, it is no where near as powerful, she discovered, mildly irritated by that but deals with her choice. finding two missle tanks and the unit in charge of them dead, she contacts EDI and makes a final stand. after the first set misses, RJ and her team dance around Brutes and Banshees, waiting for the Reaper to get close enough.

Exhausted, Shepard joins Hammer in the final charge to the beam, where Kaidan and Liara are badly hurt. the Normandy comes in for a pick up. after reminding Kaidan that she will always love him, she sends them off, then makes one last charge, only for Harbinger to finally land a shot at her.

near death, Shepard manages to get aboard the Citidel, along with Anderson, and makes her way slowly to the control room. there TIM shows himself, talking similarly to how Seran had talked when he was indoctrinated. even though TIM made her shot Anderson, Shepard manages to get through to TIM, who, in a brief moment of personal control, ends his own life.

Shortly after Anderson passes on, RJ tries to crawl back to the control panel. from there she found herself in a strange area. after talking to the AI known as the Catalyst, Shepard weighs her choices.

The rest is lost to history ;)

And in Game, the London mission i died 13 times. Five of them was getting to the missile trucks, another five defending the missile trucks, and three just trying to get to the beam. not bad for Insanity.

It is probably related to not having Wrex. The one time I had James make the call I am pretty sure I had Wrex around.

Not much, really.

Two days ago I transfered Ryou Shepard from ME2 to ME3.

Since them, I did the initial missions, rescued the turian primarch, met Edi´s new body and then returned to the citadel.

So I realized that during the time I spent playing ME 1 and 2 my galaxy readiness level dropped entirely. So today I did a few missions and managed to get it back to around 75%.

Tomorrow I plan to do more side-missions on the citadel (including recruiting 2 more engineers), and then meet javik.

My left arm need a break after playing as a Sith Warrior (that's why I hardly play Adept or Engineer... I have enough of these hotkeys with Dragon Age and tOR) and I am depressed because yesterday I should be at a stadium and listening to a lot of video game music....... so I'm back with Mass Effect 3, NG++ run with Rev, you can't go wrong with your canon Shepard. This time it was an Infiltrator with Marksman. LoL. Now I understand why everyone love Adrenaline Burst. Insanity turned to super easy very quick. Headshots galore~~~~

- Found Jacob at a lab. His girlfriend sounds really familiar but I juuuust can't place her.
- Had a bunch of Quarian admirals on board
- Tali's an Admiral! Good for her.
- Take out a Geth Dreadnought? Well, all right.
- Heh, windows
- Rannoch's a busy place
- Eh, I'm not sure about getting hooked up to an AI, Legion. The last time that happened I almost died.
- Oh, look! It seems the war isn't as one-sided as the Quarians would have you believe. Imagine that.
- Holy crap, the Primes are really huge!
- But seriously, tell me when you're going to do stuff like that, Legion.
- Why did I stop on this ledge with no cover to take out a Reaper?!
- Yep, almost died.
- Yeah, yeah, tell Harbinger I said hi.
- I let Legion upload Reaper code. Is that a good idea?
- Oh, Legion. You were a good AI.
- Hey, Grunt! So, Rachni, right?
- This place is disgusting.
- Goody. Talking through dead guys again.
- If you get caught a third time I'll probably kill you then. Maybe. I don't know.
- Sorry, Grunt.
- Grunt lives!
- Eww, Rachni blood.
- Asari Ambassador wants to see me. Time to get back to the Citadel.

Liara traced the gun to a Casino owner, Elijah Khan. She also showed us a call from Khan to an unknown person... our identity thief. So Khan's definitely in for questioning, a small team to not cause any ruckus. Conveniently there was a charity event hosted there this very evening.

After seeing the Casino's plans and that we needed someone to go through an airshaft, we discussed who should be said person. Tali and EDI are out of the question, too much tech, like everyone else small enough. Except Brooks, so congratulations, you got the part.

Liara mentioned the last hurdle was we'd have to dress up. So it's a formal Casino date with...

My eyes immediately darted over to James, because... I don't really know, but I guess because of my past with Kaidan I didn't want to go with him. Would be kinda awkward. And I was so used to being around James because of our missions together that it just felt right I guess.

Anyway, the plan was set, but I really didn't like I had to wear a dress once again in order to blend in, just like I had to back when I helped Kasumi on Bekenstein... Dresses and me just don't get along. Oh well, it's not like I can get out of this now.

Once ready to go I made my way to the Casino entrance, looking around. Ah, there he is.

James, wow. He looks really good, all dressed up! I never really thought about it until now, but he actually is a quite attractive man.

We both complimented each other and Brooks steered him in the right direction, "accessorizing" us a little. Good idea, Lady. He hooked his arm under mine as we walked in. It was actually kinda fun to pretend we were on a nice date even though that's usually not my thing, but of course work called soon enough. After mingling a bit among the other guests, we met with Brooks at the ventilation shaft and I disabled the alarm for her to get through.

To blend in again we danced a bit and then left to mingle some more on the lower floor.

I had to distract a guard in order for Brooks to proceed above us, then disable a pair of sensors while James was distracting more guards and after stalling another guard to clear Brooks we finally made it to the last hurdle. The area in front of the hallway leading to Khan's room was small and two guards were covering the area, as well as two cameras. Gotta make this quick. James, I'm counting on you...

I waited for the right moment for one guard to turn his back on me and signaled James to distract the other. I almost had to actually laugh, hearing Vega accuse the "pervo" guard of staring at his chica's ass was really amusing. But I needed to focus, so after disabling the first camera I turned my attention to the second, then proceeded into the hallway to bypass the sensor power box.

Okay, we were in. Khan sat on his chair facing away from us. After he didn't react James went up to him and we found Khan dead... So much for that. In that moment a figure popped up on a screen above us... the one behind this all. After that little chat I ordered Brooks to extract Khan's data drives, in hope that EDI could find something of value in there. We returned to the apartment and I was glad I'd get out of this awful dress soon.

After our little casino adventure James flirted with me again, saying I should be careful as he's getting ideas when a girl takes out a guy on a hot date. Within Alliance regs of course... Aww, he's so serious about that. Always so flirty, but then when it comes to it... I must admit I am kinda tempted to provoke him out of his shell... But now is really not the time for this.

I checked up on the rest of the guys when Brooks informed me she and EDI got something. Good, maybe we can finish this soon...

Bwahaha, Shepard at her best:

"The last guy that tried to trash-talk me was a few kilometres taller than you."

Completed that first ever playthrough as a pure Soldier. Inspired by Rabid Squirrel Gaming's youtube playthrough, I appreciated the significance of picking James and Ashley, the 2 human squaddies, for the push in the London epilogue. Full Soldier squad too.

I still didn't like that it was Hackett who addressed the fleet when I put the *whole* thing together. No matter how awesome the voice actor, having him also talking through the second by second move of the crucible reminded me of that movie where the POTUS was reading out weather reports.

Shepard walking around when addressing her team... felt like she was giving a TEDtalk.
Jennifer Hale is so worth better than this. Where oh where was that Epic speech into the odyssey when we took charge of SR1?

I just use the N7HQ and do a set of one hour missions twice a day. Takes about a minute total and my Readiness stays around 85%, which is good enough for the 'Winning in Key Sectors' info.

I would love for Bioware to release something so we could lock our Readiness.

Ilos and beyond.  Yesterday I finished ME1 with my soldier character.  My goal was to have max deaths but not be a psycho killer.  Deaths would be due to legitimate causes, omissions or simple mistakes.

So Liara, garrus and I land on Ilos and almost catch Saren under the Mako.  He gets away and seals the door.  After some fighting I find the control center.  I also came across the Prothean warning.  On the way to catch Saren I come across an AI named Vigil that really fills me in on all the missing Reaper strategy and the Prothean attempts to defeat them.  I continue fighting till I get to the conduit which is simply a small mass relay the Protheans made to get to the Citadel.

Upon arrival the battle had already started.  I had to race to find Saren.  Along the way Joker contacts me and says he's got a whole Alliance fleet and wants to know what my orders are.  Garrus and I are in agreement that the fleet has to wait to go after Soverign.  It might get caught up fighting the Geth and lose too much to win.  The Destiny Ascension was unfortunately destroyed in the battle.

I make it to the control center and open up the arms to allow the Alliance fleet to attack.  The entire fleet without any losses were having trouble even denting Soverign.  At that point Saren shows up and we battle it out.  He takes a few hits and crashes through the glass floor.  Garrus goes down to him and puts another slug into his head.  After that Soverign takes control over his body and a hard fight ensures.  But we defeat him/it and this causes Soverign to lose it's barriers.  The fleet takes full advantage and blasts Soverign to bits.

Now with Saren dead and Soverign defeated Udina and Anderson ask for my input on a new council.  I was about to suggest all races participate when even Anderson suggested that only humanity will fight the Reapers in the upcoming war.  It makes sense to me and recent history backs this up.  Udina wanted to be the council leader but I picked Anderson because we need a military person to lead us in a time of galactic war.  And with that the story ends for now.  Hopefully my warning will be taken seriously and everyone will prepare.

Highlights of ME1:

I lost Wrex who was shot by Ashley, Kaiden and Jenkins.  Other significant losses included the council, Cpt. Kirrahe, the Rachni queen, Zhu's Hope colony, the majority of the security forces at Peak 15, Parasini, Analolis, Sterling, Shiala, Jeong and Inamorda.  Other deaths include The scientist Toombs was holding, Helena Blake and all other criminals, Kyle and his followers, Darius, Chorban, Dr. Ross, the leader and the thugs holding Burns, Rana, Charn, Balak,  Saleon, Finch, and all the monkeys.

I ended up with about 90% renegade but also had just over 50% paragon.  My LI was Liara.  All deaths were justified with them either pulling a gun on me or shooting first.  Others died at the hands of my teammates.  And now for ME2.

Spoiler

Brooks found out that the mercs that tried to kill me had been ordering a lot of firepower, including heavy mechs. How nice.

In that moment Glyph informed us that my Spectre access code had just been used in the Citadel archives. Okay, so we know where to head to put an end to this. I'm gonna have a few words with that person.

I turned around to gear up when a volus stood right in front of me, with a pizza. Instinctively I looked at James, he said he was hungry before. Yup, got that one right.

Brooks said the archives are huge and that it's a shame we can't bring everyone. Hm... why the hell not? We're a team after all. My squad agreed, and James brought up the apparently most interesting question for the guys - who's going with me. Some were very eager to join, but James, Javik and I have been through quite some tough situations together, and we learned to read each other in combat perfectly. Sorry folks...

I told James he can eat his pizza on the way to the archives, we need to go.

Once we arrived we made a not so subtle entrance due to James's explosives. Always the man for sheer force.

Through the hole we got into the archives and had a surprise committee waiting for us (so surprising I even forgot to activate James's squad ammo... -_-).

We killed them and were greeted by the culprit behind this all... another me... a clone made by Cerberus, created for spare parts. This is way too crazy, how did all of this happen?! She wants to kill us because she doesn't have my memories, which wouldn't fool my friends obviously.

The clone started to insult James (poor Vega "You're just a farmboy who lost his pitchfork" :D) and said how she's me without the wear and tear, doubts, failures, and without the emotional baggage holding her back. My team.

Well, she has a point as I really let them way too close, much closer than I had initially wanted, but... I don't worry about that anymore, they're a good team, they're my team. No way I'm letting her get away with that.

I wanted the Normandy into lockdown, so I transmitted the command codes, but the other me was prepared and blocked the signal. And now she has the code, deceiving Traynor into getting the Normandy ready to leave. Damn it.

Garrus created a distraction from higher ground and while the clone fled the scene, we dealt with the remaining mercs (again forgetting about James's squad ammo...). A wild chase through the archives began, the rest of the team splitting up, backing up James, Javik and me. Glyph updated us on the clone's position and we fought many mercs and an Atlas too, until we finally caught up with the clone (and somewhere along the way I even finally discovered I have James's squad ammo!).

We, and according to the other me the rest of my guys were trapped by her and Brooks betrayed us in this instant... sh*t, how could I so easily trust her? Feels like lately I'm letting my guard down too much... Granted, she did play her part well, pretending to be Alliance and all.

Eventually we were transported to the vault, locked inside a capsule. I called Glyph and we got out in no time. We met up with Joker and the others and Joker took James, Javik and me to the Normandy with a shuttle.

Just you wait, you...

Aaah, all this great banter today! I love Citadel DLC. Click here for lots of banter and pictures, haha.
