I don't know what I will do with Sandra,  it will either be control or synthesis.  I have done all three endings with different characters I know she won't pick destroy (she is more AI sympathetic than Tyson was) but I am not sure what fits her personality more.

I'm also still torn about Idan, either Control or Destroy with under 3100 EMS. It all depends on if I will let Tali live :D

Bruno Shepard stopped a Geth incursion into the Armstrong Cluster. He found some Geth data at the last Geth base and gave a copy of it to Tali. Then it was back to the Citadel where he gave an interview to a reporter, told Garoth about his dead brother, and then confronted Nassana Dantius about her lies. Then it was back to the Normandy and off to Noveria.

So glad to be done all the side missions (for now) and ready to get back to the main story missions.

I had a very strange day on the Collector Ship today. Ran into a bug I had not seen before where I could not move, aim or fire, but I could look around. I also had my squad mates lock up on me a couple of times.

Bruce Shepard landed on Noveria to follow up on a lead about Saren, only to immediately get into a confrontation with port security. Luckily the situation was resolved before it came to bloodshed. After talking with port administrator's assistant, Gianna Parsini, it was discovered that Benezia was on Noveria and had gone up to Peak 15. Liara was concerned that Shepard would not trust her, but Shepard assuaged her concerns.

But then Shepard was stonewalled by bureaucracy and refused access to Peak 15. Parsini pointed Shepard in the direction of Lorik Quinn, who informed Shepard that he had evidence that the administrator was corrupt but that the administrator was now ransacking his office looking for the evidence. Lorik offered a garage pass in exchange for the evidence. Shepard found that agreeable.

Shepard managed to convince some of the guards to leave quietly, but other guards came out shooting. Shepard put them all down. Shepard found the evidence, then was accosted by more guards. Sargent Sterling was not a very nice person. Shepard tried to be nice to her; she was mean and tried to kill Shepard. Shepard left her as a rotting corpse.

After leaving Lorik's office, Parsini met him and told him to meet her before talking with Lorik. Shepard did so and she told him that she was actually Internal Affairs and wanted Lorik to testify against the administrator. Shepard managed to convince Lorik to testify and Parsini had the administrator arrested.

With garage pass in hand, Bruce Shepard went into the garage and was immediately ambushed by Geth because of course he was. He then took a Mako (how convenient one was available in the garage) and drove to Peak 15, destroying a bunch of Geth and turrets along the way. Then he killed some more Geth and a few Krogan that were waiting for him.

Once inside Peak 15, it was clear something was very wrong. They killed some more Geth, but then they were attacked by giant bugs. Shepard repaired the station's V.I. and discovered that Benezia had gone on to Rift Station. The tram to the station was locked down, and he needed to repair the reactor and landlines before he could proceed. He killed some more bugs and Geth, made the repairs, then headed to the station.

Once at the station, he discovered that the bugs had been attacking the lab for days. He then found out that the bugs were actually Rachni, a race thought killed to extinction by the Krogan. Turns out they had found a Rachni egg and hatched it. The hatched Ranchi turned out to be a Rachni Queen who then bred other Rachni. Those Rachni then went insane and starting killing everyone. Great.

Shepard found a Dr. Cohen and several sick scientists. Apparently the scientists had been working on a biological weapon and were working on a cure, but were infected before they could synthesize a cure when the station's V.I. was automatically shut down. Shepard went and created a cure, but then was ambushed by some Asari and Geth working for Benezia. Apparently Benezia was aware Shepard was coming and wanted him dead.

Shepard then went down into the Hot Labs where the Rachni were bred. He set the Neutron Purge to kill the remaining Rachni, then went back to Rift Station. Back at Rift Station, all the soldiers -- under orders from Benezia -- tried to kill Shepard. Shepard fought his way all through the station to get to Benezia. Benezia was less then pleased to see Shepard alive and not even the sight of her daughter could persuade her to stand down. Shepard was forced to kill several waves of Asari commandos and Geth troops before Benezia managed to get herself under control and tell Shepard that she had been indoctrinated by Saren and was only able to resist for short periods of time. She managed to give Shepard some information about locating Saren before she attacked Shepard again. This time Shepard killed her.

After an interesting... chat... with the Rachni Queen, Shepard let the Rachni Queen go free and then headed back to the Normandy.

Some other notes about this mission:

1. Previously I had lucked out and gotten a Nexus Omni Tool (Bruno Shepard is an Engineer). On this mission I lucked out and got a Serrice Council Omni Tool. Sweet!

2. I was trying to trigger the scenario where Inamorda attacks Shepard, but he never attacked me, so I think I did it wrong. I should have looked up how to do it beforehand; I was trying to do it from memory (I have never done it before). But I still have not told Opold that I gave the mod to Anoleas so maybe I have to do that first.

3. I used the dialogue glitch with Quin so I could get more paragon points. This unlocked the last few boxes in Charm so I could finish maxing it out and also unlocked the Paragon-unique mission. Hopefully I can finish the unlocked secondary missions tonight so I can complete Feros tomorrow. Mass Effect 1 is more fun when you are not grinding away on uncharted worlds.

So yesterday Bruno Shepard exterminated some Rachni infestations on a couple of planets, then took out a space ship full of Rachni. Today, he landed on Nonuel (home of the Renegade-only mission which he cannot access) and killed a couple of Thresher Maws. Then he landed on Chohe, saved a bunch of drugged-up scientists from biotic extremists, killed another Thresher Maw, and then killed some random mercs who were on the planet for no apparent reason.

Next, after a quick pit stop at the Citadel for some supplies, he will head out to Feros to follow up on reports of Geth activity.

Small change in plans: on his way to Feros, Bruno Shepard stopped at Pinnacle Station and completed a few missions.

I do not hate Pinnacle Station, but some of the missions can be grueling, and sometimes I swear the scoring system is broken. For example, I needed about 50 kills for the Hunt mission on Volcanic. Could not manage it on insanity, dropped it down to Veteran so I could be it. Back on Insanity, did the Hunt mission on Subterranean. Got almost 230 kills in a match that lasted anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes. I should have just let myself get killed to finish it quickly.

I just spent an hour and a half fighting turrets for those damn data packets in the Overlord Hammerhead section on Insanity difficulty while listening to Better Call Saul reviews on youtube. I'm almost through with the game, and this is the only time the awesomeness that is ME2 on Insanity has faltered and instead become ridiculously unfair and annoying.

I recommend ignoring those in future playthroughs. There is no reward for getting all six Cerberus data packets. If there is, it is too small to be noticeable. I am so glad I stopped looking for those; saves you a lot of time.

The only time I collected those packets was to get the trophy.

Bruno Shepard completed a bunch of missions at Pinnacle Station, taking top spot in eight missions. Took that accomplishment and shoved it up that smug Turian's face. How do you like that, buddy? How does it feel to be third place in the simulator now? Behind two humans no less? And I took his garbage Pistol as winnings from the bet. (Bruno Shepard was much nicer about it than I am).

Then Bruno Shepard took top spot in the final four missions, then aced Admiral Ahern's special mission without the safeties (which is a totally stupid thing to do and I am sure Shepard will never do something so foolish again, right?). Ahern gave him his retirement home as promised for beating the special mission. Bruno Shepard then took the Normandy to check it out, and used the terminal a few times to get some sweet equipment.

The detour to Feros will take a little longer than usual I think. I may make drop by Terra Nova to see what's up.

As if terra Nova will be attacked by Batarians, or something!

I only hate the time ones. I always hate "survive" missions. The biggest reason is that there is nothing I can do to speed it up. On the other hand, I don't mind timed missions in general because doing better gets me done faster. It's a reward for skill that the survival objectives can't provide.

Finishing a survival mission is easy: holster your gun and let the enemies hit you until your health reaches zero and the mission ends.

Max Shepard is almost done with wrapping up missions before turning herself into the Alliance. She is moving at a snail pace as she fears the out come with Thane in the later chapters.

Welp, Bruno Shepard went to Terra Nova only to see an asteroid accelerating towards the planet. Three fusion torches were propelling the asteroid, so Shepard landed on the asteroid to shut them down. If only it were that easy.

Fusion torch one: Automated turrets were set up around the facility to 'discourage' trespassers. Shepard discouraged their use with lots of bullets. Once inside, he found Batarian terrorists doing... uh... terrorist things. Shepard killed them all.

Second fusion torch: surrounded by more turrets and also land mines! Wonderful! After destroying more turrets, Shepard had to get off on foot and make his way carefully through the minefield, only to have more Batarians show up. Bruno barely avoided getting too close to a mine, then disabled the mine field and killed the rest of the Batarians outside. Then he made it inside and killed more Batarians.

Third fusion torch: more turrets outside, more Batarians inside. After disabling the torch, some Batarian named Charn wanted to talk. Shepard just saw another Batarian that needed to die, so they fought. (This was to avoid the dialogue where Shepard promises to stop Balak, only to let Balak go to save the hostages; Shepard cannot break a promise he never made.). Bruno Shepard picked up a key card to the main facility.

Main facility: Bruno Shepard killed more Batarians, followed by an impassioned -- if misguided -- speech by Balak explaining why the Batarians are attacking humans. Balak gave Shepard an ultimatum: if Balak gets to go free, he will let the hostages live. Shepard let Balak go to save the hostages, only to have Balak tell Shepard the bombs are still on a timer. And to be extra mean, Balak activated some attack drones. Shepard managed to disarm the bombs in time and save the hostages.

As reward for all his good work, Simon gave Shepard is Omni Tool: the Savant... IX. (Savant IX!? Really? Why not Savant X? Just because I am level 53 and not 55, does not mean you should skimp on the good stuff! Gaaaaah!)

On to Feros next. Not sure if I will be playing it tomorrow or not. Chances are I may not get to play until the weekend.

I cursed the Engineer so many times tonight. Instant-death from rockets to the face and snipers.

But you don't win. You might as well not bother playing it in the first place.

Survival missions you basically have to last, what, two minutes? Three minutes tops? After three minutes, just stand there and let the enemies kill you so you finish earlier. I started doing that after I grew tired of my Soldiers/Infiltrators surviving over 30 minutes.

They don't just end when your time is up? I don't remember. Anyway, it's a mental thing about the objective. I don't notice 3 minutes of shooting guys if my objective is to get 50 kills. I notice when I'm sitting there waiting around.

Retook Omega and Petrovsky was spared.  Going to see what the Asari councilor has to say tomorrow when I meet her on the citadel.  Also negotiated peace between the Quarians and the Geth the other day.

Killed Saren- Started ME2, which then froze after watching the 20 minute cut scene and Joker dialogue. Then made me watch it again. Then decided to kick me to the title screen half way through. But then it finally worked, I made a new Femshep face. It looked stupid. I went back to my imported face, which is also the default. Then woke up and shot some mechs.
