Finally done with this ME1 playthrough and I'm sick of SWTOR now so I'm starting ME2 later tomorrow..

Technically I still play a watered-down FemShep... but it wasn't the same. I'll miss my Major Trooper laughing as she exterminate everything that moves but I miss my sniper rifle and headshots more. And she look adorably happy now that I'm back.....

Elise Shepard + crew got grounded, had a talk with Kaidan and now we're off to Ilos. I wish I could buy a mindfish, for science.

Beat the first one as a completion challenge. My journal was completely greyed out by the final fight.

I nearly got a 100% complete thing, but Wrex: Family Armor is bugged sometimes.

Pushed my insanity playthrough a little bit after some down time from multiplayer.  Managed to get out of the Cerberus Lab alive and barely intact too. The mission was almost jeopardized by this crybaby arriving late.

That is a SUPERB Shepard, all the more so since you're playing on a WiiU. Very impressive, consider sharing that face code.

My ME2 Insanity Infiltrator playthrough is going quite well. First, I shut the shutters to stop the blood pack get through the lower levels, then distracted Garm and shot and incinerated him repeatedly. Once that was done, Shepard, Mordin and Jacob stopped the Blue Suns killing 'Archangel' (On their second attempt, I'll admit). Garrus recovered from his near-death experience, slapped on some face paint and nobody could tell the difference.

Then to Korlas (I think) where about three quarters of an hour and several dead Krogan later, I arrived at the breeding lab. I only died once getting rid of 4 angry Krogan, a heavy mech and an armoured, missile launcher wielding merc.

On the Citadel, Shepard met with the council, who decided the Reapers weren't real again and decided to be a bunch of mindless jerks. Then a Volus and a C-Sec guy decided to bully a Quarian because they felt like it. Shepard bought a Tupari sports drink from an extremely talkative vending machine. Tupari is good. Because it sells 12 trillion bottles a day (Anything that popular can't be bad, right), I better than Paragade (Only losers drink Paragade) and is now available with Dextro-Amino acids! Plus, I once knew a guy who didn't have any Tupari for three days, before getting hit by a shuttle!

Then a guard decided to steal Shepard's guns. Shepard threatened to relinquish one bullet, before Warden Kuril  came and ruined everything.

I'm itching to continue ME2, but I'm currently on a baking spree, haha. Christmas is too damn close already (kinda crept up on me) and I'm making cookies almost every day after work and thus have almost no time to play. When I do it's mostly very late already and there's not much time to do longish runs or I'm too tired to do any serious gaming (or maaaybe I'm stalling things because next mission is Horizon!).

I've tried out some things though, mostly ideas for a Vanguard I want to play either after my Soldier or Infiltrator. I can't actually decide now what I want to play first, all I know is that Sentinel is last on the list. But I don't know if I should go with a Vanguard or Infiltrator first. Still some time to make up my mind, but it's a tough decision somehow. I wanted to do Infiltrator first including romancing Garrus, but I admit I had much fun with Vanguard (only tried out ME3 though, so ME2 might be an entirely different thing, haha).

Also I prepared some more Vega stuff. The dreadnought with Tali dead is in reach, and I also decided Tali will die on my current playthrough during the SM, so I can pair James with Ashley and Garrus for Rannoch arc as well (Garrus was also dead in the pseudo-dead-Tali-playthrough and I had forgotten about it, whoops). Damn you, James, killing off people for your sake :P

Only 2 more work days though, then 3 weeks off and I hope I can finish my Soldier run during this time (I kinda doubt it, but let's see ;)).

After a few days away from my Xbox, I played some more Mass Effect last night.

Bruno Shepard finally arrived at Feros, only to have the Geth attack the colony. Bruno fought his way to the colony, then headed up to the tower to prevent more Geth from pouring in. Then Bruno headed down into the tunnels where he:

 1. Killed some Geth and turned the water back on.

 2. Killed some varren and recovered some fuel cells.

 3. Killed some Krogan and destroyed a Geth transmitter.

 4. Met a very strange man.

After checking back in with the colonists, Bruno Shepard then headed to the skyway to get to the Exogeni building. A Geth ship dropped some Geth off on the skyway in front of him before parking on the side of the Exogeni building. Bruno killed the Geth and ran into some more survivors, including a company man named Jeong who was a bit of a jerk.

Shepard finally made it all the way to the Exogeni building, where he met another survivor named Elizabeth. He then found out the reason for the Geth attack: the Geth were trying to kill a plant called a Thorian. Apparently the Thorian was also the cause of the colonists' strange behavior. After taking out the rest of the Geth, Shepard managed to dislodge the Geth ship from the building and causing it to crash, killing all Geth on board (supposedly; you never know).

On the way back, he stopped Jeong from causing a big fight and convinced him to keep the colony running. Shepard got some gas grenade mods that would neutralize the colonists without killing them. Back at the colony, Shepard was attacked by the colonists and some humanoid creatures that puked toxic fluid. He decided to call them Thorian Creepers. He killed the Thorian Creepers and incapacitated the colonists before heading down into some tunnels beneath the colony to deal with the Thorian.

The Thorian was big. It spit out a green Asari commando and told Shepard that Saren had made a deal and then tried to kill it. The Thorian said it would make no more deals and it tried to kill Shepard. The Thorian kept throwing Thorian Creepers and some green Asari commandos at him. but Shepard finally killed the Thorian by weakening its 'roots' and sending it falling down a big hole. Killing the Thorian managed to free an Asari from some cocoon-like thing. Apparently the green Asari commandos were clones of this Asari.

The Asari, Shiala, gave Shepard a cipher that would help him understand the visions he got from the Prothean Beacon on Eden Prime. Shepard told Shiala she should stay to help the colony rebuild.

* * *

Thorian Creepers have way too much health.

So three more uncharted worlds left, then Virmire > Ilos > Citadel. I should be able to complete Bruno Shepard's Mass Effect 1 adventure this weekend.

Bruno Shepard discovered a freighter filled with husks. He killed the husks.  (Angry rant: Quit complaining about how you accidentally get stuck in cover when you don't want to in ME2 or ME3 when ME1 can be so much worse especially on this mission.)

Shepard then investigated a distress beacon and found more Thorian Creepers and some trapped Exogeni team. They tried to bribe Shepard; when Shepard refused, they tried to kill Shepard but they died very quickly.

Shepard then investigated a colony that had went silent. The colony had been turned into husks. Shepard killed the husks.

On to Virmire!

Almost done my ME2 PT. Just finished Thane's loyalty quest. Used the bomb response this time and loved how my Shepard laughed at the worker running off scared. Just need to get Samara, do her mission and then it's off to get the IFF!

Bruno Shepard went to Virmire to go see what the Infiltration Team wanted. Because of the Anti Aircraft (AA) guns, the Normandy dropped Shepard off in the Mako. Shepard encountered lots of Geth as he disabled the AA towers on the way to the Infiltration Team's camp.

When they finally made it to the camp, the captain told Shepard that Saren had discovered a cure for the genophage and was breeding an army of Krogan at a nearby base. They needed to destroy it. Wrex was not happy about it, but Shepard managed to calm him down and convince him they were doing the right thing. The captain then told Shepard his plan: they were going to plant a bomb. They were going to split up into teams. The Infiltration Unit would be a distraction while Shepard's team would infiltrate the base and disable the remaining AA guns so the Normandy could deliver the bomb. The captain needed one of Shepard's crew and Shepard gave him Kaidan. (Oops. I forgot I wanted Kaidan's biotics. Oh well.)

Shepard made his way into the base, while sabotaging the enemy's defensive efforts along the way to help out the Infiltration Unit. Once inside the base, they discovered that the base was also used to study indoctrination and that several captured Salarians -- formerly the Infiltration Unit's men -- had been indoctrinated and were fighting for Saren. Shepard did manage to let a captured Salarian (who was not indoctrinated) go free, but he let some other Salarians go and they tried to kill Shepard. Shepard gunned them down. Shepard also found an Asari scientist who gave him elevator access to some private labs and Shepard let her go.

Bruno Shepard finally shut off the last AA gun and made it to a landing site where the Normandy came in and dropped off the bomb. Kaidan called on the radio and his squad was under fire so Shepard went to go help him. But on the way, a Geth ship dropped off some more units at the bomb site and Ashley armed the bomb to make sure it would go off. That forced Shepard into a choice of going to save Ashley or Kaidan. He chose to go save Kaidan. (Bruno does not know it, but Kaidan will be the better squadmate for him in ME3, since Stasis > Reave is a biotic combo.)

While rescuing Kaidan and his squad, Saren showed up and explained that he was helping the Reapers because he was trying to save all organic life from dying. He felt that the Reapers would win regardless and he was trying to spare as many organics as he could. Shepard was sure that he was just indoctrinated. The fought briefly, then Saren flew away when an alarm sounded indicating that the bomb was ready to detonate. The Normandy picked up Shepard and the remaining Salarians and they hightailed it off the planet before the bomb detonated.

Not sure if I will start the end game tonight or tomorrow.

Axton Shepard had a few errands to run on the Citadel. His day was rough, he missed Kaidan like crazy so he went to get drunk at Purgatory. He had a drink with Vega and a couple of Marines, shortly after he found himself alone at the bar knocking one back after the other. He woke up in the elevator outside of Purgatory and he knew then that he has to get his life and his **** together.

Well I have been busy the last few days I wrapped up one trilogy playthrough and started another one up.

Long story short Sandra learned about the true origins of the reapers and the Leviathans, threw a party, put an end to Cerberus, and merged synthetic and organic life.

Also started Kevin Shepard's story.  He is a spacer and a war hero.  Also he is my personal favorite class to play, the vangard.

Bruno Shepard just got grounded by Udina and the Council while they fortify the Citadel against Saren and the Geth.

But I mostly came here to rant about how Bruno Shepard got ninjamanced by Liara. HOW?????

I am absolutely positive that when Liara asked if Shepard had feelings for her, I selected the 'No' option. But here she is, talking to Shepard and then sharing that tender moment before Joker interrupts them over the intercom. This is why I hate talking with Liara. Getting out of a romance between Shepard and Kaidan or Ashley is easy. With Liara you pretty much have to avoid talking with her, but that means you miss out on codex entries. (I always think there is XP to go along with those, even if there is not.)

Bruno Shepard will be romancing Steve Cortez in ME3, so it makes no sense for him to romance Liara in ME1 so that means I have to put up with her whining pre-Ilos meet-up, Illium, Shadow Broker's ship, and Mars (and probably a little after Mars).

Liara is useful as a squadmate in combat. I just don't like her outside of combat.

It's called the umbra visor, you can get it late in the game either on Thessia or purchase them on the citadel afterwards.  It increases power damage by 10% so it is great for caster classes and my Shepard was a sentinel.   I don't wear helmets (other than hazardous environments) but I have no problem decking them out in a visor that suits their class.   I think it was available for ME 2 via Dr Pepper promotional DLC but I never got it for ME 2.  Not sure what it's ME 2 stats are.
