Bruno Shepard conspired with Captain Anderson to steal the Normandy and chase Saren to Ilos. Anderson knocked out Ambassador Udina and used his computer to override the Normandy's lockdown. Then Joker hightailed the Normandy out of the Nebula.

 

On the way to Ilos, Liara stopped by Shepard's cabin. Shepard told her to get lost. (Hint Liara: Bruno Shepard is gay and only likes you for your biotics).

 

At Ilos, Shepard told Joker to drop him them right on top of Saren, and Joker nearly managed to do it. But Saren was just one step ahead of them and closed a big gate into a large underground bunker. Shepard ran around and found the controls for the bunker, along with an old distress call used by the Protheans.

 

In the underground bunker, they found a Prothean VI named Vigil. Vigil told them how Prothean scientists managed to stop the Keepers from responding to the Keeper signal. It also told them that the Conduit was a back door to the Citadel, a Prothean-built mini-relay. Vigil also gave them a data file that would stop Sovereign from taking control over the Citadel.

 

Shepard kept driving in the bunker until he reached the conduit and drove into it before it closed. The Mako then travelled to the Citadel and crushed some Geth when it landed in the Citadel. Shepard took and elevator after Saren, but Saren shut it down partway up. Shepard then used his gravity boots to walk up the rest of the way, shooting all Geth and a few Krogan along the way.

 

Once up at the tower in the Council Chambers, Shepard convinced Saren to shoot himself, then used the data file to stop Sovereign and regain control over the Citadel. He told the Joker to save the Destiny Ascension, which was under attack and carrying the council. He then opened the Citadel arms to let the fleet through to take down Sovereign.

 

Sovereign, in a last-ditch effort to retake control over the Citadel, took over Saren's implants and tried to kill Shepard. After a brief firefight (two lifts, three overloads, and Warp can make short work of Saren), robo-Saren was destroyed. At the same time, Sovereign lost shields and appeared to lose power and was destroyed by the Alliance fleet.

 

The Council decided to let humanity join the council, and asked Shepard who he would recommend for the human councilor. Shepard told the council to let the politicians decide before walking away, vowing to find some way to stop the Reapers for good.

Yay, had a bit of time in-between today, but could just do the crew talk before heading to Horizon.

 

After we had taken the tank-bred krogan onboard the Normandy, I talked with a few of the guys, and then visited Jack.

She told me some personal things because I asked her about it, and I was glad she apparently trusted me enough to tell me at least a few things.

When I turned to go she asked me what all these questions are about, if I'm just interested in having sex with her. What can I say, she is a fascininating woman. So I told her the truth, that I definitely am, but...

She asked if we were gonna do this right now, and I... declined. I kinda... well, get the feeling doing this right now would be hurting whatever trust we slowly built up to this point. Funny thing, caring about that so much.

I then went upstairs to check out the tank. EDI couldn't say if the krogan is dangerous, and it would probably be safer to leave the tank as it is. But I think we could use the extra muscle for this mission, and so I opened it up.

Should've known better. The krogan came charging at me and pushed me hard against the wall. He didn't hurt me though. Wanted to know his name... then he just named himself with one of the words Okeer had said. Grunt.

When he questioned me being worthy of command I just wanted to get out of his grip and tried to make him play nice, telling him I won't ask again. According to him, asking made me unworthy. Aha. You still think so? I had my pistol ready and didn't hesitate to shoot. Damn krogan better stays in line. I've had enough of that on Virmire already.

But for now at least things are settled. After this rough introduction I returned to the CIC when Kelly informed me the Illusive Man wanted to speak to me. Allright, let's hear what he has to say then.

 

 

I hope I didn't screw up Jack's romance now with the dialogue options I picked, but I loved how Shepard admitted he's surely interested in Jack sexually, but then wanted to wait anyway. It was fitting as he slowly has to admit he might be caring more for her than he did for any other woman before

He's not really laying off the flirting though, as nicely demonstrated when talking to Kelly

Heh, I just realised this is the first serious romance for me in ME2, since my first Shep just got into Miranda's pants because why not, then ditched her in the next game (I'm sorry about that now, but the break-up scene I got to see was a good one anyway).

The scene with shooting Grunt was great, too! Ever since I saw it in cap and gown's playthrough I wanted to try it out. Oooh, I'm gonna go through with not curing the genophage in ME3 with his tendency to see krogan as a threat... am I

Some people argue that Udina is being reasonable because Humanity is still weak before the Council and Udina doesn't want Shepard to undo all the ground they've gained through Shepard's previous actions. I might agree, if it wasn't for Udina's "with my help, of course," line. It really makes it feel like he sees a personal opportunity rather than doing his job as he seems to be in the beginning. Correct or not, he comes off like a wiener and I love seeing, hearing, and even feeling Udina's head hit the desk.

lol I've been thinking about heading back into Skyrim after I finished up my trilogy run but can't tear myself away from ME, started another trilogy run.  Will probably hit the wall with ME  and need to take a break from it soon though.

In the nearly eight years I have been playing ME 1 there was only one playthrough where I didn't have Anderson punch Udina.  I wonder if bioware has a stat on that somewhere.  I am guessing it is 95% plus people chose that option.  That is the one thing Anderson got to do that Shepard never got to do.  Putting a bullet in him just wasn't the same.

Completed ME2 and romanced Garrus all the way through this time (everyone survived and the base was destroyed). I will never tire of that music at the base! Now to play Arrival and then ME3.

Kevin exposed Saren as a traitor and became the first human spectre.  He went to Therum to make contact with archeologist and prothean researcher Liara T'soni.  Extracted her from a geth trap and fought off a krogan battlemaster in the process.

 

Friggin battlemaster gave me problems this time around.  In retrospect I wish I had Kaidan on the mission since I hadn't unlocked lift yet on my vangard.  Finally managed to disintegrate him with my shotgun right when he was about to club me to death (again).

Been on a long break, primarily playing Fallout 4, Elite and DAI lately. Just finished a Lavellan playthrough and started also new rogue run but I still like to check in this thread from time to time. I have a ME2 run on the go, but it's been on ice for a few months.

I imported Bruno Shepard into ME2. Escaped Lazarus station. Somehow managed to die once. Game glitched once and forced a reload.

 

Talked to the Illusive Man. Customized my armor (priorities!).

 

Landed on Freedom's Progress. Saved the game and shut off the Xbox.

 

 

Bruno Shepard is an Engineer that uses Stasis as a bonus power. I created a thread about it a few years ago here. At one point I wanted to record all the missions, but at this point no one is going to care anymore and I really do not feel like recording it anymore either. Too much time has past.

Today in the Mass Effect trilogy I went back to my apartment on the Citadel to find out that I couldn't watch Thanes messages to his Siha. So I loaded the savegame I made in case that would happen (standing in front of the screen with the marker to play the messages), just to find out they where gone. So I returned to a savegame from 5 hours earlier, before the wake.

And then I made an account for the ME forums to complain about it.

Today Kevin got interviewed by a reporter, looked for someone's missing brother, saved Chairman Burns, found Kohuku's missing marines and killed a thresher maw, and killed the slaver sister of a corrupt Asari diplomat (he wonders if Nassana will ever get what's coming to her).   Kevin also wonders how many pre fab warehouses there are in the galaxy.

I didn't keep track. I also wasn't really going too fast. The fastest time I've completed ME1 was 3 hours 26 minutes

The Illusive Man told me that the Collectors hit Horizon, and also that Ash is stationed there. Sh*t, hope she's going to be fine.

We set course and Mordin had the countermeasure against the seeker swarms ready, and he, Jack and I touched down on Horizon. Not soon in we already encountered the Collectors and saw some colonists in stasis.

Along the way we met a mechanic from the colony, and he wasn't too pleased about the Alliance's involvement and blames them for the things that have happened. Oh well, whatever, we need to move on. We know our destination now, the colony defense towers, to get them operational. We left him and proceeded towards the spaceport, killing off more Collectors on the way.

At the port we fought some more Collectors, then got a second to catch our breaths. While EDI restored the defense towers, more enemies arrived. At last, the Collector ship flew off when the cannons hit. We did it.

The mechanic arrived, and then Ash approached us, too. Damn, she looks good. We hugged for a moment and I could smell her skin, her hair, the old familiarity between us that seemed like ages ago. Then I must've said something really stupid because Ash was quite pissed at me. She told me that she thought we had something real, that she loved me. Well this is awkward, I thought we only... (eh, I just pretend Ashley never really told him during their time and for him it was a very physical relationship anyway )

But now here we are, she's blaming me and I'm trying to justify why I didn't contact her, that I was dead for 2 years until Cerberus was done rebuilding me. Cerberus being the magic word here. Ash didn't care for anything else, only that I work with them now. She's even more pissed off, throwing nice words in my face and then she just left. So much for that reunion.

Back on the Normandy I learned from the Illusive Man that it was him planting rumours about me and Cerberus. Thanks, dude. I'm glad you're doing what you do, fighting the Collectors and finding more information, but that was not very nice.

The crew wants to take care of some loose ends and I'll do what I can for them, can't hurt to have them focused and ready.

Of course it doesn't end well...

 

Well, Horizon was messy as usual, loads of panicking, but this time at least I didn't die during the tower fight section, though it was close and involved a lot of running around like an idiot and staying in some stupid cover positions (you'd think one would learn that you cannot shoot from certain cover and then would try to move on to a different one. Not me it seems ). During this mission I've also become somewhat fond of the Vindicator Battle Rifle. Seemed like it did some good damage even from a distance. I might replay Horizon later and try to move around with a shotgun only, just for fun practice. I expect lots of deaths

Alsoooo, what I really hate in ME2 is how the dialogue is cut off sometimes. I assume that's a problem only if the subtitles are on, but it's annoying nevertheless.

Brooke woke up in a lab , met a dude named Jacob and Miranda ( she will have to watch this one, with that attitude they will not get along) TIM was decent enough at this time of course she will not let him get close to her but she will listen to his ideas for the time being. Brooke landed on Freedoms Progress and found Tali , scared as usual when it comes to Shep she does not back down to anyone. After telling them to get lost ( seriously she had more fire power on her side and did not trust the other Quarian's to let her even get near this Veetor person) 

After shooting the big screen and getting what she could from Veetor she let Tali take him back to the Flotilla. Back at the Cerberus base she reported what she found to TIM and met up with her favorite pilot Joker. After heading out on the new Normandy she scanned some minerals and hit Omega. Whoever this Aria chick is she will get nothing from Brooke by thinking she owns her. Lets see what happens if they never met. 

Brooke is now in the slums making her way to the Salarian scientist , killing merchs is really fun.

Ok guys, I did run around on Horizon with Shotgun only for half an hour last night (up until Spaceport). Definitely weird going up so close sometimes, but in a strange way it was also fun when I succeeded

For anyone who's interested how I noobishly did that, here's a video I pieced together. My funny deaths included too, of course I definitely still have to practice this crap a lot.

After a long break (during which playing the whole series of Assassin's Creed,) I started playing ME3 again today.
I imported a previous female ME3 Vanguard Shepard, with everything completed and everybody alive. I just finished the Mars mission.

Shepard is beginning to suspect some sort of divine prophecy is unfolding around him after a suspicious incident on Eden Prime. Just moments after wishing Jenkins would just shut up or die, he gets filled full of lead. Him specifically and nobody else. Counting his blessings Shepard cheekily remarked that whoever was listening would do well to send him a hot chick or two and put a bullet in that smart aleck Turian he'd shared words with earlier.

After meeting up with Ashley and poking Nihlus with a stick he was genuinely questioning if he was some sort of space messiah, when the opportunity to save a sexy space damsel arose.

Waking up on the Normandy he wondered if it was all a dream, recalling his vision he pondered for a moment what it would be like to wield that power as his own.....

Went to Freedom's Progress and found a locked door that stopped me getting to the Ymir mech that was attacking Tali's team.

Said "stuff this for a game of soldiers" and turned it off.
