On the Normandy she doesn't interact with anyone at all like Kaiden.

Kaidan has two interactions: one with Vega playing poker, the other with Adams. Ashley has one.

She can also be found contemplating the memorial wall after the Bomb mission and will reminisce about Kaidan.

Also, my squad hat somehow decided my squad cryo ammo should be ignored. Jack had put on her Warp ammo automatically, but I didn't notice for some time. Are the squad ammo's reset when dying? I thought not.

Yes, the squad mates lose their ammo powers when you die and reload.

If you go with the Widow, then you should go with Heightened (assuming you wish to do a lot of sniping). For the Viper you really don't gain much by using AR unless you need it to help you aim. Since you are going to need multiple shots to kill anything with the Viper, the damage boost from AR will be completely nullified by the lower RoF. The Widow, OTOH, will benefit from the extra damage boost of Heightened AR since it is a single shot weapon.

So far I love Jack's romance btw, can't wait to see this go any further. I love Jack's VA

I've never done Jacks romance, mainly because I can't make a male Shep I like.
So today I made this guy in ME3 & I thought I could tolerate him.

Spoiler

But then he turned out looking like this in ME1.

Spoiler

And 5 minutes into Eden Prime I deleted him.
I guess I'll just have to edit some variables in gibbed & romance Jack with femshep (like I did with Tali & Miranda.)
So now I'm making a new Femshep.

Kaidan also has an interaction over the comm with Liara :) Not sure if that is all, but that's all I remember.

Sh*t, well that explains everything :D I have probably not thought about this because that's not the case in ME3. So far I hadn't used Squad ammo in ME2 except for Zaeed's mission I believe, and there I didn't die, haha.

Yeah, I'm still thinking about it. But I gotta say I'd definitely favor the Vindicator, no matter if I use the Widow or the Viper in the end.

Aw, too bad. You could've maybe still changed him up a bit in ME1, that's what I usually do after trying out Shepards in 3. I changed quite some things for Idan too, especially the mouth and eyes. I'm waiting now if he will import nicely into ME3, and if not I still would have the old code and make a few tweaks :)

But FemShep and Jack is of course also an awesome option, I'd have taken it at some point would she have been available :D

- Again this shows the core issue with ME2 - I should be doing the Reaper IFF mission. Instead after this I've got over 8 loyalty missions to do if I choose. The narrative arc of this game is buggered, the main plot makes no sense and the only really good thing are the characters and locations

- Like all the missions on Illium I love the sense of world building and place

- Samara's introduction is ruined by her outfit. It makes her look ridiculous and completely unlike a supposed ruthless warrior Monk. The fact she is dressed up more sexily than her sex killing daughter is bonkers. Also, hate to say it but her character is frankly dull. I understand the supposed lack of emotions etc, but even in ME3 she doesn't emote when trying to save or kill her daughter. it may be the fault of the voice actress, I don't know, but even showing a hint of conflict or doubt would have been good

- Letting the Eclipse girl go rather than shooting her is, on the face of it, a bad outcome for the Paragon option. Of course, it being the instawin paragon option the detective assures you she will be caught. It would be much better if she was angry you let her go, at least it would have some balance in the 'always choose upper right to succeed'

- I honestly cannot say anything about the Boss fight, she died before I had even got into the room. the fight literally lasted about 20 seconds, and that was a mook hiding out. Shame as there was potential for a character there, maybe even a trade off in giving information for living etc

- Detective Anaya is one of the better NPC's in Mass Effect, a surprisingly real person who is just bothered about doing their job. Harks back a bit to the NPC's Noveria, and is surprisingly rare in ME2 (and ME3 for that matter). She also serves as another counter to the 'mercs and strippers' of Asari; in fact you could say ME2 gives a surprisingly large amount of depth to the Asari. Pity that has all been junked because of RGB, but there you go, well done Bioware

I took Mordin and Thane onto the derelict Reaper. It has been the only time I have experienced where both squadmates have agreed on bringing back the disabled geth.

The Eclipse girl is great because you should know she is lying if you were paying attention. Pitney Fore tells you they need to murder someone to even get their uniform.

It was time to recruit Tali for our mission. We were not far from the system she's in, and Jack, Garrus and I soon touched down on Haestrom, a planet where the sun drains our shields. Sounds worse than it is.

There were a lot of geth here, and we learned that Tali was on an important mission, but she's also in trouble. I hope we can get there in time.

At some point I talked to another quarian called Kal'Reegar, one of Tali's men, and he assured us she's still safe. That's good to hear. We fought through the geth and eventually met this Kal'Reegar, seems like a really good guy. His suit had a rupture and I told him to stay in cover, that we'll take it from here. We approached the geth colossus in this area from the right side and managed to take it down after a while. We met Tali in the observatory, and I'm really glad she's alright. Reegar joined us for the moment, but then his and Tali's ways parted. Tali came aboard the Normandy while Reegar went back to the other quarians. Tali was not too happy I'm actually really involved with Cerberus, but I told her for now we're on the same side. She didn't take it too well, and was also really hostile to Jacob, but she'll get over it.

Spoiler

Did that yesterday already, and I played the mission twice, once with Hardened AR, Vindicator and Viper, and once with Heightened, Vindicator and Widow.

The first run was very hectic and running around like a chicken at times, because I could not remember enemy spawning points for the most part, or even where some items were. It was... interesting.

And then... I pulled a Jenkins! Death by recon drone. I was in cover, but somehow that piece of sh*t still got me. On a more positive note, Garrus's Area Overload and Jack's Pull are awesome on the drones, I really liked that.

I also used Squad Cryo ammo which was really nice at times, but I think overall it might've been better to go for Squad Disruptor ammo. I will try that next time I face geth.

The second run was quite smooth and I handled things better knowing now where I had to go (this place almost feels like a maze to me, honestly) and where to expect enemies, haha. And I like the Widow, but in the end, Heightened AR is not as good with the Vindicator, and the Viper seems to be able to also take down the complete armor of for example a Prime with 1 Hardened AR, and I like the fire rate. So I guess I will be using Hardened AR with Vindi and Viper from now on. I plan to still play Samara's recruitment mission twice today if I can find the time, to see if I stay with that decision. Why does this have to be so complicated? :P

Also a tiny update on what I likely play next: I'm pretty sure I will go with the Infiltrator first, and then Vanguard afterwards.

I still have to think a lot about what Sentinel I wanna do, what his background is and how his personality is. The only thing I know so far is a Tali romance. But that is still a long time away. And if I actually want to play the 3 remaining classes before Andromeda comes out, I should better be quick.

I wish I had started way earlier with ME... -_-

Finished ME1 yesterday. Logan Shepard destroyed the Thorian, did a bunch of side missions, then traveled to Virmire where he promptly found himself in the middle of a mess. I decided to do something different this time and do Virmire before Noveria, because I think it makes slightly more sense if Saren realizes the Conduit is on Ilos but still needs to determine the location of the lost Mu relay. It also makes playing through Noveria a breeze though, because at that point I was so high level. Ha.

Anyway, Shep had a premonition and talked to Ashley one last time before Virmire. When the time came to choose, he decided to go back and rescue his bro Kaidan. Sorry, Ash, but I almost always save Kaidan, unless I'm doing a playthrough where I romance you or have a femShep be your bestest friend. Captain Kirrahe survived though so yay. Logan was also able to talk Wrex down despite not having gotten his family armor back for him yet. I honestly contemplated letting Ash shoot Wrex, but Wreav annoys me.

Onto Noveria where Logan did the honorable thing and convinced Qu'in to testify against Anoleis. Gianna now owes him one beer. Skipped Opold. Smuggle your own goods, jelly. Didn't bring Liara along to see her mom. Too bad, so sad. Decided letting the rachni queen live was too much of a risk. Damn, does Shep have to sound like such an evil ****** when he makes this decision though? Stupid. I cringed through the whole scene.

Now that Shep and crew knew the location of the Mu relay, it was time to head to Ilos, but wait the Council is stupid, and we need to punch Udina in the face. Good times. Shep brought his bros Kaidan and Garrus along for the final mission. Super high level at this point, breezed through tons of geth. Couldn't persuade Saren to kill himself so had to kill him the old-fashioned way.

Council was too stupid to be worth the cost of human lives saving it so bye bye old Council. Shep chose Udina to become Councilor, even though he's an ass, and Logan was jealous Anderson got to punch him, and he didn't.

~

Today Logan Shepard woke up in a Cerberus facility, and boy is he pissed after what happened on Akuze. Too bad he can't just flat out refuse to work for the Illusive Man, but he sure as hell isn't going to trust him. Jacob is his boring self, and damn, do all the women in Cerberus dress like that? How does that catsuit even protect anything at all?  :P

No Justicar today, I noticed that I only needed a few more EXP for a level up, so I did a bit of side stuff. Did 2 easy missions to get them, Endangered Research Station and the MSV Estevanico and the sidequest with the slaver and the quarian on Illium and now I have my next 4 points, yay! Since I recently changed to Squad Cryo Ammo instead of Shock Trooper I can now pick it again. I hope with this breaking up the fight between Jack and Miranda will be doable.

One nice line I've had today was from Aethyta, it had me chuckling.

"Welcome back, babe. Can I get you anything? Sorry, no sex. Just cleaned the bar."

Now that would've been something Idan would've liked, if it weren't for Jack :P I've exhausted her dialogue by the way... so I have to wait to get my hands on her till the Suicide Mission. But I think that's quite cool, she wanted time to think, she'll have plenty until I get there

I didn't know you could let her go. I guess I'm too jumpy on that Renegade interrupt.

However today I have laughed myself silly in Mass Effect 3. I got to the bit just before the Destroyer gets taken down in the opening and had Anderson pushing me all the way there. I know he's in a hurry but that's taking it a bit too far.

Not being picky. Just trying to know what part of the game you're referring to. You said opening. I'm guessing you mean the beginning of the game in which there is no destroyer that is destroyed. The only thing that gets destroyed is that Alliance ship before seeing the 2 guys.

So you guessed I meant the beginning of the game where the destroyed ship is referred to to as a Destroyer (you've played the game enough to know that is the case) yet you still felt the need to question what I said? I do not believe that you meant the post as anything other than an attempt to correct what I posted.

I unassigned all Bruno Shepard's talent points in ME2, made a new save.

I did this in ME3 for about an hour or so:

Spoiler

Then Bruno Shepard began his journey into ME3.

Bruno's Mass Effect 3 journey began with him meetind an Alliance committee. The committee asked him his plan about how to stop the Reapers. Having had six months to plan, Shepard said "We fight or we die!" Bruno was not about to tell them he spent the last six months browsing the Extranet for Krogan porn.

Then the Reapers attacked Earth and Bruno ran away to Mars, where he ran into Cerberus, then into Liara. Bruno used the powers of the skip dialogue button to pretend that Liara never ninja-manced him back in Mass Effect 1.

Kaidan questioned whether Bruno was still working for Cerberus or under their control. Bruno then tried to prove his loyalty to the Alliance by killing a couple more dozen Cerberus guys.

Bruno and company are now standing in front of the door that leads into the archives. (It is late and it is a good spot to stop playing)

The day started like any other for Renegon Vanguard April Shepard.
She took the girls to stop Saren from gaining control of the Citadel.
Spoiler

She then moved on to ME2 & romance with Jack.
Meeting up with Ashley on Horizon, didn't go as well as she would have liked.
But Ash did send her a email wishing her well.
Spoiler

Apart from the loss of Jacob, Garris, & Thane, it wasn't a bad day.
I'll recruit Zaeed & head for ME3.

I romanced Liara with an Adept & now Jack with a shotgun totting Vanguard.
I need to plan ahead a bit more, like RedCaesar97.

This was the first time I had played the Shadow Broker DLC & not romanced Liara, so that was a little different.

Spoiler

I believe if you had waited until after the SM to do this visit from Liara you would have gotten the third option to tell her you are fighting for Jack, to which Liara would have responded you are crazy. In total, Liara, Kasumi, and Jack all think you are crazy for romancing Jack.
