Well I recruited Kasumi, and did her loyalty mission. I thought I was taking lots of great screen shots, but when I looked, I only had one.
I must have been pressing F11 again. I'm a bit slow, and it always takes me time to adjust to the switch.
I keep trying to open doors with the E key.
My only screenie, I'm not even sure where it's from.

Spoiler

Assuming that is on Kasumi's loyalty mission, then it is either right when you walk into the vault or when you walk out out the door onto the gunship area. I am basing it on the camera angle (looks like it is from a cutscene or convesation), plus you are wearing armor.

But it looks more like Lazarus Station, or the other space station when you are talking to Miranda or Jacob.

Definitely from a cut scene or conversation, I never play without the HUD, or with free camera.
I thought Lazarus Station, but I don't think I had eyelashes at that stage. Maybe somewhere on the Citadel?

Looks to me like Lazarus station after you've taken out the mechs and talk to Jacob. Before Wilson contacts you.

Your spot on. I went back and played again from the beginning and it was the first talk with Jacob.
Only this time I never had my eyelashes yet. I played through to where I met Miranda and still didn't have them.
So this begs the question. What determines when your eyelashes grow back?
I went back and looked at some of my old screenshots. In one game I still didn't have eyelashes when I had a drink with Dr Chakwas.
Edit: I had saved the game right after the screenshot below.
I went back and loaded that save, and this time I had eyelashes when I spoke with Wilson.
So it must be after the first time you load a saved game.

I'm glad you got the eyelashes - the only thing I would have mentioned would have been the makeup tab. I always give them fairly dark eyeshadow to maximise eyelashes.

:o If the eyelashes were maximised any more, they could defeat the reapers on their own.

From the journal of David Shepard:

We needed to deal with this Cerberus group quickly before they realized we destroyed their bases, so we landed near the location of their main base. And then we ran into a Thresher Maw! That makes three so far since becoming a Spectre. It's like the universe was mad I survived Akuze and is now actively trying to get Thresher Maws to eat me. I am so glad I have a tank this time.

Anyway, their sentries outside spotted us (and I'm sure the sound of our tank was also a giveaway) so we lost the element of surprise. But they went down quickly enough and after a brief firefight inside, we finally finished this Cerberus group. We found a terminal inside. It started to erase itself when I used it (I should have let Tali do it. Stupid!), but I did manage to save a few encrypted files before it shut itself down.

Back on the Normandy, an agent of the Shadow Broker called me, asking for the files. Apparently Admiral Kohaku offered to give the Shadow Broker any Cerberus files he came across in exchange for the Cerberus base locations. I was conflicted. On the one hand, they were now Alliance property, and the deal died with Kohalu. On the other hand, I was merely finishing what Kohaku started and so I should honor the deal. In the end, I decided that I would honor the deal Kohaku made and gave the files to the Shadow Broker. I hope I did the right thing.

After selling a bunch of the items I salvaged, I went back to the Citadel and bought that Medical Exoskeleton mod I had my eye on. I even had enough credits left over to buy some new armor. The armor does not provide as much protection as the armor I had, but it has two mod slots so I figure that is a fair trade-off.

Now we head off to Noveria. I hear it's cold. I hate the cold.

The only reason to honor the deal is for the Shadow Broker to owe you a favor.

I love Mr. Thax's man. He's the most polite guy ever, not only a Krogan but working for an implied mob boss. Everything about him is great.

Right Thax, I called him Jax, but that was the Krogan mod trafficker in ME1.
And yeah, it's a pity we didn't get to see more of him.
And the Asari at the transport hub sure panicked when she realised they had stolen from Thax.

There was no platform to see more of him. I just think it was a nice touch added to a nothing item in a mission. As for that Asari, she knew; she was panicked because she got caught!

Perhaps they could have had Mr Thax's assistant come and put his arm around the Asari and lead her away.

Maybe, but I actually like that everything was subtle and implied. The guy said Mr. Thax's actions would be determined by the sincerity of the apology, and from the Asari's comments, I'm guessing that Thax was satisfied.

From the journal of David Shepard:

Noveria was cold, both the weather and the people.

I got stopped at the gate by Noveria security. They wanted to take my weapons and it nearly came to a firefight before they confirmed my identity. I would hate to shoot innocent people just doing their jobs. After getting through, I talked with an assistant to the port administrator. She mentioned that Benezia passed through recently. Liara was concerned that I would not trust her, but I assured her I trusted her completely. She seemed relieved at that.

And then I met the administrator, a Salarian named Anoleos. He told me that Benezia went off to Peak 15, but that the route was cut off because of the storm. I figured we could drive, but he shut that idea down. As I walked out, his assistant, a woman named Gianna Parsini told me to go talk to Lorik Quin. Lorik Quin was a Turian and a manager of Synthetic Insights. He told me that he had evidence that Anoleos was corrupt, taking bribes and stealing credits. He also told me that Anoleos had currently locked him out of his office and that he was paying Noveria's security to shake down his office to retrieve the evidence. He made a deal: I would get the data in exchange for a garage pass so i could get to Peak 15.

Some Krogan called me a stupid mammal.

I took the elevator up to Lorik's office. I managed to convince some of the guards to get out quietly, but most of them stuck around and tried to kill me, forcing me to kill them in self defense. I got the evidence, but was then accosted by more men, plus a shrew or woman with a nasty attitude. I did not feel sorry when I took her down.

Parsini intercepted me and told me to meet with her before talking with Quin. Turns out she was Noveria Internal Affairs and was investigating Lorik Quin. She told me if I could convince Quin to testify, she would give me the garage pass. So I did: I convinced Quin to testify, she arrested Anoleos, and I got my garage pass. And somewhere in all that mess, I stopped a Hanar from smuggling a dangerous weapon mod, although he was still around since Anoleos only fined him instead of arresting him. At least that slippery Salarian is in jail now.

So then I finally made it into the garage, only to be attacked by Geth. Apparently, Benezia had smuggled in Geth with her cargo. I would have figured the Geth would have caused Peak 15's sudden silence, but it sent a distress call before Benezia arrived. Before being arrested, Anoleos told me that Saren was a heavy investor in Binary Helix, and they were working on Peak 15. Not good.

Between the weather and the Geth, the road to Peak 15 was dangerous, but an all-terrain military mounted with a minigun and cannon certainly makes things easier. Not sure why they had a tank parked in that garage, but I am not complaining.

But then things got weirder: Krogan working alongside the Geth (just like on Therum), and then Rachni. I guess I found out where that Cerberus group got the Rachni, although it is hard to say whether they stole them or bought them. I had to repair the Peak 15 VI, the fuel tanks, and the landline before I could head off to Rift Station, the location of Benezia. Things only spiralled more out of control from there.

First,i found out the Rachni were attacking in waves, having killed most of the staff. Then I found out they were creating some sort of bio-weapon, and that some of the staff had been infected. So I went to go create a cure only to be attacked by one of the scientists (an Asari) and Geth. And then I find out the Rachni were also bred in the Hot Labs. So I went down  to the Hot Labs. Talking with the doctor, he told me that they had discovered a well-preserved Rachni egg and hatched it. The Rachni was a queen and bred more Rachni. And then the Rachni went crazy. He told me that they needed to set off the Neutron Purge to kill the remaining Rachni. He also told me that Benezia was not in the Hot Labs as I had been informed earlier.

The doctor was killed by a Rachni, then I armed the purge, killed the remaining attacking Rachni, then took the elevator back up before the purge went off. Only for the guards to attack me under orders from Benezia. Luckily, it appeared that the doctors and scientists -- the non-security personnel -- had fled, which was a relief. I took out the remaining guards and one lone Rachni, before finally confronting Benezia.

Benezia was insane. She did not care that Liara was there, and she did not want to talk about surrender, so she attacked us, along with Asari commandos and more Geth. Mid-battle, she managed to briefly snap out her bloodlust and told us what we wanted to know: Saren sent her to get the location of the Mu Relay, and that the Rachni knew where it was. She did not know where Saren was heading though. She also told us that Saren had the ability to influence minds, or perhaps it came from his ship Sovereign, the ship that attacked Eden Prime.

Unfortunately, Benezia soon reverted to her bad mental state and tried to kill us again. We put her down.

And then the Rachni Queen that was locked in a containment pod took control of an Asari Commando's body and used it to speak to us. It told us it wanted to live, that it did not know why the Rachni attacked the galaxy all those years ago, and that it would start a new peaceful life. I asked it about the Rachni that attacked us earlier and she told us that they were taken from her before she could teach them, so they became insane. I decided to believe her and let her free.

Back on the Normandy, the council called in and was not happy that I let the Rachni go free. And later back at the Citadel, Udina also told me that I should have destroyed the Rachni. Ugh. Now i am not sure I made the right choice.

But the council did tell me that one of their Infiltration units in the 'Verge had sent out an urgent call and wanted me to go check it out. Hackett also called me about a mission: some biotic extremists had taken control of a Sirta Foundation lab and he wanted me to take it back. No rest for the weary. Time for a short rest, then back to work!

From the journal of David Shepard:

Roses are red,

Asari are blue.

I am a big idiot,

And I like to eat glue.

Who wrote that in my journal? Ashley? I thought I password-protected this thing! Oh for the love of ---

I'll keep this entry brief. I took Kaidan and Liara and we raided the base where the pirates were holding Nassana's sister captive. I hate snipers. I kind of wish I could use a sniper rifle; it would have made this mission a little easier.

Anyway, it took a while, but we finally took out all the pirates outside the base, then took out everyone inside the base, including an Asari that knocked me to the ground with her biotics. Good thing my team covered me before the pirates could finish me off. There was no sign of Nassana's sister, but after poking around one of their computers, I discovered that the Asari I killed was Nassana's sister, and she was a slaver! Apparently Nassana was less that truthful with me.

I went back to the Citadel and confronted Nassana about it. She admitted to manipulating me. I should probably be more upset than I was, but considering it did help me take down a group of slavers, I would say it all worked out just fine. Nassana paid me the credits she promised, then added in a license for good measure. Hopefully that is the last time I deal with her again.

After talking with Garrus and Wrex, I have two more assignments to add to the pile: track down Wrex's family armor from Tonn Actus, and track down Dr. Saleon to close a cold case for Garrus.

I need to spend some time deciding if I should head to Feros next, or start completing some of these other assignments.

From the journal of David Shepard:

Shepard, next time you are on the Citadel, pick up some Varen meat.

 - Wrex

Does everyone have my password? This is supposed to be a private journal!

Anyway, I helped out Wrex get his family armor back from Tonn Actus. Dude had a serious posse of armed men. They did not go down easy. Wrex looked pleased... for a Krogan.

Then I went to the coordinates provided by Garrus. We found Dr. Saleon's ship straight away. On board, we were attacked by a bunch of his perverted test subjects. Garrus told me the sick stuff Dr. Saleon was doing before, but this was on a whole other level of sick. After putting them down, we found Dr. Saleon bunkered down in a room. I convinced Garrus to arrest him instead of shooting him, but Saleon got spooked anyway and tried to run so we shot him dead anyway.

Garrus wondered what the point of it all was, why we did not shoot him at first but shot him later. I tried explaining that shooting first and asking questions later was wrong. I think he finally understood... until I talked to him later and he said we should kill Saren when we get the chance. I don't think Garrus is ever going to change.

Next up: lock this journal using biometric security, then go to Feros.

Just went for the first crew tour on the Normandy after taking Kaidan to the Citadel. Christopher Shepard poked his nose into Liara's office to try and sneakily grab his upgrades. Damn Glyph. Got the ammo capacity bonus and was trying to sneak out again. Liara was talking to Joker and as he crept away on tiptoes, he heard Liara say 'Shepard did what. . . '

My question is - has anyone else had that dialogue because I have never heard her say it before and I can't find anything on the internet?
