Is that it? Did you by any chance hang up on the Council in ME1?
Thanks Fraggle. That was it exactly. I think I got an achievement for hanging up each and every time. Although the 'Thug' achievement in Jade Empire still remains my favourite.

Mr Red Caesar
You do know that when it comes to a private journal there is no lock that will keep anyone out. More than one of them know how to hack.
You know that. I know that. David Shepard on the other hand...
From the journal of David Shepard:
Shepard: We're out of ice. Pick up some more the next time we hit the Citadel.
What the ---? I locked this journal using biometric security. How in the blue blazes did you unlock it? And I have email! I check it regularly! Stop using my journal to message me!
Ugh. Moving on...
We finally made it to Feros, just as the Geth were launching another attack. We managed to repel the attack, saving the colony for the time being. We also managed to root out some Geth that were hiding out in the tunnels below the colony. We also killed some wild varren, got the colony's water supply back on line, and destroyed a Geth transmitter that was protected from some very angry Krogan. And we salvaged some fuel cells form a broken truck so the colony could get its power up and running again.
We also met a man in the tunnels that seemed a little crazy. We also talked to some the colonists, and they did not seem quite right either, but considering all the stress from the Geth attacks, it was understandable.
The Geth were bunkered up in Exogeni's headquarters, a repurposed Prothean structure. We too the skyway to the building in a Mako that was lying around for some reason. Don't know why it was there, but I'm grateful. Walking would have taken forever. On the way, we ran into some more colonists, survivors from the Exogeni building. Most seemed pleasant or at least not openly hostile. The only dude that rubbed me the wrong way some company man named Jeong who seemed to care more about the company than the people. One of the workers asked if I would find her daughter Elizabeth who was trapped at Exogeni headquarters.
After some more driving, we finally made it to the Exogeni building, where a Geth ship had parked itself on the side. It had put some kind of field, so we needed to find a way to knock it down, taking down the field and destroying the Geth inside. We quickly ran into Elizabeth who gave us her ID card. We then used her ID card to access a terminal where we discovered the reason for the Geth attacks: the Thorian, a plant underneath the colony that was controlling the colonists. Exogeni had been studying it. And here I thought that 'evil corporations' was a Hollywood myth. I suppose I should have known better after Noveria.
Anyway, we finally found a way to knock that Geth ship off the building by closing some doors on one of its anchors. That was satisfying. With the energy field down, Joker contacted us to tell us the colonists had started going crazy by attacking the ship. We had to hurry back. I also found a log on one of the computers saying Exogeni had shipped some samples to Cerberus. I had already taken care of Cerberus, but it looks like their legacy remains. I will have to take care of that later.
We drove Elizabeth back to her mother. And we got there just in time as Jeong was panicking and about to do something stupid. He said Exogeni wanted the project destroyed, including the colonists. I managed to convince him to spare the colonists while I killed the Thorian. Elizabeth's mother gave me a nerve grenade mod that would incapacitate the colonists.
Back at the colony, we ran into Thorian creepers. I guess we find out where Cerberus got those creatures. Maybe those were the sample sent by Exogeni? Hard to say. The Thorian threw a bunch of the creepers and colonists at us to prevent us from getting to it. I used the grenades to knock out the colonists, and used my gun to shoot the creepers to death.
Those Thorian Creepers are tough. Angry Krogan are easier to take down than those things.
We moved some large shipping containers out of the way to get to the Thorian's lair. Once inside, we saw the Thorian. Not exactly what I expected. That thing was huge. It also vomited out a green Asari. The Asari told us it had made a deal with Saren, then Saren ordered his Geth to kill it so now it did not trust any species.
The Thorian had a bunch of roots lodged into the ground, but it they looked weak. We managed to shoot all the nodes -- while dodging more green Asari and creepers -- which caused the Thorian to fall to its death in big hole. This freed the colonists from its control. It also freed a purple-skinned Asari. Apparently she was offered up to the Thorian in exchange for information, and the Thorian somehow used her to create the green-skinned Asari. I'm beginning to hate this galaxy.
Anyway, this Asari, Shiala, said she gave Saren a cipher. Basically, the cipher is a viewpoint that would allow me to understand the vision I got from the beacon. She mind-melded with me and gave me the cipher, but the vision still made no sense. Later, back on the ship, Liara mind-melded with me as well, but it was still pointless.
Anyway, Shiala offered to stay with the colony to help them rebuild. I told her that was a good idea and we left.
Virmire beckons, but I am going to start taking on all these other missions that have been building up in the past week.
P.S. PLEASE DO NOT USE MY JOURNAL! IT IS FOR MY PERSONAL USE ONLY!
You're a sensitive weenie. -- Garrus.
P.S.S. Screw you!
From the journal of David Shepard:
Shepard, I have been studying human history and I have a question. What is the human fascination with a species called "cats"? -- Liara
Once again, to everyone who is posting messages in my private journal: I have email. Send me an email message. Do not use my journal as a messaging device.I am getting tired of this bullcrap.
Anyway, I managed to save all the scientists from the biotic terrorists at the Sirta Foundation lab. That was very tricky. I nearly died a few times. I also got attacked by another Thresher Maw while I was on the planet. Shame they are not edible; Wrex has a big appetite.
Then I went to some other planet, but I did not find much of interest there. There was a building there, but it was locked and no one appeared to be home. Perhaps they were eaten by the two Thresher Maws nearby.
No idea what I am going to say to Liara.
I am allergic to cats.
Spoiler
Jacob's ghost is looking awfully corporeal.
Also, you whacked both Tali and Garrus so I'm curious if you killed Wrex in ME1 (I know I could search the thread) and are going "no ME1" squad for the next game. Obviously Liara must join but you can kill her off too if you have low EMS.
Yeah I'm not sure why Jacob showed up in the rescue scene and not Grunt.Jacob's ghost is looking awfully corporeal.

Shepard - you do know there is such a thing as an airlock.
EDI.
I will also post this to your email as you requested.

Hmm... I'll just post these pics instead...

Unfortunately for Emma Shepard, i just downloaded this:

Is that the new one? Let me know how you like it. I have the first one in my play list, but right now I've been drawn back into Shadows of Mordor and FTL. I also have the DotA 2 itch again which I need to make sure that doesn't eat up as much time as I once let it!

Ha ha! Of course this is still ME1 and EDI does not exist yet.
From the journal of David Shepard:
Okay, so it looks like I finally have secured this journal so only I can access it. Unless they decided to wait until later. Crap, now I am going to obsessing over this for days.
Kind of a busy day today. I decided to see what happened to that missing survey team I heard about on the news. Turns out they had been turned into husks, like the colonists on Eden Prime. They may seem brainless, but they know how to open big mining doors. Liara's singularity was very useful. Liara said she had heard of this type of thing before; machine cultists, she said. I saw a lot of the same spikes I saw on Eden Prime, "Dragon's Teeth" someone called them. Here's a scary thought: did the Geth plant these things all over the galaxy over the past 300 years? Or did they get them from someone -- or something -- else. I shudder to think about it.
Next, I raided a base and killed one the crime bosses Helena Blake told me about. One down, one more to go.
Then I saved Chairman Burns from biotic extremists. I hate fighting large groups of biotics, but it helps when you have two biotic weapons of your own. Kaidan and Liara really pulled through for me, like they always do. There is a good reason I like bringing them along everywhere.
Time to take a small break, then go hunt down the second crime boss.
I took Joanne in to ME3:
Ha ha! Of course this is still ME1 and EDI does not exist yet.
Is this facts and logic? ![]()
Well, after almost 2 weeks of doing nothing at all in ME2 (what can I say, got sucked up a bit in Inquisition and The Walking Dead
), I started LotSB yesterday.
I returned to Illium to inform Liara about intel on the Shadow Broker which I had gotten from Cerberus earlier. She saw data about Feron, the drell that helped her recover my body. He was alive, and she was very happy that she got the chance to get to him... wherever he is. She wanted to go home to think about this, plan some things, and we agreed to meet up in her apartment later.
When Jack, Miranda and I arrived, a Spectre called Tela Vasir was present. Someone had tried to kill Liara! F*ck, hope she's okay!
I helped Vasir sifting through Liara's stuff, and we found out that she's headed to the Dracon Trade Center. Vasir knew where it was and we took her car to get there, but just as we arrived, a huge explosion shook the building. Oh what the hell, are they doing all this just to get to Liara?!
Vasir and my team split up, with us covering the lower levels and Vasir heading to the roof. It was messy inside and we soon stumbled upon the first Shadow Broker agents. Whatever Liara was doing, it had caused quite a stir. We proceeded and killed more agents on our way until we met Vasir again. I saw a dead salarian - Sekat, which Liara was supposed to meet. I don't like this...
Not a second later Liara showed up though, drawing her gun on Vasir! I told her Vasir is on our side, but Liara said she's the one who tried to kill her...? What is going on? So Vasir just... used me to get to Liara? Crap.
Vasir attacked and then fled, Liara running right after her. We struggled to catch up as we found some more agents in our way, but we made it after a while, just to see Vasir taking off in a car. Liara jumped in a cab and Jack and I did the same. Time for a little chase...

Also... "Have you ever wrestled a varren for money?" ![]()

And I could never kill Liara. She and I are an item.
In case you change your mind. EMS has to be below 2000 and her on the beam run to be killed
Or if ems is below 1750, destroy is the only ending you can choose, and she isn't taken on the beam run, she will die. The door to the Normandy doesn't open suggesting that everyone on board is dead.
I defeated Cerberus at the Battle of the Citadel. Javik drove a skycar and even though he didn't appear to know what he was doing everyone got out alive.
Cranked the textures up to very high for MOAR graphics.

From the journal of David Shepard:
With Kaidan and Liara's help, I took down the second crime boss for Helena Blake. I wanted to take Wrex, but he had diarrhea and took a huge dump in the airlock. Gosh that was nasty. Crap everywhere! Yuck. Took me forever to clean it. And I ended up having to clean it because apparently everyone else was doing super important work and could not be delegated to clean it up (except Wrex, but he still had diarhhea).
It is a big galaxy out there. Time to plot a new course.
Yup. I really enjoyed the first one, and this seems to be an improvement.
I've still got SoM to finish as well, I sort of just gave up on it.
The story got a "meh" from me and my guy Shamus Young wrote a great piece on why it doesn't fit with the themes of Lord of the Rings. On the one hand, the developers were adamant that this isn't The Lord of the Rings and is a separate story in Middle Earth, but on the other hand it is supposed to be canon and does touch events of the books.
I saved Grissom Academy again from cerberus.
