Quarians and Geth have peace but it wasn't easy Honestly, the Quarians pissed Fatima off and she told them if they didn't stand down, she'd let the Geth blow them out of the damn sky. Tali would have believed that if she wasn't looking in Fatima's face...she was just tired of the shullbit lol.

Started Leviathin(sp?)...Councilor Tevos reached out to Fatima first but that can wait.

Tarrik slowly regains his power. Wielding the weapon of his race and accompanied by another Prothean, this reminds him of the Reaper War 50000 years ago.

After saving the female krogan in order to broker alliance with the krogan

Spoiler

he went on liberating a planetary defense cannon from Cerberus (Video) and dealt with the Rachni infestation on Utukku (Video). After that, he decided to liberate a Benning from Cerberus forces

Spoiler

Bonus video: Headless Husk :D

So I loaded a previous Jane Shepard (Adept) save on Archangel's recruitment, and yup, totally missed picking up the SMG upgrade. So I replayed the Eclipse part again, and this time I did it on the first try, unlike when I was recording earlier because... pressure to perform? I have no idea.

Still not sure if I want to post this stuff to YouTube or not. .

William decided to meet with the Salarian, Turian and Krogan (his old buddy Wrex) heads of state since it was on his way back to the Citadel. The meeting was tense because the only thing Wrex wanted was a cure for the genophage and not surprisingly the Salarians weren't all that thrilled with that idea. From a mole, Wrex also knew the Salarians were holding some female Krogan who had survived Maelon's experiments. Well the mole turned out to be William's old buddy Mordin but, as with all things William was involved with, getting the lone surviving female out was trickier than expected when Cerberus decided to pay an unexpected visit. Wired didn't exactly make things easier by jumping onto the base and then commenting about eating Salarian liver. Javik just encouraged him by proclaiming it to be a delicacy in his time. William thinks Wrex and Javik are going to be great friends.

Eventually, the female was safely extracted and Mordin came along to produce a genophage cure. Wrex was extremely protective of the female although William got the feeling she could handle herself just fine. William was pleased that he and Mordin had made the correct decision when they saved Maelon's data since it looked like that was going to be the only thing that allowed Mordin to cure Eve's illness before working on the genophage cure. Both Wrex and the Turian Primarch had some additional stuff that they wanted William's help with but he put off that until he had a chance to go back to the Citadel.

At the Citadel, William was incredibly busy but at least he looked super cool in his leather jacket. He checked in on Kaidan (giving him some whiskey he had picked up earlier), caught up with Thane and Miranda, had a drink with James, encouraged Steve to let go of his pain over losing his husband, gave EDI some ideas on how to get Joker to express his affection for her, met up with Liara and Garrus, used Liara's Shadow Broker connections to identify a merc group he could use if he could extract them from behind Reaper lines, told an ambassador he would help find his missing son, sweet talked a reporter into supporting the war instead of playing gotcha journalism with him (it took everything he had to not slug her), talked to Aria about harnessing some merc groups for the war effort and helped a SPECTRE named Jondam Bau to identify a possibly indoctrinated Hanar.

He managed to get two of the merc groups in line and he had a plan for the third. And he prevented the Hanar home world from being completely defenseless when the Reapers arrived. The last task he accomplished with the help of his old squadmate Kasumi Goto who had fed information from her old lover's greybox to the SPECTRE. She wasn't all that keen on another suicide mission but she was quite willing to help with getting materials for building the Crucible. Especially after William mentioned how much high level tech would just be lying around.

Now it was time to head back to Tuchanka to see if Mordin could get that cure made and figure out a way to get it to every Krogan. And try to find the Primarch's lost son and/or figure out why Cerberus was hanging around on Tuchanka.

Jane Shepard (Adept) routed the Blood Pack, then survived the Blue Suns and got Garrus out alive (barely) from Omega. Once he was fit for duty -- much quicker than he should have been -- she took him and Miranda to a space prison to get Jack, only for the warden and his Blue Suns merc band to try and capture, then kill Shepard. So Shepard started a prison riot, killed the warden and some of his lackeys, then took Jack aboard the ship.

on to Korlus to pick up a Krogan Warlord! (Or not, as we all know by now).

Frank Shepard had a bit of shore leave on the Wii U section of the Citadel.  He recruited the Bloodpack gang and the Eclipse while manipulating Sayn to kill Jonas Sedaris.  Jondum Bau met his end but Frank managed to stop the virus from spreading to the Hanar network.  While in the Presidium, EDI attempted to broach the topic of human-synthetic romance.  The mere image of frisky action on metal made Frank cringe.

Last night, Jane Shepard (Adept) went to Korlus to recruit a Warlord. She found a gang of Blue Suns mercs, some Krogan, and a deranged lunatic named Jedore running the whole thing. And Warlord Okeer did not seem to care about any of it except that it afforded him the opportunity to create a "perfect Krogan". Well he started to care when crazy Jedore decided to burn the whole thing down. Jane stopped Jedore, but Okeer died saving his perfect Krogan. So Jane took the Krogan back to the Normandy then let it out of the tank. He called himself "Grunt".

Now the Illusive Man wants to speak to Jane in the conference room.

The Adept really shines on this mission, even a low-level Adept. I had some trouble in one spot where I died several times (and once when I reloaded when Garrus and Miranda refused to stay upright), but overall it went smoothly. I actually beat the last fight first try without much trouble; Using Stasis certainly helps. I usually forget that I have Stasis sometimes.

Love when you send those krogan flying down the ramp :D Adept is really good at that. I also like to use Garrus's Concussive Shot to knock them to the abyss ;)

William cured the genophage but the cost was high. He took Mordin's death hard, even having his recurring nightmare afterwards. Only this time, Mordin's voice was included. At least Bakara and Wrex look like they will be great leaders, especially Bakara. And the Krogan were working well with the Turians.

The Salarians weren't happy but their Counselor did tell William that he had some concerns about Counselor Udina and that he would like to talk the next time he was on the Citadel. William decided to do some of those missions that Hackett had been asking him to do before heading to the Citadel. So he grabbed some Reaper tech from one place and then decided to go check out the possible Rachni sightings that Wrex reported. And was very happy to see Grunt there. Now to figure out what's going on.

Started a NG+ run in ME3 with Jackie Shepard (Infiltrator). I do not plan to play the full way through (yet); this is just for something I want to try out in the near or far future. Just finished Mars and am on the Citadel for the first time.

Today my Shep partied, woke up hungover entwined with his Miranda, then he finally got top spot on the Armax Arsenal Arena scoreboard.

Shore leave over and back to the business of trying to save the galaxy.

Busy day for Garrett Shepard, the Prothean Soldier

First, saving a Turian platoon from the Reapers

Spoiler

and making sure that they would complete their mission (Video). Next, tricking Krogan into thinking that the genophage was cured (Video) and stopping Udina from killing the Council (Video). And last, but not least, saving some Ex-Cerberus scientists (Video), capturing a fighter base on Noveria (Video) and hunting some Banshees on Mesana

Spoiler

Tarrik's power has almost returned to its prime. After yet another mission, the fusion of minds will complete and the galaxy will meet another Prothean!

I think this was the first time I've killed all the Harvesters on the Turian platoon mission. Particle Rifle + Warp Ammo + Dark Channel = Win! I also love when the Atlas pilot melts before the Atlas explodes, looks awesome - Link :D

Played some more quickly with Jackie Shepard (Infiltrator) in ME3, completed Manae.

I do not have as many credits as I had originally thought, so I will have to play a lot more before I can afford the Black Widow and upgrade it to level V. Bummer.

It is so jarring to go from Mass Effect 2 Insanity and then jump into Mass Effect 3 single player Insanity and have it seem so easy, especially the Infiltrator and I am not even using Cloak. Also, so nice to be able to use the Saber right away instead of ignoring it completely since you get it so late otherwise.

How many Harvesters does it take to screw in a light bulb?

Idk but they sure are swarming this planet Dr. Ann Bryson is on. James calls them wormnecks...first time he made Fatima laugh out loud cause usually she's just shaking her head about him. She's not looking forward to telling Ann about her Dad...bit of a softie with scientists, this one.

I crawled out of my dark (Dragon Age) hole and finally finished ME2 today! :wizard: Can't believe it took me almost 4 months... damn distractions

I will talk to the remaining crew tomorrow, and also will probably play Arrival then, but I'll rush through as usual and on Casual, haha. Then it's on to ME3, and I hope I will play more regularly now again. Anyway, so let's see how it went and who we unfortunately lost along the way :P

Jack, Legion and I boarded the Heretic Station and shot our way through the geth. Sometimes it was hard to not shoot Legion by mistake. His hacking talents were of great use however and we made it back in one piece - the heretics destroyed. Unfortunately Tali and Legion had a little fallout afterwards, because Legion was about to send vulnerable data about the quarians to the other geth. I told him to scratch his plans. I don't see a reason to not trust the machine, but let's not overdo it. He backed down for now.

Then EDI informed me that the IFF was nearly installed and that we'd have to take the shuttle to our next location. Miranda gathered everyone and we took off.

We weren't gone for long when we got a message saying that the Normandy crew had been abducted by Collectors! What the f*ck. We got back as soon as possible and I was glad that at least Joker was still here. He had tried his best under the circumstances, but now... it was time to take the fight to the Collectors.

Joker set course and I retreated to my cabin to check some more things... I was deep in thoughts when I heard the door, and when I turned around I was surprised to see Jack. Couldn't believe she came. She really took some time to make up her mind about us, but I didn't care. She was here now. She cried in my arms, I kissed her, I wanted to make it better for her, wanted to love her. We spent our remaining time in my bed, cuddling, and then duty called... damn all this Collector and Reaper sh*t.

We passed through the Omega 4 relay and fended off some enemies, then crashlanded on the Collector base. We had to make a plan, splitting our team in two. I didn't like it, but it was a good way to keep enemies busy from two sides. While Jack, Miranda and I helped Tali proceed through the ventilation shaft that led to the central chamber where everyone was supposed to meet up, Zaeed led the other team. We made it through alright and we regrouped, but just as the door was about to shut, something hit Tali.

She dropped to the floor. I couldn't believe it, she was... dead. For a moment time stood still, I was shocked, but we had to go on. We all knew we could die on this mission. I'll never forget you, Tali'Zorah vas Normandy.

We found our crew... Kelly, Dr. Chakwas, everyone was alright. I sent Zaeed back with them and we continued with the next plan. A biotic bubble would take three of us through the seeker swarms. I took Mordin and Jacob with me while Miranda protected us. Samara led the team that headed through the main passage. She's been alive longer than any of us, so I hope with her experience they will make it through.

Everything went fine right until the end. Miranda couldn't hold up the bubble long enough and the seekers got Jacob. F*ck. He was an alright dude.

And as if Tali and Jacob weren't enough, Samara took a hit and died too when the rest of us regrouped again. Sh*t sh*t sh*t.

But it was now or never, we were so close to finish this, and together with Jack and Miranda, I pushed on, through more enemies. Then EDI revealed that they are building a Reaper here, a human Reaper. Sh*t gets more crazy within the hour. Fortunately, we could stop it. It crashed down and I was about to destroy the base, but the Illusive Man called in and convinced me to keep it. I know he's not trustworthy, but with the Reapers breathing down our necks, he won't be as stupid as to use the base for not fighting them...

I set the timer for a radiation pulse that would get rid of the Collectors, and I was relieved it was done, except it wasn't. The human Reaper thing came back and we had to fight it once again, but finally it was truly over. We made it back to the Normandy safely, and I couldn't believe our luck so many made it out. Including Jack. I think what we could both use right now is some more time together...

Pictures!

Spoiler

Oh my, Jack's romance is super great in ME2 (especially the last scene!), can't wait for more scenes with her <3

I didn't play any ME today, but I did look at the  ME trilogy games thinking of what I could do next when I start playing again. For now, I will finish my DA2 playthrough.

Out of curiosity. Do you side with any side in DA2 or are you more everyone shut up and get along?

I really tried to finish ME1 today but had too many distractions. And I also blame Daylight Savings Time. <_<  Think my boss will mind if I call in sick tomorrow?  :D

Here's my Paragon Infiltrator, and eventual Kaidanmancer, Marah Shepard:

Spoiler

Yesterday I did the early game stuff, got Liara, turned off the fusion torches on the asteroid, and I let the hostages die and kept Balak alive for the Alliance. Today was:

- Noveria

- Saved the Rachni queen

- Shot my way through the Luna base

- Found Wrex's family armor

- Found Dr. Saleon

- Took care of the Cerberus base

- (OR DID I? DUNDUNDUN)

- Did a "favor" for Nassana Dantius

- Landed on Feros

All that's left is finishing up Feros, the Geth quest for Tali, Virmire, then Ilos and the Citadel.

When I play as a mage, I always side with the templars. When I play as a warrior or rogue, most of the time I side with the templars. This playthrough, I will be siding with the templars

Nothing really interesting. Had some problems with windows 10 and had to return to windows 7. So I lost my ME1 saves and for a while I am just playing MP matches until I can solve the win 10 issues. So I will restart my canon run.

Psi Trophet is really beautiful cinematically. I always thought that was a promise of what newer games would look like in the series. Fatima managed to keep Dr. Ann Bryson out of a catatonic state to find Leviathan. Promptly told them that this entire thing was their fault because if we're trusting the official story, it IS. They agreed to help, on their on terms.

Talked to Councilor Tevos and headed to Thessia. Oh Asari...y'all been naughty and they paid for it dearly. Kai Loser showed up...Fatima will enjoy killing him. Tracked Cerebus to Sanctuary and in the middle of all this, Fatima realized she hasn't heard from Miranda in a while...

Played Svetlana in ME3 last night, did Menae, then Eden Prime (I love bringing Garrus on this one so Javik gets to complain about Turians, Asari and Humans. Edi is funny as well) then finished off the evening with Grissom. This was my first time with Jack dead, amazing given I've played ME3 to the end at least 20 times. I must say I quite liked it without her, excepting Prangley just doppelganging Jack in Orion hall. The rest of the dialogue was really good and the mood was really on point with her gone. Planning on doing the genophage arc tonight along with the coup.

I haven't talked to Ash since Mars, and I was impatient with her on Mars and have no Kirrahe and Thane so Udina will have his doctored video. I'm not going to lower my weapon so we'll see if Ash survives what comes.

William let the Rachni queen go again and she has been helping with the Crucible. He was sorry that Grunt's platoon was wiped out but very happy that Grunt himself survived. Then he went to Benning to try to figure out why Cerberus was trying to abduct colonists there. He managed to save a bunch of colonists and he found the dog tags of the Ambassador's son. He was not looking forward to telling the Ambassador about his son. Trying to postpone that task, he went to Noveria to take down a Cerberus fighter base. It was a bit of a grind but with Garrus and Javik, he devastated Cerberus using particle rifles and the occasional sniper rifle for the shield guys. Finally, he went relic hunting and grabbed some ancient pieces that should make that black market arms dealer happy and get General Oraka to back off the Blue Suns.

Not being able to put it off any longer, William headed to the Citadel only to find Cerberus trying to take over. He gathered his trusty team and, after making contact with Thane, headed over to C-Sec to help Bailey get it back under control. He learned that the Salarian Counselor had been supposed to meet with the Executor so he made his way to the Executor's office where he found the Executor dead but the Salarian Counselor alive. Until this weird guy with a sword tried to kill him. Thane stopped him but wasn't able to kill him and took a sword to the gut instead.

The Counselor said that Counselor Udina was working with Cerberus and that he was planning on turning over the rest of the Counselors to TIM. After a long chase through the Presidium and a more exciting than expected ride on an elevator, William confronted Udina. It was tense for a few minutes because Kaidan was unknowingly assisting Udina. Thankfully, William was able to talk Kaidan down and ended up, shooting Udina himself. Unfortunately the weird Cerberus guy got away. And Thane died. And William couldn't find the Ambassador anywhere to let him know about his son. At least it looks like Joker and EDI will finally get together. And he got to dance with Jack (much to her embarrassment).

Finally he decided that he would go check on this Dr. Bryson guy that Admiral Hackett wanted him to meet. Hopefully, nothing bad would happen there....

Started ME2. During recruitment mission of Garrus, I decided to end the playthrough. Will start over shortly with a new playthrough.
