Started ME2. During recruitment mission of Garrus, I decided to end the playthrough. Will start over shortly with a new playthrough.
Just wasn't feeling right? Caught Shepard in a bad camera angle?

I don't know what it was. I was in cover firing at the gunship when I just said to heck with it. It had nothing to do with the characters.
I will start another playthrough shortly

Just finished another playthrough of ME3. I was procrastinating doing the final mission today. I just really wasn't up to having -my- character die again. So, I decided to try that MEHEM mod and let me tell you, having finished the game both before and after the EC, I just wish Bioware would've done this ending themselves. It leaves me feeling much better about it all and I'm never doing another playthrough without it ever again.
Hell, I might even go another round right after whilst usually I am just done with ME for months after finishing ME3.

Continued Jackie Shepard's journey into ME3 (NG+ Infiltrator), trying to amass enough credits to purchase the Black Widow and upgrade it V before Sur'Kesh.
Ran around the Citadel for a bit, raided a Cerberus Lab, then invaded Omega.
After I finish the Omega DLC (definitely not tonight), I should have enough credits.
I case anyone is wondering, here is what I plan to do: I once stated that I thought the Black Widow is kind of a wasted purchase for a Sniper Infiltrator. So I want to actually put that theory to the test. In my opinion, the Black Widow may be the best sniper rifle for a sniper infiltrator on boss-type (super-elite) enemies only. I feel that it is wasted on all other enemies. So I figure, why not try it out to see if I am off-base or if my musings have some merit.
So what I want to do is take a Sniper Infiltrator on Su'rKesh, which I think has a nice mix of shielded enemies, regular enemies, some Cerberus Guardians, and one Atlas mech. I want to compare the performance of the Viper versus the Black Widow. My theory: Viper and Black Widow will perform about the same on all enemies except the Atlas mech.
I plan to use Cloak (specced for damage and sniper damage), Disruptor Ammo, Marksman (specced for rate of fire to increase performance under cloak), and the passive specced for sniper damage at rank 6.
(Personally, I prefer shotgun Infiltrators because CQC with cloak is fun).

Xenia Shepard. Does anyone remember her? hahaha. Click on the playthrough in my signature ![]()
Reapers are here. That can't be. I still have to make tea. Someone delay them. I want everything just right. Ok. You. Yeah you. Go in the kitchen to get the spoons and place them on the table. I will get the sugar and cups. Boy oh boy. I'm I nervous. Good. The kettle is whistling. Perfect. Ding dong. Hello Mr. Reaper. Welcome to my home. If you don't mind, I like for you to sit at the head of the table. You must be tired from your long voyage from darkspace. Here. Have some tea.
Mmmm. This isn't suppose to happen. This organic is looney. I'm here to harvest the organics. I will admit the tea does taste good. I'll play along only to have a second cup of tea.
Tell me. What do you think of Earth? You look tired. I'll tell you what. Once you finish your cup of tea, you go upstairs and get some sleep and you can tell me everything later. Hey you. See to it that Mr. Reaper has an extra blanket.
Why couldn't the organics from previous cycles be as nice as this organic? The bed feels soft. Yes. Some rest will do me fine.
Good morning Mr. Reaper. I'm going to Mars right now. Your welcome to whatever you want. The fridge is full and I believe there's some sport event on ESPN if you like that kind of thing. Ta ta.
I hop in my Normandy car with my neighbors, Ashley and James. Ok. Mars here we come.
James keeps the engine running while I check on someone who has something that can do something. It s the asari alien known as Liara. My, my. She found a plan that can destroy the reapers. Why would you do that? Mr. Reaper seemed like a nice reaper. It treated me with respect. I can't let this happen. Ashley agrees. She told me she had a reaper at her place playing a video game called Mass Effect before we left for Mars. LIara gives us a weird look.
We get the plans, but not before a group calling itself, The Heman Reaper Hater Club, tried to kill us. I'm sorry fellas for killing you, but I don't like violence.
Ok. James brings the Normandy car around. We head to the Citadel. As we head to the Citadel, I check my home security system and see Mr. Reaper is eating popcorn while watching the movie... Is that the movie Gone With the Wind? Wow. I show this to Liara. She gives me the what-the-heck is your problem look. Fine.
There's the Citadel. Can't believe the price of parking went up this year. I'm greeted by Commissioner Bailey. He's setup a meeting with the 4 of us. No not us, the government official people. They're called the 4 of us. Yeah I know. Lame. Ok. Lets go see them.

Ooh, interesting. Be sure to post your findings, since I'm playing Infiltrator next I'm curious about it ![]()
Last night I played around a bit with my Soldier setup on Mars, and I think I have already found my team to go with and what main powers to use. That was much quicker than I expected, it was so complicated for me to find my final setup in ME2 ![]()
I plan to be running with Liara and Ash once she's available.
Liara mostly Singularity to combo with my bonus power Slam, Ash and I both Amplified Concussive Shot, Cryo Ammo for the team, Incendiary for me. Went quite well. I put only 2 points into ARush to use it more often, so far I really like it, but I'll try out the maxed version too.
Damn combos, why are you so much fun? ![]()
I've also finished Arrival DLC the day before, so I'm basically good to go to get into ME3 anytime now. Might do a bit tonight then already, but let's see.

Yeeeeah... so you know how I wrote that I would not finish the Omega DLC with Jackie Shepard that night? So I ended up finishing the Omega DLC that night. I went to bed much later than I wanted to, but not as late as I thought I would. I keep forgetting how quickly the infiltrator (or any class really) can plow through missions in this game.

But first...Fatima promised Aria she would help her take Omega back. She only agreed to help out of curiosity...seeing Aria actually do more than order other people around was worth it. General Petrovsky greeted them...tried to pop fly about Fatima leaving Cerberus...she'd remember that jibe later. Crash landed on Omega and fought to a bunker. On the way, met Nyreen Kandros...gave her a hard time at first..they eventually talked it out and Fatima understood her better after that. Aria was pissed because Fatima didn't overload the reactor...she does not believe in sacrificing innocent folk and as far as this occupation by Cerb was concerned, Omega's people were innocent. And in an ironic twist, Nyreen ended up sacrificing herself to protect civilians from these terrifying creatures called Adjutants. That was the final straw...The General had to die...and so he did. Aria kissed Fatima...she was surprised her lips were so soft with all the harshness that come out of them and couldn't wait to tell Liara THAT story.
Fatima needs a break...Hackett said something about shore leave and Anderson's apartment...
P.S. Bioware...Omega's loading screens were pretty fly. If you can somehow incorporate that and the cinematic beauty of Psi Trophet in ME:A, I might give new booty a try....used.

Played Cerberus Headquarters last night with Adept Shep + Energy Drain + Hurricane. Took James (with squad Incendiary ammo). Shep was detonating biotic combos left and right (grenades!). Kai Lame was over in 90 seconds.

Finished my Douche Shepard run. Although he wasn't such a jerk in the end since his roleplay really developed during these games in a way which felt very natural. I... actually think he's my favorite character now
.
I think I'll have to start a Dumba** Shepard run next. Meaning s/he will deliberately make the worst choices possible. While "Douche" was a generally aggressive Renegade, that doesn't mean he wasn't good at his job. Thus he didn't make choices which he would deem stupid/unhelpful. Like, why let this wounded person who could offer information die? Why have disloyal followers? Now... my upcoming Dumba** Shepard, s/he'll be a different story.

Liara asked William to check out a distress beacon in Asari space. It was good to meet up with Samara there but horrifying to see what had become of the Ardat-Yakshi that had been staying at this monastery. William prevented her from killing herself and let her daughter stay at the monastery. Then William went to check out reports of some defecting Cerberus scientists and found Jacob there. After fighting off a bunch of Cerberus goons he got everybody to safety. Unfortunately neither Samara nor Jacob wanted to come back to the Normandy. Samara because she intended to go to the front lines and Jacob because he fell in love with one of the scientists and didn't want to leave her. So much for helping to save the galaxy Jacob.
After that, William picked up a few objects that people wanted and headed back to the Citadel to pick up supplies and finish up some stuff before heading to find the Quarians and ask for their help. He seriously underestimated the amount of people he needed to meet with or talk to or give stuff to or intervene with. And things did get a little weird for a bit. He had dinner with Kaidan and a drink with Steve and both seemed to think he was interested in them as more than brothers. He did let them down easy at least. And he reaffirmed with Liara that she was the only one for him (although he thought they had already had this discussion). Happily, she felt the same way.
Otherwise, he met up again with Zaeed when he had to save the Volus ambassador from Cerberus. Again, Zaeed didn't want to come back on the Normandy but he did track down some of his old merc contacts to help out with the war. William also ran into his old nemesis Balak on the Citadel (after wandering around the Citadel for 1/2 hour before realizing that he had not enabled the tracking program in the SPECTRE HQ, duh!). But instead of killing him like he wanted to, he talked him into giving William the surviving Batarian fleets. That one left a sour taste in his mouth but it was for the good of the war. Also, Joker and EDI were making a cute couple and Javik gave an inspirational speech to people in the Embassy area. (OK, William had to give him a little encouragement to make it inspirational instead of terrifying.) Garrus 'won' a shooting contest on the Presidium, as well as the 'who's the better soldier' boasting competition with James. James got a new tattoo and decided that he would join the N7 program, unofficially for now.
William is going to need a lot of sleep on the way to see what's up with the Quarians. Hopefully, they'll just agree to help out without making him jump through all these hoops...

Just finished my playthrough (Destroy of course). Joker and Javik exited the Normandy, followed by Kaidan.
Garrus was the one who didn't put Shepard's name on the memorial wall (romanced Miranda). Interesting, never had him do that with Maleshep before.

About 15,000 - 20,000 credits short for Jackie Shepard (NG+ Infiltrator) in ME3, so I recruited Javik. So now I should enough credits to upgrade the Black Widow to V and respec Shepard and change bonus powers.
Sniper build, here I come!!! Later this week.
Also, started editing another ME2 Insanity Adept Guide video. No one has told me stop making them yet so I figured I would continue. Of course, I don't think anyone has been watching them either, so there is that.

- I can't trust Wrex. Had to kill him.
- Also had to kill an Asari helping Saren
- Ashley got into trouble and I couldn't save her either.
- This mission has had more casualties than I prefer
- Headed to the Citadel for support
- The Council does not plan to support me, and Udina's a lying SOB

I talked to him every chance I had, but Javik, Liara and Kaidan were my preferred squad (Adept Shep took at least one of them on every mission), and when I took someone else it was usually James. I think I took Garrus on four missions, tops - and two of them were N7 side-missions.

Yeah, the same happened to me last time. It was Garrus who held the plate, but I didn't take him with me a lot, my squad was Javik and James, and then Liara was the most used afterwards. I was really surprised it wasn't her holding that plate. In addition, Garrus also was the one to tell Joker to leave, and the second squad mate coming out of the Normandy after James instead of Javik... and I talked to everyone after every mission each time. It's kinda weird, I don't know what's the trigger for these sections then.

I'm guessing you talk with him more than the others. If that's the case, that will cause him to hold the nameplate.
On playthroughs that I didn't romance anyone or romanced Miranda, it was Samantha who held the nameplate. I talked with her the most. Had I talked with the squadmates on the Citadel, it might've been one of them since Samantha has no scenes on the Citadel
