Kahoku was murdered.
Tali attained take my Geth data for your pilgrimage rank friendship level with Shepard.
Shepard attained I'm comfortable enough to say I like you friendship rank with Wrex.
Shepard is torn between Ashley and Liara.
An organised crime syndicate has been broken up.
Rana Thanoptis got shot.
Ashley got blowed up.
Liara has an idea of where we need to go.
But we have no way to get there.
It's time to deal with Cerberus.
Or maybe we need them?
Set a course for Noveria Joker, we're done here.
This has been several sessions worth of updates but I was only able to round up the screenshots today, sooo...
Frank Shepard decided to get drunk with the good doctor after the previous campaign in Tuchanka.

Then, it was back in Tuchanka to save Victus Jr. It turns out that the kid was still an immature brat.

Frank did find out from Victus that there was a Turian bomb sitting nice and pretty in Tuchanka. Lt. Victus sacrificed himself to diffuse the bomb. Oh well. One turian aboard the Normandy is good enough. Two would be too much.

Garrus didn't like hearing that so, he challenged Frank to a shoot out. Guess who won.

Afterwards, Frank let Javik ruin the hopes of the Citadel denizens. He's always ready for a good troll job.

Miranda was notified of Kai Leng. No matter what plan she creates, Kai Leng will kill her. It's a special Wii U feature.

Then, Shepard begins the Geth Wars Saga. He uncovers Legion strapped in some weird things. Project Overlord, anyone? Regardless, Shepard brings the big gun against the geth prime.

Admiral Moron tried to kill Shepard by taking out the dreadnought. He got what was coming to him!

Afterwards, Frank Shepard goes to the Citadel to take care of some business and talk to Miranda. Aboard the Normandy, Shepard shares his wisdom to the crew regarding geth paranoia.

Frank Shepard goes to the Geth consensus to pull the plug on them. Legion springs the geth prime surprise on Shepard and Commander Shepard isn't too pleased.

Nevertheless, Frank gained a new perspective about the geth. Why risk lives against the reapers when you can toss in expendable robots?

Admiral Koris went sunbathing in Rannoch and needed to be saved. The geth jamming tower was smashed in the process.

While in Rannoch, Tali gets all sentimental. But it turns out they caught the reaper napping. The reaper attempted to talk sense to Frank Shepard, but Shepard wasn't having it.

Admiral Moron attempts to kill the geth, but Frank managed to stop his stupidity. Legion attempted to get more than 60 points while playing ball but instead lost the ball, so he committed suicide. Tali rejoins Shepard's crew of misfits. She knows what's at stake here: her beachfront property.

And after all that, Shepard needed booty on demand, so he called Allers in.

Played some more of Jane Shepard (Adept) in Mass Effect 2.
Replayed the Collector Ship mission to re-choose my bonus weapon to shotguns. It will probably see as much use as my previous choice of assault rifles. (Someone suggested I take shotguns instead of assault rifles. Sure why not; I'm comfortable with both.)
Then I helped Thane find his son Kolyat and stopped an assassination. Encountered a glitch where the conversation with the worker on the catwalks did not trigger. He just stood there with his back to me. Beats the glitch where you fail the mission even though you update Thane correctly.
Then I helped Jack blow up the Cerberus facility she was kept in as a child. Fun!
Next up: Grunt's loyalty mission, Tali's loyalty mission, Kasumi's loyalty mission, Zaeed's loyalty mission, Samara's recruitment mission. Not necessarily in that order.
I should need only two more missions to get Pull Field, then I can start putting more points into Throw. I am trying to save the really wide-open environments for when I have a stronger Throw. Grunt's is wide-open but Varren and Klixen tend to be poor targets for throwing off the map. Kasumi's end fight is wide open, but I have issues in the past where Heavy Throw will get enemies stuck in an invisible ceiling.
Pumped off, I was listening to some Eric The Actor clips while playing through ME:1. The played Men Of War. Wishing that Bioware made a RTS in the Mass Effect universe.
Why did they have to make Miranda look so weird in ME3?

Yvonne Strahovski is a stunning woman but her modelling in both ME2 and ME3 made her look as if she'd been attacked by a swarm of bees. The same for Jessica Chobot.
Both their faces are way too 'puffy'.

I didn't think it was bad in ME2. She did get a bit of a chin "upgrade" lol.
I made a foolish mistake by re-watching some of my older ME2 videos. Now I want to play as a Claymore Soldier again.
So... many... playthroughs... I want to do.
(I need to finish my current Adept playthrough in ME2, then finish Engineer David's trilogy playthrough by importing him into ME3, then play my final Engineer and Infiltrator playthroughs through the trilogy, then I can play some of my ME3 soldiers, infiltrators, and vanguard again, and then....)
Using Area pull then Area Throw is just addictive.Yeah, there are no tech combos in ME2. Biotic combos only became a thing in ME2.

Using Area pull then Area Throw is just addictive.
This is also works in ME1 with Lift on Thorian Creepers so technically there were some sort of combos before ME2.
Except Lift + Throw in ME1 radically sucks because of the insanely long cooldowns, until late in the game when you have a ton of cooldown bonuses. And even then, not too many good Lift + Throw opportunities.
I tend to use Heavy Throw so I can send Krogan flying.
I did a bunch of things today with Jane Shepard (Adept) in ME2:
1. Completed Grunt's loyalty mission. Killed a Thresher Maw on foot, then put Gatatog Uvenk into the radioactive dirt.
2. Completed Tali's loyalty mission. Convinced the Quarian Admiralty Board to find her innocent of all charges.
3. Completed some N7 missions.
4. Recruited Samara.
5. Completed another N7 mission.
6. Completed Samara's loyalty mission. Helped Samara kill Morinth.
7. Recruited Zaeed, then completed his loyalty mission. Punched Zaeed, saved the workers, then persuaded Zaeed to put his revenge on hold for the mission.
8. Completed Miranda's loyalty mission. Spared Niket (he died anyway), then convinced Miranda to talk to her sister.
9. Recruited Kasumi.
And then I spent the next hour failing to beat her loyalty mission. First, I could not get out of the first room alive. Then when I did, I breezed through the next sections fairly easily until I got to the gunship fight, where I failed repeatedly. Some of it was not my fault; the game glitched twice where the gunship went away and never came back and no enemies came up the elevators (always the Adept that does this to me!). But most of the time it was my fault, where Throw would send someone behind me (I thought they were dead) and they would end up killing me. A few times the gunship killed me with rockets somehow; that was frustrating.
And I decided to complete the entire mission with the Locust this time. But I have not used the Locust in so long that I find myself unable to use to any good effect.
I am so angry and frustrated right now.
I am going to try again tomorrow and see how it goes.
Biotic combos were a thing in the first Mass Effect.
You didn't get a nice special effect or explosion noise but it was marvellous fun seeing how high you could get an enemy with Lift/Throw/Singularity.
Just because it wasn't pretty, doesn't mean it wasn't there.
Frank returns to the Citadel after the lengthy Geth Wars saga. He's supposed to meet the asari councilor, but he's busy meeting friends.

As a side note, Liara wasn't keen on a relationship. Maybe it had something to do with the scars. Good thing Kaidan didn't try to hit on Shepard this time around.
Shepard receives a request from the asari high council regarding the Ardat-Yakshi monastery. He goes in to investigate with troll master, Javik.

Frank likes his fights quick and dirty so he fires off his super weapon.

Unfortunately, Javik and Liara got sync killed. Don't worry, it happens a lot to MP folks too! ![]()
Falere gets dragged away by Shepard and Frank saves Samara from gunning herself down. They meet later in the Citadel for a quick chat.

Quick and short episode, this one. ![]()
I'm so glad you linked page 41 a couple of weeks ago. I read the whole thing and it's great.
I'm glad you like them. I enjoy them a lot, as well as Shamus' other writing. I figured I should spread the word!
I've just realized that I haven't been updating this thread with the progress of Halona Shepard!
So here we go ![]()
Finished the rest of the available loyalty mission as Jane Shepard (Adept):
1. Kasumi's loyalty mission (finally!). Let her keep the greybox. I think I only died once this time. And I nearly glitched out the gunship again, but I managed to fix it with a few missiles.
2. Garrus' loyalty mission. Prevented Garrus from shooting both Harkin and Sidonis, because Paragon.
3. Mordin's loyalty mission. Spared Maelon, kept the research data. Again, because Paragon.
4. Jacob's loyalty mission. Secured Ronald Taylor for the Alliance to face justice. I died a bunch on this mission for some reason, probably because I was getting tired from playing so long. (Which seems rather odd since it looks like I did not play that many long missions).
And with that, I hit level 30 got Heavy Throw.
So you know what comes next?
[blank stares]
"Um... no."
Okay, next up is Lair of the Shadow Broker, much later than I usually play it. I usually play it right after the Collector Ship mission. Then Arrival (for the upgrades; sometimes I play it last, other times I play it before the suicide mission). Then Overlord, Derelict Reaper, Legion's loyalty mission, then finally the suicide mission. I am making progress!
After a long long time, I finally continued with my James dialogue hunt today
Did the Geth Dreadnought mission with Tali, and then loaded up my alternate save where Tali is dead, ha. Paired James with Javik first and it was really interesting to see. I look forward to the others. In case anyone here is interested in the James/Javik one, I'll just leave it here ![]()
I've been using the Ghost command to skip through a lot of the tedious side missions in ME2.
Now if only I could find a mod that removes the completion percentage of systems from the Galaxy Map, I would only ever have to go to those that I enjoy doing.
