Actually save every time I approach that area in ME3, just because of that bug.I got Shepard stuck in the floor of the SR-2's cockpit.

You don't need to go that far. If you get stuck, save and reload. You can save even if you're stuck and reloading will get you unstuck.

Is this a bug? I thought it was the reaper tech in Edi taking over (the day of reckoning) and assuming control of you.
Argh, I hate this. I always save in the corridor Are the console versions plagued by this as well? It happens to me on PC all the time. Not even the boss fight against benezia is so bugged.

I don't recall ever encountering any bugs during the Benezia fight, but then I typically just blow my way counterclockwise around Benezia's position.

When she hits you with biotic powers, all sorts of things can happen. You can never get up, be stuck on the ground, inside an object, or end up outside the level and unable to return.
Modern games would be simply unimaginable without the quick save function.

Heh, that sounds frustrating as hell. I must've played ME1 a dozen times or more by now and never had that happen.

So I wound up playing some Citadel. Well, all of it. I just spread it out around Thessia, the conclusion of Leviathan, and Sanctuary.
It's interesting, because this is the most paragony Shepard I have, she had a double-noisy party...
And because Shepard crying over Thane punched me right in the feelbox, damnit.
Now I've just got Cerberus to take down and then Earth. My boytoy suggests seeing if I can finish it tonight, but I'm not sure if my feels can take it.
I forgot how metal Leviathan is. That's a lie, but I always love being reminded. "There is no war! There is only the harvest!" Also, for some reason, Ash was too cool to hang out with me, despite my doing everything I could to try to trigger her invite. Since she has a tendency to catch the deads, I was sad not to get a chance to hang out with her. I did get her to hook up with Vega, which pleased me, since I hadn't seen that before.

When you get to that point of the citadel dlc where you do the meetups with your squad, you have to leave the apartment and go back a few times, to get all the e-mails or invites or whetever. IIRC Ash doesn't ask you to meet her in the bar until after you've been back to the apartment a couple of times. Apologies if you've done that already, but I know from my own experience, I missed a few meet-ups the first time I played the dlc.

There are also 2 hidden meetings of sorts. Joker and Kasumi. You meet them by chance. You need to find a spot on the cassino in order to click on it to have the kasumi scene. As for joker, you meet him at the bar .
In some cases, there are scenes that only trigger when you have done previous material, like the one with james and steve in your new home. Same thing goes for Jack (meet her at the arena first). Traynor and Miranda also have two scenes.

Maybe it got patched. I remember the first time I played Mass Effect on the XBox when it was first released, that fight kept glitching all the time when Benezia used her powers on you. You could end up perma froze, Biotic slumped in some weird geometry. Seemed like it was caused by some combination of hitting the skill-wheel button, then getting hit by the cut-scene Stasis.Heh, that sounds frustrating as hell. I must've played ME1 a dozen times or more by now and never had that happen.

Last time I updated my playthrough I had just finished Thessia. I decided to just push on through to the end, and there's just too much to write about. All I'm going to say is, wow. Insanity was a blast, but also a little bit frustrating at times -- like on Horizon when a banshee fell on my head from above
. Priority Earth at the thanix missiles was intense as hell. Been a long time since I yelled, "oh come on!" at my monitor. To an insanity noob like me banshees are just unfair, heh, but Garrus and James and I held them all off... with a little help from Grunt.
By my count my total number of reloads were 34, just a little worse than once per mission on average, and better than I thought I'd do.

When rescuing Kenson, my soldier just COULD NOT KILL that first wave of enemies that run when she starts hacking the system! There were three of them, and though my usual Revenant+Adrenalin Rush could kill one or two, one of them would skip right past and shoot me from the back. After dying about 3 or 4 times, eventually I just gave up and pulled out the never-used Grenade Launcher. It still took 2 hits on each enemy to stop them, but watching them bounce up to the ceiling was mildly entertaining

In ME3? Because that happened to me too..I was upset because I had to revert to a previous save.
I played hours of ME3 Multiplayer with some buddies. Boy is the Multiplayer fun. Got a taste for the Engineer which is really fun. Just have to find out how to unlock other characters. Should be getting back to the story though with starting Leviathan. 89% Galactic readiness ![]()

Finally made it to shore leave
I always leave the Citadel DLC for just before attacking the Illusive Man's base. It's the best time if you saved all characters.
Right now I'm putting some time into decorating my apartment to my tastes.

I did run back and forth a few times trying to trigger Ash, but no dice.
...Anyway, I totally finished the game at 3am. I love Sunday. Just have to get lots of sleep tonight so no one notices at work tomorrow that I have a Mass Effect 3 hangover.
It was pretty awesome, TBH. I really like how some of the choices flowed, and for the first time, I got James Vega's goodbye in the EC, which made me sad.
Also, for some reason, Garrus put up Shepard's name even though he was the squaddie I took the least. I don't know if the game was sensing Garrus is my favorite, even if I let everyone else get air this playthrough, or if synthesis randomly picks someone to get hugged by EDI or what. It was cool, still. I was kind of hoping it'd be Vega or Ash, since they got bestie status this time around.
...Miranda looks terrifying with synthesis skin, though. Everyone else looked cool, but Miranda looks like a destroyer of worlds.

That whole area must be a mess, when I do get stuck it's always right behind Joker's chair. Finally got smart though and save right before I enter the cockpit.

Finished my game last night too, and picked synthesis as well because I hadn't seen it for quite awhile. I found that everyone having green skin and glowing eyes creeped me out. What makes it worse is inanimate objects, like Joker's hat -- Huh what? -- have the synthesis effect too. In my game it was Kaidan who put shep's name on the wall, and who gave EDI a hug.

Arwen Shepard made a jail break, courtesy of the Reapers. As soon as the 2 kilometer long cuttlefish had killed the Defense Committee she hightailed it to the Normandy to make good her escape. Just before taking off, though, Anderson told her she could have her old command back. Cool. The cuttlefish helped her break out of jail, and now they had gotten her old posting back. Cuttlefish Rule!
Before deciding to turn to piracy, however, Admiral Hackett called and mentioned that Shepard's girl friend was on Mars. Well, Shepard decided she could fit in at least one mission for the Alliance if it meant hooking up with Liara again. So it was off to Mars only to find out her old employer had taken over the base. Not only that, they were trying to kill the blue space-babe. Not cool! They would pay for that. Ashley, who had come along with us, continued with her anti-Cerberus/anti-Shepard crap and Arwen told her to stuff it. Surely, Kaidan would have understood, wouldn't he?
I don't know whether it was Karma or not, but a crazy Cerberus robot ended up beating up Ashley pretty bad, so we decided to take her to the Citadel for help. While there Shepard could meet with the Council like Anderson had asked, although Shepard intuitively knew how that would turn out. No way they were going to listen to anything she had to say after she had hung up on them every time they called.
Shepard met with Dr. Chakwas at the hospital where Ashley was being treated and told her she should continue working in the labs. She then recruited Dr. Michel to serve as the Normandy's doctor.
Once she was done with business on the Citadel Shepard toured the Normandy, talking to her crew. James wanted to spar, so she gave him a bloody nose. James managed to land a few good blows as well. Most importantly, Shepard found her Space Hamster. All is right with the world. All she needs now are some fish for the tank and she will be set.
Next stop was Palaven. The Council may have been worthless, but in a surprise turn of events the Turian Councilor, who had always given Shepard the most trouble, had a suggestion on how Shepard could get help for Earth. Go to Palaven and rescue the Primarch in hopes that he would in turn help out the Alliance. A long shot, I guess, but sure, why not?
On Palaven's moon Menae we met up with our old friend Garrus. That was neat. We also found the new Primarch and brought him back to the Normandy where he started arranging a summit of the Council races. Plus the Krogan. Crap. Shepard has no use for the Krogan. They are right up there with the Reapers and the Rachni as a threat to galactic safety. At least they have been safely neutered to keep that threat in check.
Turns out while we were on Menae EDI decided to get herself a shiny new robot body. Well, at least its more attractive than Arnold, but I think we all know how these things turn out.
Shepard is not sure what she will do next. She will definitely head back to the Citadel to so some shopping. After that we can attend the war summit, or run an errand for Admiral Hackett who wants another Prothean artifact on Eden Prime picked up. That sounds like a disaster waiting to happen based on Shepard's last experience on Eden Prime.
So far I am enjoying my adept run. Shields are something of a problem. I have Fortification as my bonus power right now, but I am thinking about switching over to Reave so that I can detonate biotic explosions on shielded targets. I don't want to be forced into bringing a shield stripper like Garrus or EDI with me. Not that I don't like them, I do. I just want more flexibility in choosing my squad.
