Mordin did not create the Genophage. He updated it because the Krogan were evolving to overcome it. The Genophage is over 1400 years old. Salarians live for 40 years.

^ This. He altered the genophage for the population of Tuchanka so that they wouldn't overcome it. However, he didn't keep it as brutal as it was before (I think), but made it safer and more benevolent (sterilization/infertility instead of stillborns).
He's that good, and if we consider the Mass Effect timeline, his actions might have altered circumstances just enough for Wrex to do his whole thing against his father in a bid for a better future for the Krogan.
At least imo. It's not made super clear.

I would say that the Genophage underwent and number of metamorphoses from title to title. In ME1 it was simply a sterility plague that wasn't 100% effective. In ME2 it was turned into forced birth control. In ME3 it went back to being a sterility plague. At every turn it depended on how the writers wanted us to feel about a certain character, Mordin in ME2, Wrex/Wreav/Eve in ME3. Never mind that the idea of a sentient species having 1000 babies a year for every female is in itself ludicrous.

Last we left off Arwen Shepard she had just finished up Palaven. Following that she did Eden Prime, Grissom, Turian Platoon, Tuchanka, and Coup. She sabotaged the cure and convinced Mordin to go work on the Crucible. Arwen is now on the Citadel safely tucked away in a save file. I am not liking just how handicapped the Adept feels when it comes to shielded enemies. I don't really look forward to doing Omega with her, at least no on insanity.
So I decided to start an NG+ with another toon, this time a Sentinel. Mainly I wanted to fool around with level X weapons, although for some reason the game won't let me upgrade my Lancer to level X yet, even though it doesn't have a problem with the Suppressor. I guess I will need to pick it up again. Beyond the guns (and mods, and Spirit Armor), however, I just love the Sentinel class, both for its durability and its powers.
So far I have done Palaven>Eden Prime>Grissom>Surkesh>Rachni. Wrex is not happy with Shepard, at all, at all, since she destroyed Maelon's research and refused to apologize. I just now finished Omega. First time I have done a paragon run in a long, long time. Normally I go for the kiss. In fact, I think some of the paragon lines were the first time I have ever heard them since I almost never go straight paragon no matter how goody-two-shoes Shepard might be. I was severely tempted, however, to ruin the whole thing by shooting Petrovsky, but I managed to restrain myself. I took a perfectly fine renegon Shepard and turned her into a wishy-washy paragade just for the sake of some variety on this mission. I hope she can recover. Even as durable as the Sentinel is I ended up having to reload twice due to some badly timed grenades. Omega can be quite challenging at times on insanity (which is why I hesitate to do it with my Adept).

You mean Renegon.
It'll be a long time before Aria even maybemaybe goes Paragade.

I said renegon. Not sure what you mean. Do I need to capitalize? And I was talking about Shepard, not Aria. I am pretty sure I can get Shepard back to being renegon.

You can spec Lash at rank 6 to work on shielded enemies. I didn't try it on insanity, but on normal it makes me laugh at how it throws the baddies around. Maybe on insanity you have to be extra careful about where you throw them because they could end up right behind you, still alive and pissed, heh.

I don't like Lash. One reason is the one you mentioned. The other is that the priming period is way too short. What I have been doing instead is to use Reave to prime shielded enemies and then detonate it with Throw.

Took command of the normandy after becoming a spectre. Next, I will talk to my crew, rescue liara from the prothean bubble , locate the majesty, investigate the admiral´s missing men and then head back to the citadel. I´m using jennie shepard, a brunette lady who was born on earth and later became a war hero who´s also an accomplished engineer. After my failed attempt at being faithful to liara using a male shepard (all thanks to jack) I´ll now try it with a female.

I only ever used Lash for combos occasionally; it was mostly just for getting shielded guys out from cover or off their feet, and always against kai Leng for the lulz. It's like using Lift against Saren-bot. I never laughed so hard playing ME1. But like I say I never used it on my insanity run, so I'm not really much help there.

I found it easier to stay loyal to Liara with a femshep, mostly because I feel like Jennifer Hale and Ali Hillis did a fantastic job creating chemistry between the two. However, like Jack with a maleshep, Traynor is waiting for you in ME3. Hard to resist.

This not a place to debate who created the Genophage. Yes he did create it he told you that he was apart of the team that started it...
Dude/dudette:
Mordin did not create the Genophage. He updated it because the Krogan were evolving to overcome it. The Genophage is over 1400 years old. Salarians live for 40 years.
So unless Mordin is immortal, it's impossible.

Why did he not say so? He went on and on about creating the Thing. Ugh
What's your native language? It might be so that they completely screwed up in translation if you're playing a dubbed version ![]()

Amy has been single so far; avoided the liara ninjamance. The locker scene wasn't as good though
Completely agree with this.
That scene just feels empty without a love interest there.

Agreed, it's specially nice with Kaiden as your love interest.

Finally got around to starting a pure renegade, "make the opposite of my normal choice" trilogy run last night.
Custom femshep, Colonist, Ruthless, Engineer. Visited Eden Prime, killed some geth, was a......ahem, "not very nice" lady to everyone she talked to. She will be running around the Citadel telling people off and generally making an *** of herself later tonight.
