Tonight, Amy went to Prison:
Top one is what I call being flanked, haha. Next one is Jack being all, "hey let's be pirates. Wanna?" Great screens.

Given that on a normal play through my ocd-ness means I usually end up with 700k + of the stuff, and 100k of eezo I'm more than happy to skip the hours of scanning filler.

I wish I could skip the planet scanning in ME3.
At least in ME2 it had the purpose of finding resources. In ME3 it is a pointless exercise because you are shown exactly where the thing you are scanning for is.
If they know where it is then why make me scan for the damn thing. Just give it to me like in ME1.

If you did that then you have serious problems; the game is (on the whole) fairly excellent.

No interest anymore. Can't bring myself to play. Last time I tried, I got bored after 20 mins

Tianshi flew to Styx Theta and came across Listening Post: Alpha. Lots of Rachni all over the place! Glad the Queen is dead.
Then he somehow knew he hit level 50, so after some shopping the squad was fully equipped in Spectre X gear.
Also did a round of talking with the crew. Ashley implied being 'hellcat off the battlefied too'.. oh my.

Fair enough, I think you are missing out.

If you're spending hours scanning, you're doing it wrong. Just look for a) green tinted planets b ) garden planets c) planets with a stripe around the equator. At most only one planet per system is worth scanning.

I don't scan planets when I play ME3

Just scan all the "Rich" planets that you can find in the systems pre-Horizon and ignore the rest, they hold all the amount of minerals that you need to research everything in the main game and DLC. It usually takes me around 1.5-2 hours to drain them all dry, this is with the patch to make scanning faster though, so if you don't have an internet connection good luck lol.

Amy didn't shoot him? I'm soooo disappointed!
Also, how did you manage to dance with Liara? I just brought Liara and Ash to Flux but Liara wouldn't dance. (Ashley had no problems dancing.) I told Liara I just wanted to be friends. What did you tell her?

I guess I could have left him in the tank, but it is renegade to relase him, so... (and plus the conversation with Miranda is just brillaint).
Hmm. it was after the first or second round of conversations I think, when you talk about her wanting to study you. I replied with a neutral response (I think - I avoided generally paragon responses and tended to be neutral/renegade). You have to make sure you are far enough on the dancefloor for it to work.

After you release him, pick a right side option on why he should join your team, don't pick one of the persuade options. You will then get an opportunity to shoot Grunt. If you have never done that before I would recommend trying it once. I think it fits the situation better than simply talking him into joining. Grunt seems like he would respect action more than words.

Aha, I never knew that! I usually take the red dialogue option.. Hmm, wonder if I have a save just before.

Something else you should know about that mission: with that first Merc you meet, if you don't take either of the persuade options then he will try to radio in about Shepard & Co. At that point you will get a renegade interrupt that will let you shoot him.
You should really try an "unpersuasive Shepard" run through once just to see what options you have been missing out on. For instance, when first meeting Mordin I never take either the renegade or paragon interrupt anymore because Mordin has a really funny line of dialogue if you let him finish and then respond with the "do you ever take a breath?" (left side) option.
