You didn't tell her to go jump off a cliff did you?
... sorry tali fans, I didn't mean it, honest!
She'll swim. That mask isn't even off of her face...

Hahaha! Zing. Remind me tomorrow to save a like for this post.

Oh, I can like again! ![]()
I saw Wrex
It was a pain to add him onto the video. Took me about 3 hours to edit it correctly.
Yikes, just for that one scene?
Yikes, just for that one scene?
I had to convert the actual video into MP3 to overlay the actual audio of the movie. Then I had to split Garrus's scene and cut it out and then pit in Wrex's scene. But the hard part was trying to remove the traces of Garrus's flashback. There was always this millisecond glimpse of Garrus that was hard to edit out.
Wow, lots of work and patience, but...totally worth it.
Mmhmm, which is why you don't hear anything odd in the audio.
It looked seamless to me ![]()
Just started my "forever friends" play, in which I´ll try to stick with garrus and tali most of the time, while remaining a bachelor (ok, I can flirt with kelly) I´ll also encourage garrus to be more paragon, and try to recruit both him and tali in me2 and 3 as soon as possible.
I think I´ll try a different thing this time, having two simultaneous plays. In another, I´ll use macho-shepard, one who likes woman, is a gentle to them, but does not believe in placing them in danger, aside from the cases in which is absolutely necessary (like loyalty missions). He will save Ash, always use male squad-members in me2 and 3, and even during the suicide mission will always place men doing the job. Well, aside from the long walk. During this moment he´ll use either Samara or Jack. He´ll be faithful to Ash during the entire trilogy.
Finished all the Dossier missions and am about to go to Tuchanka for the first 2 loyalty missions, namely Mordin's and Grunts. I prefer to go there first so that I can buy everything there on my first visit and never have to come back, it works out well. It's also helps that Grunt and Mordin have amazing synergy together for their two respective loyalty missions, their powers make the missions trivial.
These upcoming missions will be the first time in this play through that I don't take an all Human squad, but it needs to be done, I'm going to miss my Zaeed + Miranda death squad combo though ;_;
Tianshi's adventures continue:

Got a little pissed with Zaeed:

We ended up going for Vido regardless though

Now I'm debating whether I should go pick up the Salarian scientist, the Krogan Warlord or the Convict. Archangel is not really high up my list. What kindof person calls himself Archangel? ![]()
Thanks, lately I've enjoyed making a narrative out of my playthroughs. More fun than just listing the day's events.
I'll try to write up something from my Shep later. I have to get him back to the ship first, or else his squadmates will wonder why he paused to document his thoughts during a mission.
Maybe I'll make it in the form of a letter to one of his friends. He wouldn't trust leaving a journal around.
That's because you are Tali's friend, and apparently she and her father is involved in questionable activities in ME3. Obviously you will feel conflicted about people critisising your friend. Even if what they might have been up to was wrong. I know I was very conflicted, even if Koris was right I didn't like the way he acted at the podium. Which is natural and human, your protect your friends and family.
You don't know Koris or Gerrel but you know Tali. And Gerrel was allied to Tali's father in running clandestine missions. Raels last dying words for Tali were to get the research and material to Garrel and Xen, his allies in this Admiralty shadow operation.
I agree. Many of my Shepards side with their friends, right or wrong.
Gerrel and Koris still seem to have the same opinions from ME2 going to ME3, at least from what I remember, it's just that the situation is different now. Gerrel always supported fighting the geth, and Koris wanted peace. When we met them in ME2, it was during a mission where Shepard was being sent to fight through waves of geth to find Tali's father (an old friend of Gerrel's), and in ME3 Shepard would rather the quarians and the geth not be fighting each other when they should all be fighting the Reapers.
I liked Gerrel in ME2, thought his stories about his missions with Rael were really cool and I enjoyed listening to them, but when he fired his weapons on that ship and left my Shepard to die, I gladly took the Renegade interrupt. I was neutral towards Koris in ME2, and liked him more after the mission to rescue him in ME3 because he seemed to be one of the few on my side.
You didn't tell her to go jump off a cliff did you?
... sorry tali fans, I didn't mean it, honest!
I won't tell Yosef Shepard you said that.
He's a Talimancer, you know.
That's a great quote. It makes me wish Zaeed was in my game even more now. He would get along so well with my current Shep, who says he survived Akuze because he refused to die.

Afterwards he says: 'rage is one hell of an aneasthetic', which is an awesome quote as well.
Today in MP (Silver) it has been...very interesting:
1) I managed to get on top of the scoreboard (even almost doubled the points of the one in 2nd position) of a match, with the rest of my team being 3 Geth Juggernauts. And that with a -humble- Human Novaguard. Kinda upped my morale a little ![]()
2) -Miraculously- I've unlocked the Volus Adept class, one character I wanted to try for a long time. Sadly, I stupidly promoted the Adept class because I needed to reset one character (and I later realized that I didn't really needed to do it...grrr), and had to level it up again. It was hell at first (because of the level and because I'm not really adept at...Adepts
), but as I levelled up I began to improve my performance to a decent level. Heck, I even managed to save the day once (lone survivor in the middle of a 10th Round, against hordes of Engineers, Centurions, Guardians (Stasis Bubble be blessed...) and an Atlas ("Expose" evolution of Biotic Orbs be blessed...). First time saving the day, and with a class I wasn't used to. I almost forgot to breath ![]()
I should maybe play MP.
Can you believe I've only ever done 1 MP game? ![]()

You're missing quite the experience
Besides, it fits into the SP story flawlessly.
No ME2 for quite a while I think; being forced to be social by the other half ![]()

Oh come on, Amy, it's not that bad - you'll get to Illium soon.

Oh don't you bloody well start, we are ages away from getting to you.

Even though I've made some headway into ME2 with John, I was only just on my way to Virmire when I made my last post. So, I'll go ahead and give a summary of the last part of my ME1 play-through.
Before heading to Virmire, John got a message from Admiral Kahoku. Apparently, Cerberus was the organization that left the distress beacon by the Thresher Maw nest, which got his men killed. So, he headed to the Voyager Cluster and gleefully destroyed all of the Cerberus labs(Wrex agreed with this sentiment) after finding out they were behind Akuze and watching Toombs off himself. Finding Kahoku's dead body in one of the "labs" brought John's blood to a boil. He went to Cerberus' main base of operations on Nepheron, and utterly destroyed it. After he returned to the Normandy, John was contacted by an agent of the Shadow Broker. Even though John found this agent pretty shady, he decided to sell him the information that detailed Cerberus' operations. Besides, no point in burning bridges. He might need to acquire some intel from the Shadow Broker later on.
On Virmire, things came to a head after Wrex found out that Saren was able to "cure" the Genophage at his lab. John almost let his anger get the better of him, but he was able to calm Wrex down and reason with him. Despite his best efforts to avoid getting too close to his crew, John started to feel a kinship with them. In the end, John could not pull the trigger in the ensuing argument with Wrex.
Afterwards, John discussed the mission with Kirrahe, and Kaidan was "volunteered" to accompany the Salarians. Wrex and Liara went with John to infiltrate the base while the Salarians feinted and drew off most of the defending forces. However, John still did his best to relieve some of the pressure. When "Shadow Team" finally infiltrated the base, John found some Salarian Prisoners. The soldier begged John to release him, but he refused, and John witnessed Darwinism in action. He later found another group of Salarians, and released the one Egghead who was still in his right mind(being the "control" in an experiment sometimes has its perks). John discussed the fate of the other non-Eggheads with Wrex and Liara, and decided to put them out of their misery. Seeing them in such a state and having to kill them put John in a p***ed off mood, and Rana became the unfortunate outlet for his anger(Oh, so you want me to forget about the fact that you are the head researcher in these "experiments" and let you go? F*** that. You should have made us relinquish our weapons before unlocking Saren's lab).
John found another beacon in Saren's lab, and that wasn't all he found. Apparently, Sovereign is the true mastermind behind Saren's actions, and John vowed to end the Reaper's "Cycle of Extinction". Shadow Team then made their way to the bomb site and gave the all clear so the Normandy could drop the bomb off. While Ashley and some other Marines were arming the Bomb, the STG team and Kaidan were pinned down by enemy Geth. John decided to relieve them, but a Geth drop-ship started to barrel down on the Bomb Site. John had to make a choice, and reluctantly left Ashley at the Bomb Site. He hoped that he could save her after helping Kaidan, but he also knew that was a fool's hope. After saving the Salarians, Saren decided to crash the party. John tried to talk some sense into him, but Saren wouldn't have it. So, John decided to kill the bastard. Yet Saren ran off once the Bomb became armed, and John had to leave Ashley on Virmire so he and the rest of the crew could survive and carry on with the mission.
(Almost done, I promise
)
I'll keep this bit short: The council stonewalled him and locked the Normandy down, John respectfully told Sarracino to p*** off, helped Schells, facepalmed when Conrad told him his plan and shoved a gun in Conrad's face for his own good, and got Anderson to release the lockdown. Brought Liara and Kaidan with him to Illos, talked with Vigil, Killed some geth, talked Saren into killing himself(thought about fighting him, but my impatience got the better of me), and assumed control of the Citadel's systems. Joker radioed ahead and said he brought the whole fifth fleet with him, and the DA requested assistance. Liara apparently became more cynical after witnessing her mother's death, watching John exterminate the Racni Queen, and seeing John kill Rana and the Salarian Scientists in Cold Blood(Well, not really. I brought Kaidan along this time, knowing that doing so would made Liara do a flip flop. Still, I like this option because I can head-canon that John's actions helped her see life in a more cynical manner. Besides, this makes her new Character Arc in ME2 less jarring). She advocated sacrificing the council so the Fifth Fleet could concentrate on Sovereign. Kaidan advocated saving the Council because he believed we needed their support when the Reapers finally invaded the Galaxy. John was sorely tempted to let the Council die after they continued to stone wall him, but decided that Kaidan was right. Besides, he was concerned the Geth ships would flank the Fifth Fleet after they destroyed the DA. Liara said "The noble choice. Lets hope it doesn't backfire"(or something along those lines). John hoped so too.
After killing Saren's possessed body and barely cheating death when Sovereign's remains crashed into the Council Chambers, the Council gave their thanks and asked John who he would like to see get the Nomination to become Councilor. John advocated Udina because Anderson was a soldier, and Udina could more than likely get s*** done.
Recap
Racni Queen Exterminated
Colonists saved(but Jeong ate a bullet), and Shiala spared.
Everyone Recruited
Ashely was sacrificed
Council was saved
John had a hair more renegade points compared to paragon and got the "Red" ending
And as an added caveat, I didn't realize that Udina could also be the one who gave the final speech before the ending. I always thought that part was reserved for Anderson. Pretty nifty.
