I started the adventure all over again. Character creation is one of the hardest parts for me. I spent an hour messing just with that... I'm picky. Finished ME1 and starting ME2. Almost forgot how bi*chy Miranda is in the begining.

Same here. I played it one time on a public console because I couldn't post in this forum unless my game was connected with my BSN account. I didn't care for it, but personally I've never seen the draw to online multiplayer. Always preferred offline co-op.

Met Samara at an Ardat Yakshi monastery that the Asari hint-dropped that I investigate.



Later, I encountered Samara on the Citadel, and she threatened me. I guess I'm doing this Renegade thing right.

Today I finally got a certain achievement on the xbox in ME2... The last stand one during Arrival. And I felt pretty good about it. Even though I was playing a sentinel all kitted up for it, so I basically coasted by on my SMG and tech armor.

 

...I've had it on the PC for like 3 years, but I have a strict 'no reloadies' policy on that, so getting it was pretty sweet.

 

I also gave Jacob's yutzy father a gun. ...It's been a comically long time since I've played ME2 or a renegon, so it's pretty fun to do both!

 

Speaking of Samara, she just told Yoshimi that the pair of them were great friends... And then threatened to kill her. So yeah. 

 

I ACTUALLY DON'T THINK I'VE DONE ANYTHING SAMARA WOULD HATE. Except lots of yelling and threats. And some merc shooting... And there was that one time where we put Zaheed's loyalty first....

My renegade ME1 game has kinda stalled on Noveria, after getting stuck in the hotel elevator shortly after arriving. I dunno what it is about Noveria, but I seem to get stuck in the elevators there a lot, whether at Port Hanshan or Peak 15.

No missions today, but Commander Yosef Shepard spoke with Anderson and Udina before taking control of the Normandy. There was a moment when he told Anderson that he would stop Saren where his voice and the look in his eyes was so intense, exactly as I imagine him. Then he gave an epic speech and spoke with his squadmates. I continue to be surprised by my Shep getting along with Ashley this time around. Maybe the conversations I remember happen later on. His talk with Tali lasted the longest. When she was going on and on about how great the Normandy was, I couldn't help but imagine Yosef as a guy trying to impress a girl with his cool car.  Tomorrow will be his first mission as a Spectre. 

 

And as promised, a summary of Yosef's recent actions from his POV. Can you tell he likes Tali?

By the time this letter reaches you, I'm sure the news of my promotion will have spread throughout the Alliance and to Earth. I have become the first human Spectre. Hopefully the first of many. It was a glorious day for our people. 

 

I've taken command of a new ship, the best humanity has to offer, and I've gathered a worthy team. Two humans, one of them the soldier that I saved on Eden Prime. Speaking with her brings back memories of losing my own squad on Akuze. We're both sole survivors. I have a turian who's a former C-Sec officer on board too, if you can believe that. He's not like the others. This guy seems to hate the system just as much as we did. And a krogan warlord! You know how I've always wanted to charge into battle alongside a krogan, shooting biotics and explosive rounds everywhere! 

 

The last member is a young quarian lady on her pilgrimage, named Tali. She's something special - her voice, and the way she handles herself in battle. She believes me about the Reapers, and has some theories of her own. She told me about her people and their way of life. It seems so foreign to me. Sending one of your own out to find something of value that might prove themselves useful so they can join another crew? I can't even imagine the gangs back on Earth working that way, trading members back and forth. But I could talk to her for hours. Maybe I did. I never could get used to telling time in space. 

 

Soon, I'll be going to a human colony called Feros. There was a geth attack recently. I just hope this one turns out better than Eden Prime. Finding another group completely wiped out right now would be too damn hard.

Well today, I'm play second run through, so I can have Alexandra Shepard for my citadel play through. She played through Vimier today and will be off to Ilso when I get home. She now has gotten a little more than a million credits in her account as well.

I'm on my second NG+ with this character, so he had that many credits right from the start. The former gang member who grew up on the streets of Earth has sure done well for himself.

Maybe TIM used it to pay for Shepard's resurrection and rebuilding the Normandy.

Import a rich character, do a second playthrough, and you start out with something like 350,000 credits. That is usually enough to buy all the stuff I want. This includes 1 damage upgrade, 1 tech upgrade (Saronis) 1 heavy weapons upgrade, 1 heavy skin weave, (Kenn's Salvage) a bypass module, Kuwashii Visor, Capacitor Chest Plate (Harrot's), Strength Boost Pads (Marsh) and 1 heavy pistol upgrade and 1 SMG upgrade (Radon Expeditions) and still have money left over.

 

Its the Alliance that really impoverishes Shepard, not Cerberus.
