Yesterday, earth got invaded by the reapers for some odd reason Sarai Shepard was on earth during that whole mess. She saw her friend Kaiden again but she's more worried about Garrus the man she loves during but right know she's off to Mars. Still has no clue, what Hackett expects her too find at the Prothen archive.

Bobbie Shepard's met back up with Kaidan on Earth, went to Mars with him on Hackett's orders, and after Horizon (in ME2) she's pretty pissed with him at how she's being treated.

She's seriously considering pulling Samatha Traynor, the comms officer, just to show the guy what he's been missing. She's also regreting being loyal to him now because that Thane guy was pretty hot (for a lizard.)

It took Tianshi quite some time to decide to open the tank. Things didn't end so well with the previous Krogan squadmate, he ended up dumped in a lake... and this one he had to pull his gun on within minutes after waking him. This might be a bad decision.

Got my head stomped in on the Archangel mission playing as an engineer on insanity. Never had it so bad on my previous insanity runs. Everything was fine up until Garm. Then Miri got in my way and I couldn't see well so I got taken down by a Varren that I couldn't see coming. After restarting Shepard died almost instantly since the game started me out of cover and at the center of a fusillade of incoming fire. Finally, on the third try I was able to get rid of the Vorcha and Varren and concentrate on Garm (who has a pretty lame AI which is easy to exploit). Three reloads right there. Then another three reloads when fighting the Gunship. Just one rocket was enough to knock me out of cover and leave me exposed for 3 or 4 more rockets in rapid succession. What a mess. I think I went in at a lower level than usual (level 9) and that is why things went so poorly.

On the bright side, Miri has never looked so good as she does now with her new alternate armor.

^ I like those quotes from the batarians. It was great for one of my Colonist Shepards who was trying to believe they're not all bad.

I hope the Quarian Admirals don't get too mad about me delaying Tali's trial whilst I fly about the galaxy trying to stop an organic-AI mind from conquering the galaxy, fighting mercs and husks in warehouses full of crates, having epic fail moments in the Hammerhead, visiting the Normandy crash site and saving Feron from the Shadowbroker. :P

Saren didn't seem to mind waiting when my Shepard took a detour for a side mission before following him to Ilos either. They just know whatever happens, it'll always be more interesting with Shepard.

They're waiting for their monologue. Bad guys always monologue. They practice for hours and hours what they are going to say when the hero shows up. No way they are going to miss that!

I wonder if they stand in front of a mirror practicing to themselves?

Another Update for John. (I've gotten pretty far already, and do not feel like writing a terribly long essay. I'll keep some of this short)

John was sent out into the terminus systems to destroy a possible Geth garrison. Turns out, it wasn't the Geth. A ship of unknown origin crippled the Normandy with a surprise attack. As the Normandy was getting torn apart, Kaidan came looking for John. Shepard sent out a distress beacon and ordered everyone to abandon ship. Kaidan refused at first, he didn't want to leave Shepard. Apparently, he got the wrong idea when Shepard sacrificed Ashley instead of him. Sorry Kaidan, John doesn't play for the other team. John sent Kaidan towards the escape pods, and headed up towards the Cockpit of the ship to save Joker and knock some sense into him. In the process, John got spaced and everything went dark.

He woke up later in what looked like a mix between a laboratory and hospital room. Some woman was yelling orders at him and some mechs attacked in not too long afterwards. John felt like he woke up with a bad hangover, and having some random woman yell at him didn't help. At least he was able to vent his frustrations on hapless mechs that tried to kill him. Later on, he caught up with some guy in an overly tight outfit. But he knew what he was doing, and seemed like a decent enough guy. His name was Jacob, and John learned that he was "dead" for two years until he was resurrected through some project called "Lazarus". This explained some of the recordings he came across earlier. Apparently, they had 4 billion credits to spend in order to resurrect him, and the guy who made that recording didn't sound too happy about it. As John and Jacob were talking, they got interrupted by that same guy, and he was in trouble. When they finally caught up with this guy named Wilson, he was complaining about a leg wound(b**** plz, that's just a flesh wound) and John had to heal him. Wilson was one of the scientists that helped resurrect John, and he was in the "network control room" and claimed he was trying to deactivate the mechs. He tried laying the blame on the woman who tried to save John when he first woke up. John was instantly suspicious of Wilson, considering he just happen to be in the network control room, along with the recording he found earlier which detailed Wilson's discontent of the fact that 4 billion credits were spent on John's resurrection. Before John could question him, some more mechs attacked them. Afterwards, Jacob admitted that the group responsible for the Lazarus project was Cerberus. John felt p***ed and flabbergasted at the same time, and wasn't sure how to respond. He decided to say screw it, and just wanted to leave this facility behind. After destroying every mech that got in his way, they headed towards the shuttle. As soon as the door opened, someone named Miranda took one look at Wilson and capped his a**. She told John and Jacob that he was the one that betrayed them, and John wasn't surprised at all. He didn't really want to leave with them, but there was no other way out of the facility.

They took him to another facility, and he met TIM. TIM claimed that human colonies were going missing, and that the Reapers were somehow behind it. Throughout the conversation, John kept his cool, even though he really wanted to tell TIM to f*** off. However, he wanted to properly gauge TIM and his motivations. While he didn't trust this guy, TIM did make a logical argument. John decided to play along for now, and headed towards a colony that recently went dark called Freedom's Progress.

(next few bits I'll keep short)

On Freedom's progress, John ran into Tali. He was happy to see her, and she reciprocated his sentiments. Her squad were less than thrilled however, and almost botched the mission. After saving the rest of Tali squad and destroying the YMIR mech, John met Veetor. Veetor seemed pretty out of it, but John was able to get some information from him. Some relatively unknown alien race called the collectors were behind the abductions, and were somehow able to incapacitate the colonists without bloodshed. Miranda wanted to bring Veetor along so Cerberus Operatives could question him, but John allowed Tali to take him back to the Flotilla. Despite Miranda's reservations, the Quarians still sent Cerberus any relevant information they could get from Veetor.

TIM gave John dossier's of numerous "experts" to recruit for some "suicide mission" through the Omega 4 relay.

Before doing any recruiting, I decided to do as much planet scanning as possible and got all the minerals(except eezo, only got that just above 100,000) above 250,000. Than I did Firewalker and Overlord(John sent David to Grissom Academy). Recruited Zaeed first, talked to Aria, recruited Kasumi and talked to the Council(colossal waste of time, but John was able to regain his Spectre status), caught up with Captain Anderson and gave Ambassador Udina his regards, helped Kasumi regain Keiji's greybox(acquired a nifty gun in the process), and encouraged her to destroy the data within the greybox so she could move on.

John decided to help Zaeed out with his mission next. Along the way, John learned that Zaeed helped found the Blue Suns with Vido Santiago, and that Vido staged a coup and tried to kill Zaeed. Zaeed wanted revenge, and he became reckless once he and John ran into Vido. Zaeed started a massive fire in the refinery and some workers were trapped. John experienced Deja Vu because this situation was not unlike the X-57 Asteroid incident with Balak. Balak held Kate and her assistant hostage, and killed both of them when John refused to let him go. The Batarian Hegemony in general was a threat to the Alliance and every known human colony in the Traverse, and Balak was a high ranking officer within the Hegemony. He was too dangerous to let go, and John sent him to the Alliance for interrogation in the hopes of preventing another attack of equivalent magnitude like the X-57 Asteroid Incident.

Vido on the other hand was just a small bug and annoyance in comparison. Capturing him was out of the question since Zaeed wouldn't have allowed it, and killing him wouldn't have done much good since some other a**hole would just take his place as the leader of the Blue Suns. They aren't a direct threat to humanity or their interests, and mercenaries have their uses. John decided that Vido wasn't worth the death of the refinery workers, and was able to knock some sense into Zaeed at the end of the mission and gain his loyalty.

Afterwards, John tried to recruit Okeer but acquired his project instead. This krogan intrigued John, and he decided to release him from his tank. Unfortunately, John had a few too many drinks from the lounge beforehand(he was having some flashbacks of the attack on Mindoir) and didn't take the necessary precautions before waking the "baby krogan" up. This krogan, who decided to call himself Grunt, pinned John against the wall and tried to kill him. Yet John was able to persuade Grunt to follow him instead.

John returned to Omega to recruit someone named Archangel, and found out that every merc band wanted him dead. John brought Grunt and Zaeed with him to save Archangel. John figured that Zaeed would enjoy killing some Blue Suns since he wasn't able to finish off Vido, and this was a good opportunity to gauge Grunt's abilities. Along the way, John found a damning datapad that detailed an attempted coup on Aria, and decided to give it to her later on. John also sabotaged the Eclipse mechs and told Sergeant Cathka that "he was working too hard." Once they ran into Archangel, it turned out to be Garrus. John was happy to see him, and helped Garrus hold off all three merc bands. Towards the end, Tarak showed up in his gunship and severely wounded Garrus. Tarak signed his death warrant in doing so. Thankfully, John was able to bring Garrus aboard the Normandy after dealing with Tarak so he could get patched up.

John than headed towards Purgatory to recruit some crazy biotic. Upon entering the station, A Blue Sun's merc "welcomed" him and his crew(John brought Zaeed and Garrus with him), and asked them to relinquish their weapons. After dealing with them on Zaeeds mission and almost watching Garrus die from their hands, John told the merc to FOAD. At this point, the Warden attempted to diffuse the situation and introduced himself. Apparently, he founded this prison to keep the galaxy safe. However, the Warden extorted the Planetary Governments that sent him those prisoners, and he showed his true colors later on when he tried to imprison Shepard and his crew. John enjoyed putting a bullet between his eyes later on, and was able to recruit Jack afterwards. He had the distinct impression that she would become quite the headache, but did allow her to have access to the Cerberus files that pertained to her. Miranda was less than thrilled.

Now he's off to recruit Mordin.

Yesterday. Sarai Shepard went to Palven to help find the new Primarch. When she got there she saw the planet in ruins most of it was burning. She was worried for Garrus whom she thought was their on Palven. However, she learns that the new Primarch was shot down by Reaper forces and the new Primarch is a Turian named Victas as soon as she heard that she heard Garrus and watched as he came up and took her hand in to his and smirked a bit. She did too and was relieved to find him save on Paveln moon. She knows she selfish a bit to think about herself as she saw badly wounded soldiers laying around the front Gates of the Turian base.

Got Yoshimi into 3. ...Then restarted because I wasn't thrilled with how her cheekbones animated, so I did Mars twice.

YES I KNOW I COULD HAVE JUST USED THE FACECODE FROM MY PC. Pish tosh.

Anyway, I imagine I'll be rescuing Garrus today.

The thing is that only default Shep's face seems to animate properly. Especially the cheekbones are problematic, as Hadeedak already pointed out.

At least for Maleshep. My Femshep was perfect from the get go.... but I spent like an hour building her face :D I wanted her to look perfect. If I met her in real life my girlfriend and I would probably have a problem :P

And for all the negative comments going about for Miranda's ass being on camera all the time...

you guys ever noticed you just how often Jack's only-held-by-some-piece-of-rope-boobs are in the (near) center of your screen? Like.. this?

Or maybe one stops noticing cause they're quite visible all the time :P
