Booking it through insanity Sentinel run in ME3. Will be my first insanity sentinel (or anything not a vanguard). Mostly playing her like a biotic who can take a beating. I have to say, compared to my usual suicide-o-awesome vanguard style, having to slow down a bit and use those combos and powers is interesting.

It's also my renegon, still Yoshimi. This is the most back to back playthrough I've done. Usually I get sidetracked by another game or drop the game for a bit before I come back, but I've been plugging a bit every day. Being out on disability with a shoulder injury (own dumb fault) hasn't hurt in that regard. I'm healing nicely. And playing a lot of Mass Effect.

SO TODAY. I finished getting Garrus off Palaven, scanned a bunch of planets, zipped through some sidequests, hurried to Tuchanka, realized what an UBERPUTZ Wreave is, didn't cure the genophage, mourned Eve (she's an awesome character), and sent Mordin off to the crucible. Which I hadn't done yet, though I'd seen the husbot pull it off. Then we booked it to the Citadel and hauled Kaidan onto the ship. I got the War Asset Acquired: Kaidan's Butt shot. It pleases me.

I have been informed I'm doing Omega now so the husbot has something to watch while he listens to his baseball game.

I'm not quite sure if I'll go full renegade.

Yoshimi's a mama's girl (spacer!), Alliance to the bitter end, and likes to make stupid jokes whenever possible. She also doubletaps anything that might be a threat and is a pragmatist, so I've left a lot of scary things dead. But she doesn't push too hard on crew members who can't take it, and she's a bit of a softy when she can afford to be.

It's just little bump on the head. Let him sleep it off. "I suppose you're right, Commander."

I tried. I even had Sovereign targeted. See? Why didn't we win right then? Bad writing!!!

Just an observation. If Sovereign left that crater, wouldn't Harbinger of left one as well in the area he was at when he was firing at everyone during the beam run?

I'm just curious.

I did a few side missions today, and will write up the summary of them soon. Also got frustrated with driving the Mako over mountains, trying to walk on mountains without getting stuck and just walking from one point to the next in a decent amount of time. Whoever designed this terrain must not have spent a lot of time trying to cross it on foot. So I cheated by returning to the Normandy and going back down in the Mako. I couldn't get back to it otherwise.

Gonna be fun to find out.  :)

I also try to keep in mind not to follow a plan too close, or too far ahead. I don't want to ruin any surprises before I even get there.

Yeah, I found that out during my last playthrough with Yosef. I thought he would solve some missions a certain way ahead of time, but when I actually got to them and heard all of the dialogue fresh, it was clear that a different option was more true to character and that surprised me. It works best for me to just have a strong character in mind, and some things will be obvious from the start (like Yosef's attitudes towards Cerberus and the geth) while other decisions are made in the moment.

Oh cool, Saren holding a gun. Do you mind if I make an avatar out of this one?

That crater was from Sovereign's thrusters. I'm surprised that Harbinger didn't level the entire area when he took off. Also I figure Harby was firing his anti-missile lasers. If he'd fired his main gun he it would have had the effect of detonating a nuke. But then lore in the MEU is a zany free for all.

I don't want to get too far off topic, but Harbinger takes off at a forward angle whereas Sovereign and the reapers in the control ending, take off vertically. I guess that's another zany thing in the lore.

Don't forget the signal/sound that Sovereign emitted that was supposed to burrow into your brain. Didn't really hear that in the Beam run either.

My bet's always been that the terrain was designed by no one at all -- just tweaking a few variables in a random terrain generator.

Thanks.  ^_^

Well, that would explain a lot. My poor Shep got stuck a few times trying to walk down those mountains, and one was really hard to get him out of. The squadmates were making comments about hostiles too.

Speaking of random terrain, I caught a glimpse of Earth from Luna today... and after looking between that and a globe, I still can't figure out what part of the Earth that was supposed to be. Anyone know?

Wow, really? I couldn't match those land shapes up with anything no matter how hard I looked.

Maybe that's because Harby's not trying to indoctrinate anyone, just obliterate them.

Nice pics, makes me wish I'd given the high-res textures another shot

I said 'stupid Kaidan' at that moment myself.

Look forward to seeing them.

All the years I've been playing these three games, I haven't been able to say it's my final run. I've tried; put ME1 aside for a long time when ME2 came out, and yet did go back and play it once or twice to get an import I liked. Then did the same with ME2 when 3 came out... and now here I am making trilogy runs. The cycle must continue...

As you can see... by the power of space magic, I can now use assualt rifles again. Odd, I never used any other weapons on my hunt for Saren...

Also, I'm beginning to doubt the sanity of some of my crew members:

That is North America, only it is backwards. You can make out the Gulf of Mexico, and the Florida, Yucatan and Baja peninsulas pretty clearly. Canada is actually missing. (Global warming sinks Canada?)

And then that broke their floor! So yeah, your statement is invalid....how we have dismissed that claim....LOL! C-Sec is not happy that we are a spectre.
