Yeah, I had to read a lot about it at one point in order to do something........Kai Leng killed her!

Hmmm maybe I should read the novels again.

Gotta say... Wasea looks awesome:

But it's nothing compared to this:

And apparantly, Mordin thought I was into him. Ha.

Now it's time to fully gear up my squad for our ultimate mission: the Collector base. Garrus, Thane, Jack and Tali still have things that need to be taken care off, and Samara will undoubtedly come up with something as well.

Garrus and Thane are first though. Hoping the Drell is good in battle, I'm loving this guy's style... except for all the religious talk, but I'll deal with :P

Reached until Thessia with my NG+ Insanity build. With "X" equipment, now this is even easier than my previous one...and in my previous one I only used 3 Medi-Gel units in all the playthought :D

Although now I'm using far more. I'm way more reckless, and I use it even if I only have a scratch. I reached lvl 60 in my first one (going so far as gaining 11 levels in the Omega DLC by not using Medi-Gel), so medigel kits are basically useless now.

Everybody just seems to believe Tianshi when he says he's a Spectre. Kellam falls for it, and Bailey doesn't even question him about shooting the Turian. Or he's just glad an anti-human is dead.

You can't get the employee discount at the gift shop if you're not a Spectre, you have to give an endorsement/extort a discount instead. You don't get the "I'm a Specter" option with the customs woman when trying to clear the two Asari for leaving the Citadel if you're not a Spectre.

Update for my current playthrough.

I managed to finish up the N7 missions(except for the 2 easiest ones which I always leave for after the SM so that I can get all of Legions conversations) and the DLC, except for LotSB which I decided to leave for after the SM. Some of the N7 missions are actually quite good, mainly the ones where you fight the mercs and kick them off their bases, the Eclipse ones being my favourite. I like fighting Eclipse, LotSB has Eclipse in abundance so I'm really looking forward to facing them again.

After dealing with Firewalker, Overlord and Normandy Crash Site DLC's I went to find the IFF, the mission is far shorter than I remember it being, but damn fun. Them Scions are no match for my Soldiers Widow though. After retrieving the IFF I had time to do Tali's and Legions loyalty missions whilst EDI was installing the IFF. Taking Legion to the Migrant Fleet was humorous as always though getting Tali exiled wasn't ;_;.

After re-writing the heretics at the Heretic Station EDI informed me that the IFF was nearly installed but was still being tested so Shepard and the rest of the squad had to get on the shuttle to go on some mysterious mission somewhere, I have no idea where. The crew got abducted(shocker) and EDI was unshackled, now it's time to go get them back. Hold on Gabby, Ken and Chakwas, the Terrific Thirteen are coming to save you!

All the years I've been playing these three games, I haven't been able to say it's my final run. I've tried; put ME1 aside for a long time when ME2 came out, and yet did go back and play it once or twice to get an import I liked. Then did the same with ME2 when 3 came out... and now here I am making trilogy runs. The cycle must continue...

I have too many characters that would make good Shepards to say one will be my last playthrough. I just take long breaks from playing the games every now and then. Before I started Yosef's second NG+, it had been almost two years, but I knew I'd come back to it eventually.

That is North America, only it is backwards. You can make out the Gulf of Mexico, and the Florida, Yucatan and Baja peninsulas pretty clearly. Canada is actually missing. (Global warming sinks Canada?)

I thought I saw Florida, but I was totally confused when nothing else matched up. I did see something that looked like a backwards Gulf of Mexico too. My poor Shep was trying to find Russia.

Yosef: There it is! No, wait, that's something else. Over there! No again. That's not how I remember it. I don't even know what I'm looking at here. They must have changed the Earth! Right when I was trying to show Tali my hometown, the planet up and moved it!

Hmmm maybe I should read the novels again.

Aria's daughter is in Retribution.

I got grabbed and smooched by Aria. Hope Kaidan don't mind it... Since the last thing I did before Omega was inform Kaidan Yoshimi is still his girl.

(I honestly wasn't expecting it, since I went pretty 50/50, supporting protecting people, but also leaving anyone who gets in our way as a red smear on the floor.)

I think Kaidan and Liara have settled firmly as my go-to squad on Yoshimi. While Liara still dies more than she should, she's not NEAR as suicidal as she is on my vanguard runs, which led to her being benched in ME3 up until now. Watching her behavior, I think Liara has a tendency to follow Shepard and try to get close for biotic detonations, without being as tanky as Kaidan and Javik.

So she's fairly useful on my conservative sentinel who hides behind cover and pops up to unleash hell when it's safe. It's just that Liara seems to imitate Shepard, and when she tries to pretend she's a charge-guard, she gets obliterated.

The problem with Vanguard is that your squad tries to keep within a certain distance of you. So if you place them in cover somewhere and then Charge across the battlefield, they will magically teleport to right next to you.

I would still recommend explicitly ordering your squad into cover rather than leaving it up to their AI. Liara can still act like a Krogan Warlord even if you are not in the thick of things. I have very few problems with Liara dieing because I always take a second to order my squad into cover positions. Liara really works well with a Sentinel Shepard. Her rapid cool down Singularity with Shepard's Throw provides one explosion after the other. Kaidan is good with area Reave, but the cool down is 3 times longer than Liara's Singularity. I also like EDI with my Sentinel. I give her area Incinerate and then hit them with chain Overload. Two explosions for the price of two casts. Plus fire explosions are just cool. :)

Everyone else seemed to behave themselves with my vanguard... Except Liara, who is apparently chronically unable to resist missiles to the face while Shepard bounces around the battlefield like a demented pinball.

I'm not exactly the queen of squad micromanagement, though I've been doing a bit more of it on the sentinel, so I can get my cryo explosions and biotic blasts.

Sentinel's pretty fun and I die less than I do on the vanguard (SO MUCH LESS), but I do miss the bonkers stunts of vanguard.

...And Omega was a bit more of a PITA when I couldn't zip blithely from thing charging at my face to thing charging at my face. This is my third time doing Omega, since I never bought it for my PC. But it's on the boytoy's xbox, soooooo....

Here's a summary of a few recent side missions from Commander Yosef Shepard's POV. I did embellish a little at the end (the in-game vision of Earth does not rotate), but the part about firing a shot up into empty space was true.

I've tracked down the remaining ExoGeni facilities and wiped them out. The colonists on these uncharted worlds didn't fare as well as the group I found on Feros. They had already been turned into zombies, probably even before I killed the Thorian by the sound of it. The scientists tried to turn them into obedient slaves. They tried to bribe me to keep quiet about what they done. That was their last mistake. This isn't about money. It's about justice. Blood for blood. I shot the three of them down with one high explosive round. That's one for the hall of fame.

There was evidence that ExoGeni also sent samples from the Thorian to a group called Cerberus. I'll keep an eye out for anything that might lead me to them.

I had to locate an old espionage probe from the First Contact War, but there isn't much to say about that. It was a trap set by some guy who wanted me blown up, same old story. Said he was one of the masterminds behind the Skyllian Blitz, and seemed to think I should have heard of him. Anyway, I didn't need to remember his name to take him down. I did it with a grenade, for irony's sake.

Hackett sent me on a mission to disable a rogue VI on the moon. After that was settled, I decided to stay a while and show Tali my hometown. We camped out until it was nighttime in Mother Russia, and it was worth the wait. I'm going to miss Tali when the time comes that she must return to her people, but I can understand that. I've been feeling a little homesick myself lately. I fired off a few shots into space for the old gang. Could you see me from down there on planet Earth?

- Yosef

I don't believe Thorian Creepers are the same as Husks. I am pretty sure they are more like the Asari Clone you fight, just not as well made. I don't think any colonists, either on Feros or elsewhere, were turned into creepers the way the colonists of Eden Prime were turned into Husks.

If you mean the part of my post where Yosef calls them "zombies", that's just how he sees them.  I figure they pop out of those round cocoon-like things on the walls, but the scientists did say they made them to be obedient before the Thorian's death set them off.

One of the planets did have the dragon's teeth as well, probably the mission that said samples were sent to Cerberus.

Does he have any face tattoos? I think I can see it maybe, but all I know is that it is bad in Turian society to not have facial markings. Those Turians are called "Pale Faces" which is insulting just like Asari's "Pure Blood".

Really? The dialogue sure made it sound like they used to be colonists, with the Renegade lines implying that Shep was getting revenge for what was done to them.

Edit: I'm still not sure what those creepers are supposed to be after reading the wiki's mission summary, but the one where samples were sent to Cerberus definitely had husks, dragon's teeth, and civilian buildings so let's just say he was talking about them.

I can't believe Yosef forgot to tell his friends about the space cow

Yup he is bare-faced

http://masseffect.wi...ion#Rolan_Quarn

Given his line of work, it makes sense. Not only does it fit him as a shadowy character (despite his Robin Hood-like intentions), but if he needs to impersonate someone, he can probably just slap on temporary face paint and remove when needed.

He's impersonated as a CEO for 2 years, and "dozens of other people including a stunt driver, sous-chef, martial arts instructor, ambassador, varren tamer, news anchor, and stand-up comedian." Probably helps to be bare-faced for all of that
