Completed the Suicide Mission last night, lost Jack due to Miranda failing to hold the biotic barrier at the last second and Samara for dying after she was hit whilst leading the 2nd Fire Team. RIP.  Saved the collector base and then I went to complete the last 2 N7 missions I had left over so that I could get the rest of Legion's conversations.

Now it's time to help Liara with the ShadowBroker.

Just out of curiosity: why'd you pick Samara as squadleader and Miranda for the barrier? Are you metagaming or?

The game makes it abundantly clear that those are the wrong decisions :P

I needed to kill Jack and Samara, the missions in ME3 that they appear in are better without them. This is my canon playthrough where I'm going for the best story instead of the most optimal story, which is why I purposefully sabotaged any chance of being able to create peace on Rannoch in ME3 by having Tali exiled and re-writing the Heretics.

I'm trying to copy as much of the default play through as I can basically, with additions and some changes in personal here and there to flesh it out more and make it fell less empty, but no less tragic. In fact, it's even more tragic, since I'll have to kill both Wrex and Mordin now, when before it was just Mordin.

It could have been better though. Before ME3 came out I was hoping that this cycle would lose in the end, with the Crucible turning out to be a Reaper back up plan in case the Citadel trap didn't work. They could get the races to spend all their remaining resources to build this weapon and to have them funnel all their remaining fleets to one location so that they could wipe out all resistance in one swoop.

It was the only realistic ending, but Bioware let me down and went the predictable route with the usual superweapon which was never known of before but was suddenly discovered just in time to help the protagonist and his friends win. Complete and utter creative bankruptcy.

Why do you save LotSB until after the SM?

I usually do it before the SM, but this playthrough I just wanted to get the man plot over and done with asap, it was really dragging and I was growing tired of it. It sucks because my Soldier won't be able to make use of all the weapon upgrades for very long, but oh well.

Visited these forums after a long while, started reading all the discussions and that induced me to reinstall ME1 and start up a fresh career. That's what I did today!

Yeah, I mean, the so-called toxicity for me is now background noise. They don't affect me either way. But reading them reminded me of the great fun I had while I played these games, the specter induction pic on the top for example.

Its like a silly little kid with whom you shared a great adventure once. You meet the kid again, his silliness doesn't bother you much but it does remind you of the great time you had together. Its sort of like that.

Well Shepard went to the spoke with Udina, then went to the Normandy. She gave her speech, and the crew listened.

TheBeginning_zps8bdefe95.png

Garrus, Ashley and Wrex. I miss that Ashley. She looked great. I'd snapped Shepard giving the speech, but then this came up and I chose the classic.

Then we went to Therum. I've never done Therum first so I thought I'd do it first this time. I'm not a fan of the damsel in distress so that wasn't my favorite shot. I must admit, I hate driving the mako on the PC. It really sucked. The 360 version was a dream. Vehicle driving on the PC must be horrible unless the game supports some kind of controller. I'm glad I was playing on casual because I'm sure the mako would have been blown up several times because I kept getting hung up on terrain. I hope ME2 supports the controller. Anyway we made it through and rescued the Dr. Tali snapped this one on the run, so pardon the blur.

We barely made it out alive. Joker can be such a jack ass.

That's why Tali kept getting car sick in my game.

What is the opposite of "induction"?

Added: I got it: expulsion. So, do you suppose Tali has an emergency expulsion port?

I don't think she did. Not the first time anyway.

It been about 10 days since I played ME3 because I decided to buy an Xbox and play knights of the old republic 1 a couple of times.

So now I will continue Elizabeth Nancy Shepard's murderous playthrough. Just to update everyone, in this playthrough, her goal is to kill every female squadmate. All she has left to kill is T'soni. Let's continue from where I left off.

As Lisa gets to the Citadel, she learns that Cerberus is attacking and hears from Thane that Kaidan went to the coucil and he's headed to C-sec. She grabs James and Garrus(J and G) to help stop the keystone cops from taking over. She's enjoying herself by killing these morons. They locate the Salarian councillor, when what looks like a Jackie Chan impersonator with armor threathens the councillor. The impersonator and Thane fight and unfortunately, Thanes torso decided to get in the way of the assassin's sword.

Lisa gives chase and ends up fighting more of the keystone cops. She looks at James, and pulls out 2 bananas. Gave him one to eat and she ate the other. They both threw the banana peels at the punks with the swords and watch them slip and fall while sticking the sword in themselves. How about that? The peel is mightier than the sword. James liked it. Lets do that agin said Lisa. Now she has to contend with these things wearing some leather bodysuit with a sniper rifle. A sniper rifle is totally useless when I'm beating the crap out of the idiot trying to use it. Boy ole boy are these keystone cops really stupid.

Lisa comes face-to-face with Kaidan pointing their weapon at each other. She doesn't want to shoot Kaidan.  Lisa ends up shooting Udina.

Once things cooled down, Lisa went to the hospital and said her good bye to Thane, then went and saw Steve on the docks. Lisa was glad to have Kaidan back on the Normandy.

She ends up with Traynor who is using her. Lisa thought ok, I will use you. So, she decides to have Traynor come up to her cabin after every mission for stress relief. Now who's using who?

With Kaidan and James at her side, they head to Tuchanka to deactivate the bomb. Wow. That's a big bomb. How did Cerberus know about the bomb? After killing a bunch more of the dumb dumbs, they head back to the Normandy.

Lisa now has Joker heading to Eden Prime to find out what this artifact is that was uncovered.

The problem with themikefest is that he's figured out Mass Effect is a video game.

Well, your Shepard could always believe that the Crucible is a Reaper trap, and Refuse.

Do you often hope for things that you know won't possibly happen?
