- I dislike using helms and seeing them in cut scenes. Wish they only appear when combat starts. I currently don't use helms. Mods for this don't work well.
- I dislike Sten not getting a specialization (he's a warrior so he's valid for this topic)

Is there anything that you feel that is underpowered or overpowered on the Warrior? 2-handed spec is definitely underpowered. I am currently using a mod which greatly reduces the time between attacks as well as increases the strength bonus a character receives to damage, and it has worked spectacularly to rectify this problem, so you guys can do with that what you will. Dual-wielding is by far the "overpowered" portion of being a warrior. I believe the sustaineds and the activated skills are too powerful. Momentum is ridiculously strong.
What are your favorite Warrior specializations? What are your least favorite? I love the abilities of the champion and, of course, the berserker is pretty badass. I'd love to see Templars get some mage-hating love, and I have difficulty finding great use in the Reaver class. Doesn't seem very... reaving? Reavlike? Whatever. =P
What are your favorite Warrior talent trees? What are your least favorite? Sword/shield is probably my favorite, but only because I find 2-handed underpowered. Dual-wielding is very boring to play, as it's mostly just hacking and slashing until the enemy's dead. Unlike others here, I enjoy archery, but that's because I use a mod that semi-fixes it to use proper stats.
I really enjoyed dual-wielding. It was the only tree where I actually wanted to level up to get some of the more powerful abilities (dual wield two main hand weapons, momentum, punisher). They required very careful management to avoid running out of stamina, though.
I disliked the fact that there were abilities in weapon trees that seemed non-weapon specific, that could have been a good third generic warrior tree (critical shot, assault, indomnible, momentum). This would open up more space in the weapon trees for more activated and interesting talents.
I never used a 2-hander in my party because they were too slow, at most gain 25% more strength bonus, and simply had very few interesting talents (triple strike would have been great). Adding momentum as a generic skill might have made them viable for me.
I still maintain that Mages are overpowered because they can instantly regain mana through potions.
Warriors (or to a lesser extent rogues) don't have the same ability with stamina; deep mushrooms supposedly give you stamina but in incredibly small proportions. If a fight lasts longer than a minute or so, it becomes rather uninteresting since I'm out of special combat options - I end up playing my other classes instead. I need a mage to support their combat tactics most times (telekinetic weapons, rejuvenation).
The fact that my warriors didn't seem to be able to attack enemies running right by them to
attack my archer when in hold (ambush) mode annoyed me quite a bit.
[*]Is there anything that you feel that is underpowered or overpowered on the Warrior?
If anything, I felt they were underpowered, or at least somewhat uninteresting, compared to other classes. The fact that DW (the best tree, IMO) and Archery were shared with rogues made warriors feel a bit redundant. The only half decent talents Rogues didn't get was sword & shield, taunt, and perfect striking.
I'd love an sustained ability that slowed my attacks down (or simply went pure defensive) to gain a substantial bonus to stamina regeneration, in lieu of stamina potions.
[*]What are your favorite Warrior specializations? What are your least favorite?
Champion, for its two very useful abilities. The fact that Rally knocked my Rogue out of stealth every time she entered the AoE was annoying, but just a minor quibble (though a few times, extremely inconvenient).
Templar seemed useful, but I rarely used any of the talents; just not a lot of opportunity to. There was the odd time when someone had a hex on them that I'd use Cleanse area, but most Mage attacks were instantaneous. Most times I didn't want to dispell the beneficial effects on other party members.
Berzerker was very useful but required too much micromanaging since Rage kept turning off. Can't I be continually pissed off because I'm away from my beer, slogging through a stinking dungeon with Morrigan and Ms. Prissy Pants? Would have loved a Rage-fueled AoE similar to whirlwind that knocked enemies back.
Haven't played Reaver yet.
[*]What are your favorite Warrior talent trees? What are your least favorite?
Dual Wielding was the most interesting to play. Lots of runes to power me up (similar to KotOR), lots of varied abilities.
2-handed I found was just not very effective/fun. I'd expect to see more knockdowns, serious wounding, higher damage, etc. Instead, half the time I'm attacking the enemies armor or weapons it seemed, with no noticeable effect. Attack speed was just too slow, the base damage advantage of a 2-handed weapon just did not seem worth it when the strength bonus was so high.
Shield was ok. Starts off very dull, but it grew on me.
Archery was useless, still useless, yawn, then all of the sudden incredible (AoS, ScatterShot). Runes for bows would have been greatly appreciated; "special" ammunition ran out too fast and was just worth too much not to sell for its small effect.

1H + Shield can become boring. This is a play-style and personal preference issue, but I think adding more variety to the Talents especially for the base Warrior Talents and 1H+Shield tree would help.
Also - and this is important to me - I dislike being forced to start off with a weapon spec (1H+shield) when I ultimately want to play a 2H or DW or Archery-based Warrior. This is true for all classes. Please (please!) consider allowing a player to pre-select the starter skills at chargen. For all classes, this seems like a wasted Talent slot unless your character happens to be (in this case) a 1H+Shield tank type character.
What I dislike most about Warrior is that, in general, it's the least fun of the 3 base classes. Mages have so much more potential for variety - I can build many different types of mages and they're all fun (except the heal focused ones, I guess). Likewise, Rogues have more choices on how to play (not as many as Mage, but more than Warrior).
Is there anything that you feel that is underpowered or overpowered on the Warrior?
Archery focus is, I hesitate to say 'underpowered' but it isn't as fun or practical. I would very much like to play a Warrior that focuses on ranged combat, yet I feel that it is gimped because so often we fall to melee range. Crossbow dex modifier is still bugged as of this writing, and this is a part of the problem but it does go deeper than that. So, while the issue isn't Warrior specific (it exists for Archery-centric Rogues as well), a feel a lot of work could go in towards improving Archery Talent trees to make them progress more evenly and be more fun. Let the archers be archers!
What are your favorite Warrior specializations? What are your least favorite?
Dual-wield is visually fun to watch and play. I think it's more rewarding and challenging than 1H+shield tanking roles. So I suppose, Archery excepted, my fav spec is two-weapon fighting, my least fav is sword and board, and 2H weapons fall naturally in the middle.
[edit: I probably misunderstood the question. In order from fav to least fav class specializations, they are:
Champion
Berserker
Templar
Reaver
Champion and Berserker are useful in more situations. I think Templar is too narrowly-defined and Reaver becomes too involved in managing health/action pools. But all the specs are a choice of lesser-evils: I don't really find much enjoyment in any of them, and really pick Champion and Berserker of the four simply because they mesh better with the base Warrior talent trees.
What are your favorite Warrior talent trees? What are your least favorite?
Least fav is Archery. But I want that to be my most fav! This is the key frustration I have with Warriors, as they stand now.
The Warrior class-specific Talents consist of two lines. One line appears tuned for 1H+Shield, and the other appears best-suited to 2H and to some extent, dual-wield. But some of the Talents are similar between each line (e.g., Threaten and Taunt), and even within one line they don't add much excitement. They're heavy in aggro increasing effects, especially when considering some of the 1H+Shield Talents. I suppose again, this is play-style: where I want to be an explosive damage-dealer, and not a damage sponge.
Perhaps more variety in the types of attacks and aggro management Talents? Especially for 1H+shield, which I indicated I thought was a boring Talent tree, I feel they play too much like a one-trick pony and are stuck in tank mode. Really would like to see 1H (and Archery, I suppose) lines have more tools in the toolbox to deal with a wider variety of tactical situations.
Also, base weapon types and their relative damage ranges and armor penetration capabilities might need tweaking. This isn't Warrior-specific, but I think it does contribute to a sense of limitation where one really wants (from a stats perspective, at least) to use weapons that deal the most damage without necessarily needing to worry about armor penetration. This is because, to my knowledge, 1 point of damage potential is always more valuable than 1 point of armor penetration. If I misunderstand this mechanic, then I suppose this aspect of my comments can be disregarded. But if my understanding is correct, it contributes to the sense of limited choices/options especially when considering weapon type focused skill trees for Warrior (i.e., 1H vs 2H vs DW).
On a tangent, I'm less concerned with class balance than I am with making any imaginable build 'fun'. Currently, it's pretty difficult to create a character of any talent combination that can't 'win' the game. So it's pretty easy for me to want to see a character be fun and engaging, without worrying about whether a class or Talent-spec is overpowered or underpowered.

I play two types of warriors. One with shield/sword and one with a 2hander. I am not fond of the precise striking line so I tend to use the top warrior line in both cases.
Is there anything overpowered or underpowered about the Warrior?
I can't say that I feel its either. Maybe way I play it seems to be just right to me but then I tend to equip Starfang and Tower Shield for the Shield/Sword and Starfang 2 handed for when I am playing my 2h warrior.
Specializations:
I use Champion and Templar on the Shield Sword because I find that works best with Rally in combination with Threaten and Shield Wall. Plus this time around I put 42 into strength and 40 into dexterity, 20 constitution, 20 cunning and the rest into willpower made her a really good tank.
I use Champion and Beserker on the 2h Warrior because it seems to work best. Maybe I am just addicted to Rally, its hard to say
My favorite Warrior Trees:
I really only like to do sword/shield for my sword/shield Warrior and 2h tree for my 2h Warrior.
My least favorite Warrior Tree:
Dual Wield. I really haven't tried it much but I just don't think it suits the Warrior.
Exception:
I have a Dalish Elf Warrior that is going to use Archery. So far she seems to be doing quite well with it and I did that specifically because she IS a Dalish Elf. In light armor as well. I am considering doing the Precise Striking line to see if I like it any better in this setup.

Versatility - going sword + shield I found I was decent at tanking or damaging. Plus I loved how massive armor designs looked / stats - ex. warden commander armor is by far my favorite. Nothing much that I didn't like about it, other than feeling like I didn't have as many options w/ skills (ex. I wouldn't go without shield wall, taunt, or death blow). Stamina was usually a big issue for me since there'd be hate / CC skills but you can't really go around chugging stamina pots the way I would lyrium potions. I haven't yet tried simply using mushrooms yet though. I guess medium or heavy armor would be another option, but it just didn't seem to be worth trading the extra defense / style, so I've never downgraded from massive once I was able to use it.
Is there anything that you feel that is underpowered or overpowered on the Warrior?
Also with taunt and threaten it seemed like a given mob wouldn't really stick all that well if someone else started hitting it from behind. I guess it was fine for extended, single target fights, but for your everyday room full of enemies, it seemed like whichever poor soul happened to wander into the room first, or was standing closer to the mob, would take the hits.
What are your favorite Warrior specializations? What are your least favorite?
Favorite - champion. War cry and rally were awesome and I used them all the time.
Templar - I like the idea, and I usually took this anyways, but I didn't really feel like much of a mage-killer as a templar - it was
more like the general shield skills I had were more useful than the
templar skills itself. Maybe adding more resistance to mage CC skills (cone of cold, paralysis, etc)? I guess simply adding more willpower would help too, but most stat points had to go into str, dex for gear/skill requirements. I just didn't really see mental resistance really helping as much as it should be.
What are your favorite Warrior talent trees? What are your least favorite?
Warrior general tree and weapon + shield. I just didn't really see any benefit to archery or dual wield (more suited to rogue classes, and they already use stats that benefit those it seems). I had trouble going with two-handed since it was much slower, and I would get decent dps with single weapon plus runes.

My suggestion is allowing them to have up to 4 sets of weapons to switch between. This way, if someone pulls some skills from every tree, they can equip their warrior so that he/she can quickly and easily switch between those styles. Similar to what Shale already does by switching between 4 styles in order to access some of its abilities. If a warrior specializes in just one style though, this could allow them to switch between different weapons, and their respective enchantments, to best deal with the current situation.

I like that it's low-maintenance, allowing me some leeway when it comes to making silly mistakes in micromanaging the team and not having to pay for it compared to rogues/mages. I also liked the fact that it had the most variety of armors and equipments to choose from, but that's from an aesthetic point of view.
They also do what they do best, which is to tank and draw aggro while surviving. At first, I was turned away from the warrior in favor of a rogue but they grew slightly on me after a while.
In terms of dislikes, I dislike how similar it feels to a rogue in terms of skillsets. Really, they share two entire trees of fighting styles (Dual Weapons and Archery). Personally, it's just the rogue fanboy in me but I think that dual weapons is much more suited for ambidextrous types like rogues who can move around fluidly without being encumbered by heavy/massive armor. But that's more of a RPG archetype gripe for me than anything else.
Entertainment-wise, warriors don't hold my attention as much a rogue or mage. Like I said before, it's low-maintenance, but that that low-maintenance comes at a price of having me losing my interest.
* Is there anything that you feel that is underpowered or overpowered on the Warrior?
I suppose this ties into the entire "dual-wielding is for a rogue" thing I had going before, but like a few others have commented, if done right, a dual-wielding warrior is potentially more lethal than a rogue (again, this is all personal opinion, I'm not claiming it as fact; those are for the number crunchers in other threads), with the main reason being that warriors don't need to position themselves or rely on other skills to incapacite their targets for backstabs. It's not to say that I don't believe in warriors dual wielding; it's more of a "meh, I don't want to believe that warriors can perform just as well/better than rogues at their own game, especially when you have like 5 tons of steel plastered on you"
In terms of underpowered, I'm sure others have commented on the 2h tree, and I'm inclined to agree. There are a few things which I absolutely love about it, such as Indomitable (stun-free = win, among other buffs/debuffs within attacks like Sunder Arms and Armor) and the passive ability to stun per hit, but the swing speed is as others said. Now, I realize that it's not the way to play a 2h warrior, as most of their damage is via active skill managing (using the skill right after the attack animation finishes, for example), but the problem lies in when you can't finish a horde of enemies within a few hits and the stamina bar hits zero.
In terms of Sword and Shield, it's the lack of crowd control. Defense/Armor is always welcomed but unless you take a Champion/Templar specialization (and get War Cry/Holy Smite, the latter being not so great without mods), you'll have enemies lining up around you wanting some sword. Might as well go and run around outside for a few hours before all said enemies are done.
* What are your favorite Warrior specializations? What are your least favorite?
I'm not really sold on one particular specialization; I hold them all evenly, with the exception of Reaver because I've never gotten to play with it (I made the disclaimer about warriors not holding my attention too long). In terms of usefulness, they're not that far apart; Champion/Templar always worked for me and Berserker wasn't too shabby, except for the Berserk part. That was always annoying, having to retoggle it constantly.
What was also annoying was Rally. Rally just killed it for my Rogues. Whenever a cloaked Rogue would step into the radius of Rally, they would decloak and there would be another third of a minute gone, waiting for the cooldown to reset. As Shale says when you're standing about, waiting for cooldowns, "I could've done this back at Honnleath" {smilie}
But I suppose what I said in the last paragraph could have gone into the aforementioned questions.
* What are your favorite Warrior talent trees? What are your least favorite?
Favorite talent tree would be Sword and Shield. It really takes me back and it's just a classic. It barely edges out 2h for me, especially since 2h was far more interactive with the entire relying on active skills for optimal results.
I'm fine with Archery.
Dual-Wielding is my least favorite, if only because I like my rogues to be the master of this style, and now we have warriors coming in and being on par/better than them while covered in sheets of armor.

-Armor looks great, for the most part.
-The animations for sword-and-board were very nice.
-I liked the kill shot animations, even though it was occasionally annoying to get stuck in one in the middle of a battle.
-Playing a warrior actually felt active...
What I didn't like:
-Playing a warrior actually felt active...for a while. Once stamina was gone, which could be very quick for a sword-and-board tank, that was pretty much it. Mages could just drink a potion, but there was nothing for warriors to do but wait. Some sort of stamina equivalent to the lyrium potion would be a huge addition.
-Some talents felt redundant. Even though I eventually had Shield Bash, Shield Pummel, Overpower, and Assault, I don't think I ever used even three of those abilities in a fight. I would have felt better with maybe two talents of the sort, maybe one for damage and one for single-target CC, and then some passive talents that improved those.
Same with Shield Wall, Shield Defense, and Shield Cover. I'd rather just have one sustained shield defense talent, and then some passive talents to improve that talent.
-The weapons and armor are comically large. It may seem like a minor thing, but it has always bugged me. I seriously can't play a 2H warrior because the weapons and animations look like he's swinging a tree trunk around. For a realistic-ish game, it's really jarring for me.

Warrior is straightforward and easy to play. It's fun to be able to wade into battle, tank or otherwise, and just whack things without needing to worry about the danger as much as a rogue would. A geared and specced warrior far exceeds the tanking capability of an Arcane Warrior (as it should) and a dps warrior manages to be competitive.
The ease of use can also be a negative at times. The only warrior spec that I make active use of abilities is 2h and that's because I have to in order to do competitive dps (more on that later). A lot of abilities actually result in a dps decrease than if you had just continued to auto-attack. In the future it would be nice to see auto-attacks play less of a role in overall damage.
Aesthetically I have mixed feelings about the class. I love heavy armor. I think it looks fantastic and for my warriors it's been iconic. That said, I think massive armor is abysmally bad and I never wear it on any of my 3 main character warriors. I reserve it for my companion tank of choice because it's necessary. The plate armor in the concept art for Alistair, Cailan, and Sophia is simply amazing. I hope that in a future game the armor will look more like what is in those concepts. As it is now, I find massive armor to look a little too massive. It's extremely bulky, like you're in a jousting tournament and I'm left to wonder how anyone can fight and move in such equipment. Also, the pauldrons are cartoonishly large.
Is there anything that you feel that is underpowered or overpowered on the Warrior?
I don't find anything to be really overpowered with the warrior class itself.
Underpowered - I can easily say 2h weapons. There's a lot of things going against 2h. For one, weapon enchants. These don't scale with swing speed at all so in late game when a mage can add 25-30 extra fire damage per swing to weapons it's the same across the board. This obviously is a huge advantage to faster weapons. Furthermore, in order to do close to competitive dps with a 2h warrior you must weave in abilities constantly, however abilities do not trigger enchants. The difference between a 2h companion and a 2h PC is astronomical and even the 2h PC isn't quite up to par with a DW warrior. Either 1h weapons do too much, 2h don't do enough, or weapon enchants aren't balanced.
What are your favorite Warrior specializations? What are your least favorite?
Berserker - 3/4 talents are great because they are all about berserking. The ability the last talent gives is never a good option. Overall berserking is fun though I would say it feels like you gain too much while it's active without giving up a lot.
Champion - Good though I can never afford to use the abilities on anything other than a tank so usually what ends up happening is I grab the spec for the 2 willpower on my dps warrior and never spend a talent point in the tree.
Templar - A nice spec but the last talent is pretty weak. This one is mostly worth it for the dispel.
Reaver - A very lackluster spec overall. The only use I found from it was the horror spell and I can count on one hand the number of times I used it.
What are your favorite Warrior talent trees? What are your least favorite?
Despite what I've said about 2h it's still my favorite tree which is a shock to even me. Normally I'm a huge fan of dual-wielding axe warriors but 2h requires lots of skill use which works for me since I like to directly control my main character 90% of the time, only switching to companions during pauses to issue orders. The main reason I love 2h is because it's not all about dps. It's a good mix of interruption and burst damage. Sunder Armor and Weapon are very fun and I like the perks of knockdown immunity and extra damage vs. constructs.
Dual-Wield and Shield are excellent trees but in both cases you only need to pick up a few key talents and you can completely ignore an entire row of talents. Shield attacks don't net much benefit in a fight and the dual striking line is worthless for all intents and purposes.
The actual warrior class talent trees are pretty nice. A few of the talents are must-haves but the end talents for both are not important.
Least favorite is archery. There's so much wrong with archery and the only way I can even see it being worth having is if you're also a ranger for the pet to supplement your damage. This obviously rules out warrior so I personally see no use for the tree as a warrior.

Attack speed and lack of any real range option. 2H and Sword/Shield attack speed is pretty low. Lack of unique Specializations. Berserker and Reaver do not offer different play styles for a warrior character.
What are your favorite Warrior specializations? What are your least favorite?
Templar and Champion works the best. - Templars on their own are probably not overly interesting. Not powerful offensively and very situational since their abilities are mainly focused on magic users. However Templars do a specific task well and that is really what specializations are. Champions on the otherhand have good overall balance offering skills and bonuses that can be used in every battle. Doesn't seem like there is anything wrong here.
Berserker and Reaver seems less favorable. - Berserker needs to be activated and that takes time away from every battle where they could be doing damage. I guess according to the lore they cannot be enraged all the time but really hampers the specialization. Reaver i guess is intended as a reverse of the Champion specialization, offeingr passives and aura types but focusing on trading HP for damage. Aura of Pain is probably its most powerful and useful ability but it does not seem to do enough damage compared to the amount of damage/risk it can incure. Again fairly situational abilities that doesn't offer a great deal of alternate options for combat.
What are your favorite Warrior talent trees? What are your least favorite?
2H and DW is probably the most interesting. - 2H offer good burst damage but the attack speed is terrible. Please increase the attack speed to something a little faster than turtle. DW is great for the warrior, definitely more enjoyable to play as. DW can do better damage overall and have more actives that can offer even more damage. Even no backstabbing for warriors still makes DW a great option.
Sword and Shield and especially ranged suffers greatly. - Sword and shield is built for tanking and when focused on survival, then i suppose damage output has to be sacrificed. i find it hard to hold aggro with Alistar because he cannot seem to do damage fast enough with this weapon setup. Also taunt cooldown takes too long and in the end having your tank go after that straggler going after you mage is annoying. Ranged as itself is a fine talent tree, however it does not look like there are any specialization that compliment it at all. So in the end there is no incentive for a warrior to take any Range talents. So either offer specializations that can take advantage of a range warrior or offer some changes to range talents that make it worth while.

Two handed is fine but speed as mentioned feels almost like > enemy, oh look, here comes a two handed attack, has lunch and waits for impact. An attack that act like a leg sweep AOE zero damage reduced movement speed would also be nice. Also the passive buff power cost can be quite crippling on this build. Misses become painful, especial when you miss an incapacitated target several times in a row.
Dual wield is easily my top pick for the most powerful fighting style in the Warrior tree... high damage great survivability. But some more parry or dodge (for high dex builds) animations would make a far more visually pleasing and entertaining combat style.
All melee classes, suffer from one thing however, repetitive combat, more varied animations needed.
Seeing that archery is a warrior tree... I'll say this, as bland as watching grass grow... repetitive beyond belief, no special attack animations, one overpowered attack and overall takes way to long to catch up to the other combat styles for effective use. Useful it maybe, fun it most certainly is not. Power shot, two arrow attack etc and a decreased reliance on active buffs (way to many of them) would help. Activation times for a number of archery attacks take way to long. The miss rate even with high dex is rediculous. Mages continually resist the only knockdown attack, come on that is absurd.
I use the champion specialisation everytime, I dislike the berserker specialisation (possibly because I miss my old EQ2 berserker lol ) Reaver mmph never used it never will. Templar taken for stat boost, other then that I dislike the feel and utility of it.
edit
Poison use is rediculous with the ability to coat a weapon with multiple pots, should only be one. Weapon sockets should only be allowed one elemental damage types sloted.
A simple hide or show toggle for helmets would be nice... some like them some hate them. I hate them visually

What do you like and dislike about the Warrior?
I like that the Warrior has actual abilities instead of just being about hacking and slashing. The abilities add some much needed flavour to the traditional Warrior class compared to other RPGs. I also like the fact that you don't specialize in a weapon, like in DnD. Specializing in styles instead of weapons allows me to change weapons to suit the situation without being weakened.
On the flip side, many of the abilities seem too similar or redundant. Several knockdown abilties, several stunning abilities, several critical strike abilities, several multi-target abilities, and several extra damage abilities... just one for each style. While I'd like to see more variety in the abilities, I wouldn't complain if it stayed the same. It's much better than having fewer or none at all.
Second, armour choices are limited. It seems your choice is between light armour to avoid drawing attention, or massive armour for protection. The benefits for choosing medium or heavy armour simply aren't good enough to warrant their use. It could also be that there's very little "lengendary" medium or heavy armour to compete with "legendary" massive and light armour.
Is there anything that you feel that is underpowered or overpowered on the Warrior?
Overpowered: I'd say the Dual Wielding tree. There are very little disadvantages to Dual Wielding compared to the other talent trees. The Shield tree is defensive, but wielding a shield adds to fatigue and most defensive modes have some sort of penalty. Archery is slower, deals less damage on average and the activated talents can be interrupted. Two-Handed weapons are slow and lack the defensive bonuses of shields. Conversely, Dual Wielding allows one to use two sets of weapons plus all related bonuses and enchantments (wielding two main hand weapons doesn't help, obviously) and the high attack speed lets them deal higher damage than other warriors.
Underpowered: Two-Handed weapon style. Duel Wielding greatly outdamages it, while Shield style gives better defenses for a negligible damage difference, if any. It simply isn't good enough.
What are your favorite Warrior specializations? What are your least favorite?
Favourite: Templar. It fits very well with Dragon Age lore and provides some excellent secondary abilities for a Warrior. The cost of the activated talents is a bit high, but it works nonetheless.
I would include Champion here as well, but the Rally ability prevents me. There's no indication that it should drain stamina on a constant basis. If it worked like most other sustained abilities, I would be happy with it.
Least favourite: Berserker. Half the talents are spent reducing Berserk's penalties instead of providing something new. Final Blow just isn't feasible in a longer battle. There's potential in this specialization that was missed I think. I could suggest a bunch of things: slightly faster attack and movement speed, small splash damage from wilder swinging, make talents such as Pommel Strike more likely to succeed against large or tough opponents, more messy kills (for fun!), a leap or charge ability like ME2's Vanguard to chase enemies.
What are your favorite Warrior talent trees? What are your least favorite?
The Shield talents work great for me. The only thing I'd like to see would be making shields more of a weapon. For example, a spiked shield could have high armour penetration when you attack with Shield Bash or Shield Pummel. I wouldn't complain if it stayed the same though.
The Two-Handed talents are my least favourite. They're simply outclassed by the Shield and Dual Wielding talent trees. The damage benefit of two-handed weapons simply isn't good enough to warrant their use, and Dual Wielding outdamages it anyway. I wouldn't object to poor defense stats of two-handed style if the extra damage was worthwhile. As it stands though, shield users are nearly as good offensively as two-handed users while being much better defensively.

[*]Dislike: the MMO conventions that were used to base it on. TANK, DPS, AGRO etc are to me moronic stuff created by people who never bothered to think about real tactics. Also the fact that your NPC supporters in the back can not be depended on to keep themselves out of harms way without constant intervention made playing a warrior frustrating, since it involves a lot of camera manipulation to check what is going on behind you. The specializations, only champion and bezerker made sense from a role playing perspective to me. The fact you could not form a shield wall as the enemy would just run between your characters.
[*]Like: I thought the class worked well and I had fun with finding out ways to use the abilities. The fact that the combat animations did look reasonable. I think the class is the hardest of the three to play and it is hard to say exactly what was fun about it...part of the joy was near the end when you had the hitpoints, attack and defence bonuses to just wade into combat and have a blast with your character.
[*]Least Favorite Specializations: Templar and Reaver...both seem absurd from a role playing perspective.
[*]Favorite Specialization: Champion and if I had played a dwarf bezerker would work from a role playing perspective.
[*]Farvorite Talent trees: Weapon and shield, archery and two handed weapon. Weapon and shield works well I though and I was very happy with it. Archery was equally useful and I never have found it underpowered. Two handed weapon has only one major draw back and that is a serious lack of defence. Nearly always the two handed weapon user was the first to fall. This is as much to do with the NPC characters which don't emphisis dexterity sufficiently as anything but the tree as a whole could use a defence bonus passive skill.
[*]Least favoirte talent tree: duel wielding. It is moronic and nothing but an artificial game play creation. The use of the second weapon in reality was very rare and nearly always used defensively replacing a shield so it is hard to take this MMO derived cheesy... well politeness stops me from continuing.

The most Armor and Weapon Choices
The ability to be in the thick of the action
Great Animations
Dislike:
Apparently Medium, Heavy, and Massive armor all have the same Aggro drawing bonus, which really makes Medium and Heavy pointless except as stepping stones.
Pointless Archers
Glut of Warrior partymembers.
Underpowered:
The two hander warrior is incredibly difficult to start with. He shapes up well at the end, but the injuries mount up.
Overpowered:
Dual Weilding is utterly crazy destructive in the right hands. Which is kind of fun, but it's definitely much stronger than the other trees.
Favorite Specialization:
Champion! The area debuff/knockdown is very useful, and the area buff is something every party needs.
Least Favorite:
Beserker. I just don't feel like it really does anything. I mean, I know it does, but I don't feel like it when I use it.
Favorite Tree:
Dual Weilding has something for any situation a warrior can find itself in. The only place it comes up a little short is with the anit-knockdown, but it's ability to incapacitate and dish out damage to all around is far more beneficial.
Least Favorite:
Archery is rather pointless for the warrior. It's just something that Rogues do so much better, and there is no advantage I can see to having a Warrior as an archer.

1) the party healer if there's any
2) health potions
3) very expensive equipment (armor)
than to any of their innate abilities. Very few warrior talents actually do anything to improve their survival, the only thing they seem to have going for them is a slightly bigger health pool.
Too many weapon-specific talents (2 trees for each weapon style would have been enough IMO), resulting in some of them having overlapping effects (the 3 shield modals could have been merged into one or two) or being plain filler (the passives, mostly), not enough class-specific talents, making warriors and rogues very similar (rogues can do most of what warriors do just as well, the opposite isn't quite as true, though).
Considering that most of the game pits you againt overwhelming numbers, they could really use one universal aoe-attack, in addition to the weapon specific ones already available. Kinda like the double strike of the revenant, for example.
What I like ? They come with a bunch of health which is pretty useful early on. I like the look of massive and medium armor though I don't see any reason to use the later from a powergaming standpoint (much higher strength requirements and fatigue for very little more protection compared to light armor).
Well, overal, I love the look&feel of the warrior, but I think they weren't done much justice in terms of game mechanics.
Underpowered :
2 handed weapons could use a 10 to 20% (hell, maybe even more) increase in their attack speed to bring them on-par with the other weapon styles.
Ranged weapons are good as secondary weapons (props on getting that right, btw), but dedicated archers feel lacking. Typically you can only field one dedicated archer in a party and they don't seem to pull their weight (while massed AI-controlled archers can be deadly). The fact that many buffs and items (flaming weapons, poisons, runes...) don't work with ranged weapons only adds insult to injury. On the other hand, ranged specialists have no use for melee sidearms since they can fire at point blank without penaly.
Random rant : I'd really like warriors to have a knockdown that can't be resisted to save my characters from the grabs and overwhelms without having to rely on <powerful spell here>. Or better, don't allow resistance checks while grabbing. Watching one of my character's health being quickly drained away while I can do absolutely nothing about it = NOT FUN.
Overpowered :
Momentum is too good. Slow it down or make it like perfect striking : an activated with some duration and some cooldown. Stamina consumption doesn't make up for its power since you don't really need to use anything else while it's on. And increasing the stamina consumption would just make it annoying.
Warrior specilizations :
I liked champion and templar, especially coupled together. The champion abilities help the entire party, which was very nice in a melee-heavy party. The main appeal of the templar for me was cleanse area, which proved very useful (pretty much compulsory, in fact...) against curses, hexes and crushing prison, a number of spells that spell "quickload" under most circumstances. Superiority and Holy smite give some much needed aoe crowd control though they come too late IMO (level 15-16).
Berzerker was meh for me, some people have given better feedback on it than I could, so I'll leave it at that.
Reaver just felt like it was only good at getting my own character killed. Didn't give it much second thought, maybe I missed on its true potential.

i feel that the warrior is reasonably well balanced, though its ranged ability is somewhat weak, with its reliance on dexterity, and the warriors tendency to favour strength and constitution, as well as the lack of crossbows to be found...
the Champion, for its group buffs, and the shiny-happy-hero feeling it gives you. Templar for its tactical application vs mages.
... i was actually very suprised when Ranger was a Rogue spec, it seemed to fit so well with the Warrior path in most other games... but the above mentioned DEX deficiency i suppose makes a ranged option for Warriors (as they are now) less logical.
Sword and Shield talent tree would be my favourite of the warrior trees. my PC or Alistair usually focusses on this tree almost exclusively.
The dual wield tree for warriors is again difficult to support due to the warrior's DEX deficiency... but a high dex warrior can make a killing with dual weapons... (i tend to favour dual weapons over two handed weapons.
I'm not a fan of the Reaver, though some others might find its "death knight" appeal...

- Disengage and Perfect Striking are way out of place being in the same tree as Taunt.
- A single target taunt to supplement the existing AoE taunt would be nice.
- A lot more abilities are needed. The warrior feels very limiting in abilities to choose from compared to the diversity of mage spells.
- 2 handed warriors need a slight attack speed increase.
- Polearms would be nice.

What do you like and dislike about the Warrior?
Like: Each weapon style is well-made with a good variety of unique, useful abilities.
Dislike: Aggro control is a bit too strong . Right now, it's just dumb that you can have one "tank" character absorbing all hits becuase the enemies totally ignore the 3 other guys pelting them. I play with a balance mod which fixes this. Taunt was reduced in effectiveness by 80% with its stamina cost reduced to 15, and Threaten was changed to a single-target ability. The taunt change may be a -bit- overdone, but overall I think it's great. The warrior still is at the forefront of the fight taking more than his share of the hits, but my other characters can no longer run around doing whatever with little fear of attack.
Some things are unclear, as well. There's a passive ability that reduces the attack penalty of Shield Defense, for example. The tooltip on Shield Defense says that this passive ability ELIMINATES the attack penalty, whereas the tooltop to the ability itself only says it REDUCES the penalty.
There's a few things like that which should be clarified.
As stated above, I think aggro control is too strong. It's too easy to have one "Tank" take all the hits while 3 mages just destroy everything. I think all of the "mages are overpowered" complaints stem from this.Is there anything that you feel that is underpowered or overpowered on the Warrior?

Underpowered? I don't think so.

I am not fond of the Precise/Perfect Striking talents as the cost never seemed worth it when there are so many other abilities to maintain and so very little stamina with which to maintain them.
I enjoy Sword/Shield Warriors best because Rogues handle Dual Wielding better. Furthermore, Two Handed, apart from Pommel Strike, was vastly underwhelming. It is the single reason I have yet to give Oghren a chance. The heartbreak from a playthrough with Sten as my tank was enough to turn me off.
Archery sucks due to its speed, cost, and general impracticality when a Rogue can do it just as well AND pick locks, but increasing its power would be devastating to the campaign. Every enemy group seems to be at least 70% archers.
Berserker is bland. I prefer Templar because of the Cleanse Area ability. It's great utility that adds a bit of flavor to the class. Maybe the Templar's otherwise negligible mana drain passive should add a chance to dispel. Champion is fun, but ultimately unnecessary. I guess that's kind of how I feel about all of the specializations. None of them really changed the play-style of the character in question all that significantly.

- What do you like and dislike about the Warrior?
- I dislike that you are forced into specializing into one tree and neglect the others.
- Is there anything that you feel that is underpowered or overpowered on the Warrior?
- Having played all the warrior types, i find archery to be a limiting tree, if not useless, as massive armor limits the effectiveness of bows.
- What are your favorite Warrior specializations? What are your least favorite?
- Templar is my favorite, based on the lore of being a mage hunter and a holy warrior. Only wish it was better for dealing with mages.
- Second favorite would be the champion tree, only issue here is that I wish it had more benefits to the group.
- Reaver was all right but I only used the horror effect as the others seemed to have little benefit.
- Have not tried the Berserker.
- What are your favorite Warrior talent trees? What are your least favorite?
- Duel Wield is my favorite.
- Two handed.
- Sword and Board, only issue here is that it has way to many sustained effects.
- Archery, already covered the issue I had.
