Steve Cortez is the sorriest excuse for a character to ever grace the Mass Effect series, brought ME3's story down a lot...

Well fair enough then, I wont even try to create another argument for fear of insinuating something i know not alot about.
No i dont think things are unacceptable if they disagree with me, Thats you implying it does. Some things just dont need over-analyzing.

"I hated him and his creepy gayness"
is not an argument, there's no way to defend against something like that. Yes you "apologized" but now you're trying to justify it as an argument again.

The argument made is that hating gays because a gay man made a pass at you is ridiculous. He might have thought you looked like someone who might be interested. It's called trying to meet people, trying to find "the one".
Men do it all the time with women, but no one seems to have a problem with that.
It's not an issue of sexuality, it's just someone suspecting they might have a chance and you rejecting them and it gets uncomfortable.
That's because men are men, lets not pretend men are woman.
They're not same and they not equal they both have their differences.
So now you should understand why it is wrong to use the same standards for men.
Men getting raped is seen as a joke usually and not taken seriously, that alone describes how far their standards should be separated.

No, we'd be calling it Carth Syndrome. At least to my knowledge Steve never tells romanced Shepard, "You remind me of Robert..."Adoramei wrote...

That's not what Carth Syndrome is. Carth Syndrome is the male LI having a dead SO and then constantly bringing it up in his current romance, to the point of drawing direct comparisons with the wife and the female PC. "You remind me of her! She was strong and beautiful and smart and-..." Examples: Carth, Sky, Thane. Zevran showed hints of this, but thankfully didn't go full into it with the comparisons.J.
