I couldn't ever remember to ask about it until now. When teammates bleed out during games that I host, sometimes I'll notice them being alive again later in the wave. They haven't left and rejoined, and I believe some of the deaths were from synckills. How does that work?

Sometimes when I'm Praetorian sync-killed, I just end up alive right next to it. Lately on Firebase White, I've fallen through the level when I went down and respawned alive and well on the landing pad.

I had a weird off-host experience on Firebase White Reaper (forget difficulty--probably Silver) where I was playing my Drell Vanguard. I was trying (and trying, like 5 attempts) to do a Biotic Charge and an invisible Banshee sync-killed me. I watched myself die in midair and then, next thing I know (same wave) I was alive and probably 2 charges away from my weird death.

Space magic indeed.

dont think so, your still using a consumable while escaping the occasional bs that this game generally delivers.

I have pulled a "christ" move out of a crab sync-kill about a half dozen times in the last week.. Still trying to figure out what causes us to survive it

Last second medigel, Ops Pack synch kill dodge, staggered out of synch kill, TECH ARMOR, enemy killed during synch kill, FB White weirdness, death involving Husks, lag...

All sorts of weird crap can result in you dying and getting back up again. Just go with it. Say a space wizard did it.

Clever use of game mechanics...

I've noticed that if you get grabbed for a sync kill but are killed by something else first (say a banshee grabs you but the marauder shoots you to death before she finishes), then it will revive you. It doesn't always happen and I have no idea what causes the glitch.

^ this is different. We are talking about a definite BUG. You are insta-killed, no other dmg. Then, at the last moment you appear unharmed next to the enemy. No rez, no bleed out

some reason why yo ustill alive when in sync kil lsequences

1. sometimes when I was grabbed by Banshee.praetorian etc I was being shot by ravager/Scion and I die first before banshee finish executing me.

2. Rio map is the 2nd glitchiest map ever. At same place when you are being synckilled suddenly your character going down to the outside map, if that phenomenon occurred then you will automatically revived.

that's what I notice...the other bug/glitch not so much

Sometimes apparently if you die and fall through the map the game just revives you in the landing zone? I think I've seen that happen a couple of times.

I think it can also happen if u are revived by a teammate at the last possible second.
