I'll explain: I'm planning on one last, ultimate playthrough of the whole trilogy and I'll do it as Renegon (mix of Paragon and Renegade, but mostly Renegade).
Anyway, it's actually easier for me to make the big decisions than the small ones, like whether to spare or kill some minor characters. Depending on whether they deserve to die, of course:
- Shiala: served Saren, but possiby only as a result of indoctrination.
- Rana Thanoptis: also helped Saren, but without indoctrination; could still be forced though.
- Major Kyle: a former marine suffering from PTSD, had Alliance officers killed.
- Niket: he betrayed Miranda, but seemed to have good intentions; should I let Miranda kill him or leave it to Enyala?
- Maelon Heplorn: trying to cure the genophage, but using extremely unethical experiments
- Aresh: trying to restart the Teltin facility, but clearly has mental issues because of his childhood
- Sidonis: betrayed Garrus, but is haunted and depressed by it
There is probably more of them, but I can't remember right now. Anyway, who would you kill/spare and why?
Which NPCs deserve to die?

Yeah, they are not on the list because my Akuze Shepard will definitely kill the cerberus scientist in Toombs' mission and spare Toombs. Also, Dr. Saleon definitely deserves to be killed.

Quick refresh, who was Aresh? I'm thinking of the guy you meet at the end of Jack's loyalty mission, that right?

- Rana Thanoptis: Not sure, I thought she was genuinly forced on ME1 but in ME2 she was (not sure what she was doing) her own will...Leaning towards kill
- Major Kyle: Spare, his situation is understandable, hell let him have his revenge i say!
- Niket: Miranda should do it simply because he didn't ask miranda why she 'stole' Oriana, he just went with what miranda's father told him...
