what was your Shepard wearing?
when my Shepard was using a normal armor (not collector or any of those sets) and I had red, the clone got blue.
with another Shepard I had yellow and the clone got red
my theory was that if I already picked red, the clone gets blue, but if red wasn't taken the clone would use it.
which is kind of ridiculous since the clone tries to pretend they're Shepard

I think it's determined by the armor you're wearing.
Customized Armor = Red Clone Stripe
N7 = Blue Clone Stripe
Can't confirm for sure though.

How odd. I haven't thought anything of it since my CloneShep wore the standard red-striped N7 armor. I was wearing customized armor, a mix of Rosenkov and Kassa pieces.
