Anything else like the 3 stepping stones to unleash the dragon trapped in stone in Orazzamar?

I normally run around tabbing all the time so I can see whats clickable and it makes me wonder what else I'm missing. What other secrets took you a couple playthroughs to discover?

I missed that one completely on my first playthrough. And the Phalactery where you get Arcane Warrior from.

Wait... Dragon in Orzammar? There are 4 dragons in this game to be slayed and not just 3!?!?!? Where???

The 4th one is really more like a drake, even though it's labeled 'dragon.'

The one I missed was getting the key in the beginning to open the mage chest in Ostagar

Good Stuff! What about secret doors? The only one I know of that you "discover" is the one in the Werewolf lair near the entrance.


/edit hmmmm  apparently there are 3 secret doors at the begining of the werewolf lair... wow.

Oh and it took me a few playthroughs to get the Dark Legion Armor Gangue spawn

Well Your pc have to be able to don the Legion of the Dead armor so, not everyone gets it first time around... *gangue fade*

Any character can wear the Legion of Dead armor to spawn the Gangue Shade, as long as they can wear the armor. As neither my rogue or my mage could wear the armor, Oghren triggered it both times I've been through there.

Hell yeah. But the worst was all the codex entries and all 21 bonuses in the Fade. All those hidden things, took me 3 goes to figure them all, and had to write myself copious notes so I didn't forget any of them in future runs.

Summoning Sciences and Watchguard of the Reaching were tricksy too - much shorter and simpler, ofc, but tricksy nevertheless.

Edit: For those who didn't know about the dragon in orzammar - don't forget your loot.

what elven ritual? you talking about the jar and water one ?

edit : and the dragon is not behind the throne it comes from a secret spot in the roof between the tables

edit edit : what i need to know is where do you get the "dawn" ring at  . you get the "dusk" in the forest .you can use it to trade with  the old crazy mage . But there is a reference to an old story when both are worn together they have a special power of some kind .but  both rings were separated over the years . anyone know where the other ring is ??????????????

Dawn ring is the reward you get from Shianni after dealing with the darkspawn invading the alienage towads the end of the game.

Oh and after you get the ashes you can go back to the town .And behind one of the houses there are headstones you can click on .you cant click on them before you get the ashes only after. very cool though

You do have to do it before completing the Anvil of the Void quest, however, as I just today found out.  Guess I get to fight Branka again.

Shade? What? Where? How? Is that quest explained in the wiki? I've never even heard about that one until now.

As for the throne dragon, I can't find the 3rd plate for the life of me. Darn, I hate having to run to the wiki, it feels, well, cheap.

If you found the first 2, then chances are you found the 2 right next to each other.  The third one's in the center of the previous room, if I remember correctly.

There are two in the throne room and one in the room outside of it.



And yeah, once you've crowned a king, you can't trigger it anymore. I guess they don't want you letting even a young dragon loose in a throne room crowded with bowing and scraping nobility.
