There has been talk in the works for awhile now of finally doing a
sequel to Planescape: Torment, arguably one of the best, if not the best
CRPG ever made.

A kickstarter has finally been set in motion to make this happen.

am more than a little excited to check it out. Of course it won't use
the Planescape setting because Wizards of the Coast sucks. However, I am
sort of glad because I don't want them to use anything anywhere near
the D20 system for it.
 
If you want another true RPG in the roots of BG, icewind dale and abviosuly torment i ask you to support this project!!

You don't want them using anywhere near the d20 system for a game that is like Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, and Planescape Torment? How does that even make sense?

It would HAVE to use a similar system or else it just wouldn't feel the same. It is like going from Fallout 1 and 2 into Fallout 3, which doesn't really play like the predecessors. Yes, I did like Fallout 3, but truthfully they didn't feel the same.
