There has been talk in the works for awhile now of finally doing a
sequel to Planescape: Torment, arguably one of the best, if not the best
CRPG ever made.
A kickstarter has finally been set in motion to make this happen.

I
am more than a little excited to check it out. Of course it won't use
the Planescape setting because Wizards of the Coast sucks. However, I am
sort of glad because I don't want them to use anything anywhere near
the D20 system for it.
If you want another true RPG in the roots of BG, icewind dale and abviosuly torment i ask you to support this project!!

Going a little off track, here, but why do people call this a Planescape: Torment sequel?
- No Nameless.
- No Faerun.
- No Blood War.
- No Planes.
- No ancient/medieval setting.
- No D&D.
The only thing it seems to have in common with P:T is Monte Cook. Monte Cook has done a lot of things.
It's like calling The Right Stuff the sequel to Andy of Mayberry.

Well, there are a number of other people involved with this one that also worked on PS:T, not just Monte Cook. It's not a sequel, I agree. You could call it a spiritual successor, though.
