One thing I really hate about PUGs is how in every game there is a Juggernaut. I would be fine with this IF THEY ACTUALLY USED CONSUMABLES and actually gelled when they're about to bleed out. This is about 95% of the Juggs I play with and they do nothing.

My friend loves the Juggernaut, and when he plays as it he will use consumables/missiles/medigel/Ops packs. He knows his role is to stay alive as much as possible, and will use everything at his disposal to make that happen.

I've been having this problem on Gold, but even my Silver PuGs aren't that bad...

Honestly i think alot of people moved up to gold using the juggernaut and eventually got bored of heavy meleeing all the time so are using different classes. Problem is they have no experience in actually doing damage and staying alive so we get teammates who score 10k in gold...

well in all fairness thye did not look the had played much. However I was able to use a lvl 14 vanguard with only level 1 weapons and solo each wave and they has level 20 characters and died almost every wave. Just was surprising to see them not be able to stay alive long lol

Do the same !


Some chars are ready at level 14, some at 6; just PUG gold and put on level one consumables !

very challenging (for me) and fun !


Im' working on the N7 challange anyway, so it's a great way to make it !

Lots of scrubs and stubborn ones at that, with an idea that they can play gold after 5 games and then moan when you don't revive them. I always make sure to let them bleed out and solo the waves and waste their time.

I'm seeing this problem a lot on Gold. One guy switched his mic on part way through a match and talked to my friend and me. He was saying he wanted to play on Gold to get credits quicker so he could get better weapons and characters. He died nigh-on instantly at the beginning of every wave. He was whining on about how he'd been kicked out by another lobby and how rude they were to him.

His level was <50. As soon as the match was over, we kicked him out.

To me, it is clear that players know how much more you can earn on Gold, so just "free-load" off better players, making us waste our consumables rather than just play on difficulties suited to them. It really p1$$e$ me off, especially when our team fails to extract due to them, as with the above game.

yeah..the quality of pugs has gone down a great deal since the last DLC was released. lots of newish folks playing gold and platinum with lack of weapons/gear.

Recently I have been seeing a lot of low levels, N7 < 120. Juggs and AIUs mainly. Don't have a problem with those characters but it makes them play difficulties they're not ready for. Strangely saw a guy with N7 350ish, but Avenger I, no not a Lancer.

I only pug. There is a large number of new players and a lot of vets are leaving. This means less talent. I am good enough to solo gold with ease. Instead, I'll hand out free creds to the needy. If u r confident. You should too.

Still won though. PUGs aren't that bad. If they can't get a score above 2k, they at least function as walking decoys

PuG is really bad lately on PS3.
Eariler I hosted a game with FQI, condor/gethy/gold... and got wiped at wave 9.
I am ashamed I could not solo it.. but I was soloing pretty much from wave 4 straight after that through Geth Prime sniping hell...
The two teammates simply quit midway.. the last Cabal tried very hard but simply was not good enough to defeat Gold Pyro / Hunter on her own.
We had no new drop in. Nobody plays this game I suppose...

It`s like this almost everyday... PuG quality has been very painful because players just treat it way too casually even for PuG. No equipment, no teamwork, no consumable, no care. It`s like twice more work than it used to be.

I was playing with someone earlier who was using the Human male Engineer against Geth on Gold...He had a spitfire and another weapon equiped (think it was a shotgun). In fairness he did try and communicate and did have equipment on but he really struggled to keep up and had to be carried for the most part, I think he ended the match with around 30k.

Had to do that 2 games for Wave 6+ earlier
Doessn't seem like many of them know the definition of Medigel. Also seen PS3 servers get slightly worse. Noticed that most games either 3 people join at wave 2, or you're stuck and get some rare stragglers join.

PC Gold PUGs are crap, as a rule. It's routine to have two bad players, I just pray there's one person who can play other than me. It's really testing my limits, sometimes I just can't carry them to completion (sniper on Glacier, say, or bad luck, or *cough* making a mistake.) And it's also restricting what kits I feel comfortable playing.

I'm getting a lot more ruthless about not reviving people, too. If it's a dangerous revive I've got to let them bleed out, they're useless anyway, and if I go down permanently I know they can't complete a late wave.

I really wish they'd play Bronze and Silver first. I mean, I'm seeing more than one person, in a match, with an N7 under 120. I routinely see people with challenge ratings under 1k, or even 500. They have level 1 rare or UR guns, or they're using guns that are worthless to their build, they don't use equipment, and some of them don't even use gear.

Sometimes I don't mind, it can be a challenge to carry. But it's becoming too often.

Yep, low N7, low Challenge pts, bad weapons and no equipment. I should go.

Or if I'm being a jerk I force a kick, by messaging the higher players to make sure the lower guy gets kicked, or I pack up my BW X and lvl IV equipment and leave. Seriously Gold and Platinum, with an Avenger III? Heeeeell no.

I agree with the OP also. PUGs are worse than ever. Ryoldschool and I played one earlier today where one pug got 60k and the other got 30k in U/U/G... we weren't even trying hard either. I ended up with 185k (Cerb. Adept) and he had 140k (Juggy). We each got a friend request from one of them after the game lol.

They don't kill anything... never gel... and are generally worthless.

Wow that's bad.  Even on PC I was scoring higher than that in a Gold game...with a Viper 1.  Played a couple Gold games with a couple people who added me from BSN on PC and a random.  My score was 70k (if i remember correctly), with a salarian engineer.  Drill Ammo 3, Sniper Rifle Amp 1, Shield Booster 1, Cyclonic 1.  Two people were destroyers with good weapons, the other was a fury make everything go bewm bewm.  So there's no sense in PUGs being that bad.  Unless of course they're lagging really bad.  

If you ever want a non-random noob to play with just send me an invite.  99% of the time I'm on netflix, but I check for messages every half hour or so.

I am playing PUG platinum at the moment to earn big cash to upgrade the reckoning guns and i've extracted 95% of times. PUG's are rocking, PC here.
