Funny, I'm watching as BSN approves of FBWGG where they used to hate everything to do with it, almost more so than Rio.
Anyways, I'd probably go back to farming every once in a while. It was relaxing. Though it is still very doable.
I think it has something to do with the number of ultra-rares increasing by more than 60% in the last DLC. There were 8 avaiable at launch, with the others added a few at time over the course of a year. Anyone who played regually would slowing be leveling up the older ones while unlocking the newer ones as they came out. Hence, farming was looked at as unnecessary.
Now, a year later, they jump the number of UR by more that half again. Then also immedaitely end support, meaning the promo weapons, which had be essentially free, now cost as much as an UR as well. It's like being 4/5 of the way to what you think is the top of a mountain, only to have the clouds part and reveil your barely half way. At that point an easier trail is starting to sound like a pretty wise choice, if you actually want to make it to the top.
Plus, it's been long enough now, we're starting to look back on FBW/G/G with the nostalgia goggles.
