Your Top 5 Good/Bad things Bioware did

1. Micro-transation model+free DLC
2. Changes to FBW.
3. Krogans
4. Patches
5. Text chat. Wait no....
Bad:
1. Joining EA
2. Balance changes weren't very thorough, the majority of assault rifles were and still are very underpowered throughout the year.
3. Ending support so quickly after Reckoning. Come on, 1 balance change is not enough to sort out all the balance issues from all these new weapons/characters. The Spitfire will now forever be crap.
4. Waiting until balance change day to inform us that it's been delayed, or that the balance change 2 weeks ago had been the last. Seriously guys, they didn't tell you it was over for 2 weeks after the last balance change?
5. Treatment towards players for their own failures. Disconnected? We can't afford to possibly give free credits to exploiters, so you'll have to forfeit not only your consumables, but also all promised credits and exp and challenges. Got the 6/6/6/6/6 glitch and not a forumer? Too bad, you're magically supposed to know the amount of points a lvl 20 character should have, even if you just started the game.

1. Balance changes
2. Added equipment like gear, lvl 4 ammo, etc.
3. Shieldgate adjustment whereas guns like the Javelin don't suck anymore
4. Vanguard glitch fix (although that introduced another Vanguard bug). At least I'm not flying...
5. Earth DLC
Bad:
1. No dedicated servers and/or in-game server list. Srsly EA/Bioware, you dropped the ball here.
2. Spacebar does everything
3. "Please wait while we search for outstanding purchases......for 30 seconds". If you're going to let RNG screw me over, at least do it at a timely fashion the moment I submit a purchase.
4. Talon Mercenary key-binding bug. How the hell did the devs miss this?
5. Stunlock

Good:
1. free DLC
2. show continued passion and support for their MP game (attempted bug fixes and balanced updates)
3. challenges
4. give fans *some* of what they want- namely, a diversity mirroring the variety of characters and alien types found in the SP game (though customization could have been much better)
5. just being open-minded and acknowledging that ME MP, while there's many things to work on, has a bright future (softens the blow of the SP ending debacle for the fans and the company)
Bad:
1. not separating shared abilities between different kits for balance purposes
2. releasing TC as powerful as it was (set player expectation for what an infils power level should be too high)
3. overdo-ing the grenade system (its a mess of a system, esp after all the power creep)
4. linking fps/lag to enemy performance
5. completely RNG store, no other options but the casino
.. more.. not cause I'm trying to be cynical, but cause BW has to be aware what should go better next MP installment, as I and pretty much everyone here wants it to be the best it can be.
6. implementing executes w/ shoddy/cheap design and reliance on taking player control away for difficulty (ie. Geth)
7. one button rules all
8. too many disparities between consoles and PC (keybindings, fps issues, ini edits, RCing ease, namely)
9. overzealous anti-camping measures (that also helped skew faction balance- again)
10. search function being too basic (so if farm setups develop, as they will, it'd be nice to have an easier way to avoid them in public searches)
11. still too many even rudimentary bugs (ie. wrong numbers on evos like HSo's rank 6 frags) lying around after support has been pulled
12. just needed a better underlying system that's more suited to FPS combat (though they're keenly aware of the current limitations already, no doubt)

1. The Cerberus Harrier. I don't actually have it yet but I'm excited to use it. I hope it hasn't recieved any nerfs.
2. Free DLC. Especially Earth.
3. Hazard maps. I like these because you can play on a specific map and still get XP.
4. Characters with combinations of combat/tech/biotic powers. With the Quarian Marksman(which I don't have yet), I could do well with weapons AND hack enemies.
5. Missile Glitch. I'll probably receive a LOT of hate by saying this but I liked it. It was nice to get away from the slow process of getting credits. Everyone needs a massive bonus at some point in a game. Besides, probably ALL of us have done it at least once. I saw it as just helping others get credits.
Bad:
1. Enemy buffs and player nerfs. Why? I don't know of a single enemy buff or player nerf that was actually needed. It is probably another way for EA to get more money--buff enemies and nerf weapons & powers so that players will buy packs to upgrade their items.
2. New objectives. They were good ideas but executed badly. They just don't work in some situations. Escorting a drone through Ravager acid is not practical.
3. Limited character customization. Its limited because you have to buy more packs to get more customization options for your characters.
4. Servers. There is so much lag that shouldn't be there. This is why I play as Soldier characters often. Other characters don't work when there is a 2 second delay between firing and the enemy taking damage.
5. Bugs. There are some which are seriously problematic and have been in the game long enough for most players to notice, including invisible walls around friendly sentry turrets, the large radius of where some enemies can grab and kill you instantly, the infamous static last enemy, etc. I just hope the next Mass Effect game is on next-gen platforms because it won't work on current-gen platforms.

1) Hunter Mode/Geth Scanner/Recon Mine
2) Reload Canceling
3) Collectors as an enemy
4) The Lancer (I don't use it, but it's a very good thing and an important milestone)
5) Tech Explosions
Bad:
1) Screen Shake/Screen Blind from teammates
2) Stunlocking
3) Server Lag/Disconnect
4) Objectives design (combined with enemies specifically designed to rush players)
5) Giving Grenades to practically every new character to encourage Grenade spamming

Good: balancing the classes.
the dlc
collectors
gear bonuses
giving it attention for a whole year
bad: collectors (yes, it is on both lists)
no new salarians
biotic drell useless on gold and platinum
not giving something dominate, slam or flare
still a lot of glitches.

I feel like people hit on most of the good and bad. So the only thing I'll add is that I think it is unfortunate that Bioware didn't capitalize on any of the Citadel DLC content for the MP.1. Enemy buffs and player nerfs. Why? I don't know of a single enemy
buff or player nerf that was actually needed. It is probably another way

Multiplayer has always been challenging just some players are far better at it then others. Rule of thumb when making changes to a game is to always take into account ALL people playing the game the majority in particular. The majority of randoms playing multi are fairly average in skill and place under the N7 1000 lvl. Making big changes just because the veteran players are kicking ass with certain types of weapons, characters and powers is not cause enough to make big changes as a whole.
I very much doubt Bioware really even put the time and effort required to make sure every change was actually necessary. More likely they left it to one person who based the changes on personal preference and the ****ing of veteran players wanting a challenge that clearly was never going to be met. (If you are a pro no change is really going to challenge you because you will only find a way around it)

Again, your point being? Do you see other AAA games rolling out weekend events to keep people interested in a game? Do you see other major studios supporting a game regardless how easy the tasks were?
Halo 4 has both daily and weekly challenges. As for my list...
Good: Not making people pay for access to multiplayer DLC, weekend operations, trying to keep the game balanced, occasional free packs for doing nothing, making the premium Spectre packs and jumbo equipment packs permanent.
Honourable mention: Challenges added in Retaliation that inspired me to try new things.
Bad: Making all new characters/weapons/mods/gear rare or ultra rare, the delay in telling us operations and balance changes were over, several unfixed bugs/glitches, questionable balance changes, not making the premium veteran packs and standard equipment packs permanent.
Dishonourable mention: All of the enemies added in Retaliation.

By the way, plenty of OP/noob friendly kits are still around. Krogod for instance. Also, MOST of the changes were very gradual. There were only a handful of knee-jerk decisions throughout the life of ME3 MP. Saying they didn't put thought into their actions... sounds like you're just bitter about some nerf to some particular thing you liked. The majority of the big time nerfs were justified (I remember farming gold with a bunch of level 1 SEs, I remember farming gold with a bunch of level 1 QFIs, I remember when basically every character used a Geth Plasma Shotgun, etc.).
Dishonourable mention: All of the enemies added in Retaliation.

1. Huge and consistent amount of new content released over this year - all for free!
2. Challenge System - should have been linked with Trophy/Achievement systems on consoles though.
3. Vanguard bugfix and many other things they did in the patches.
4. Listening to the community: we wanted femturians and collector thralls - and we got them.
5. Weekend Challenges. Too bad they're over. =(
Bad:
1. TrollStore.
2. Server connectivity and maintenance. Curse those disconnects!
3. Should have added more maps, or at least more hazard versions.
4. PS3 Collectors freeze and many other bugs that have never been fixed.
5. Gun balancing. Not terribly bad, IMO, but there are certainly some OP and UP guns that fall away from their rarity category.

1) Disconnections.
2) Treatment of players following disconnection (all stuff/credits lost).
3) Lack of communication or ability to confront disconnection issue.
4) Bug helps player => fix immediately. Bug hinders player => ignore forever.
5) Bizarre magnet-hands moments, lag glitches and all the rest of it.
Good:
1-5) Still one of the greatest games of all time. Evidence: we're still here.

1 - ban waves
2 - the game in general
3 - collectors... the best troll ever.
4 - PPR
5 - Bat glove... It should make old 60's batman sound effects when you use it ;D
Bad
1 - The ****ing store is horrible.
2 - The interface is lacking, worse imho than some of the games before 1995, No text chat, no ping/latency indication, shoddy kick features and AFK timer, much good those did, since anyone with a macro keyboard can go around their "precious" AFK timer.
3 - ****ty content management(rewards - XP and credits) as far as disconnects go.
4 - horrible customer management on and off the forums/support site(both ea and BW)
5 - Finally... the way they try to patronize their players. trying to tell them "how to play the game" what happened to "play it your way"

-Balance changes. I have never seen another game company do these WEEKLY.
-Dev interactions with the community. It's rare for devs to play with the players of the game and have the community decide on a couple of things.
-Free DLC. Can't complain about something that's free.
-Weekend challenges. Brought the community together and kept the game alive for many.
-Challenges. While some where flawed (N7, 200 waves, Husk/Abomination points) it was what the game needed.
Honourable mentions: The amount of characters
Bad:
-N7 Ranking/Promotions. This was a horrible idea to rank players since it was an optional thing and extremely pointless anyway with little reward apart from status/leaderboard rank
-Omni-button. Who seriousl'y thought this was a good idea? Mapping at least 4 different things to a single button was a horrible idea and caused a lot of annoyance in the game.
-RNG Store. Not a good idea. Period.
-Low skill ceiling/Taking too long to max manifest. For a game that requires 500-700 hours to max your manifest the skill ceiling is quite low compared to a game like starcraft or something. To fix this Bioware should've made it so it takes less time to max your manifest 300-500 hours or figured out a way for thouse who have been playing for 700 hours + should be waaaaaaaaay better than a person who has been playing for 400. In me3 there wasn't a huge difference between the 2.
-Not adding in more game modes. The game was pretty boring with only one game mode. IMO there should've been a survival or a horde game mode or others ( I can think of plenty)
Dishonourable mentions: Geth/Phantoms and dragoons and the amount of glitches in the game and it being a bad console port for PC
IMO the game wasn't too bad for the Mass effect team's first MP game but it could use some work.

1) Changing the way tech bursts detonate.
2) Grenade gear and the whole gear addition actually
3) Forum response and granting our wishes.
4) Lancer.
5) As someone else said little details like krogan warcries, drell melee chain etc
Bad
1) Tactical cloak ( sure its OP but could have been designed better and not be the cause for so many balance issues )
2) Power denial spheres
3) Power denial swarm spam ( spam is what spoils it for me )
4) Charging time on the acolyte.
5) Match making and lack of text chat.
And many other pros and cons others mentioned
