Before I go on, I must give you the low-down on their load-outs:
PUGs 1+2: Basic Male Human Soldier, Only Adrenaline and Frags, on both. Using an Avenger 10 and a Talon 1 for pug 1, and a Geth pulse rifle 4 only for PUG2.

PUG3 was a kroguard, lvl 20. 'Nuff said.

I proceeded to outscore them ALL. Went down? Hell no. Revive Medal? Gold. Headshot Medal? Gold. Grab Medal? Gold. Kill total medal? Gold. Assist Medal? Silver. Headshot Medal? Gold.

I did ALL the objectives, because the idiots kept getting gut-shanked by phantoms...

End-of-game report convo:

PUG1:.... "&^%$*& you, ****." *disconnects.*
PUG 2: *Dissconnects*
PUG3: "THAT **** WAS AWESOME!!!!"

I proceed to play two more games with PUG3, he does good. Go figure!

I was asked in a Gold/Reapers/Hazard Dagger match yesterday why I was shooting as a Geth Juggernaut and then told that the "whole point of playing that character was to heavy melee everything"...

Back before N7 HQ was in existence and I actually used my mic, I entered a Platinum lobby with 3 people already present. I don't remember anyone's classes as this was many months ago, but I DO remember what was said:

Host notices one PUG is lvl 13 and inpassive aggressive tone: Hey man you sure you don't have a lvl 20 you want to run? We ARE playing platinum you know?

PUG in pompous tone: Nah man I'm good, I usually run this class on Gold at lvl 1.

Host explodes into the mic: NOT WITH ME YOU DON"T. YOU AIN"T RUNNING A LVL 1 IN MY ROOM SON! *keep i mind the PUG didn't say he would be running a lvl 1*

PUG: I don't have to take this $###. I'm in the top 10 on the leader board. *leaves*

Host now talking to himself: I don't give a f*** who you are. I don't play that $***.

This one was back in the good old FBWGG days

I was searching for an Silver Match ended in a FB White Geth Silver Lobby.

Match starts and the Host (Salarian Engineer) immediately goes down to the farming spot.

Host(the only one with a mic) Ok Guys you all have to come down to me and we hold this position than this will be easy when the objectiv waves come the Guy with the Infiltrator takes care of it and I keep them busy with my decoy.

After watching him a while sitting all alone behind the counter with his decoy placed und talking things like " Guys we have to stay together it can be dangerous out there" " If one of you goes down i will not come to save him"  i get bored and  left and sended him an PM that he maybe should do that on Gold because no one is farming Silver.

Got thrown into a match yesterday with two Americans with deep southern accents. (No offense intended to any Americans here) Competent players, but from their conversation I could gather they are new.

So I start rolling around with my Volus and before long a banshee sneaks up on me and sync kills me, like they always do.
This one guy immediately stops his boring conversation and goes: "Dude!! I've never seen that in my life! She just grabbed you! Holy $###!! That just happened right in front of me! I was right here when it happened"

When I first joined, I didn't know there was a weight mechanic, and I ended up running a Drell Adept with the Widow and Claymore... I quit the class because I thought the cooldowns were too long.

I do not play melee characters when playing with friends, because I suck at meleeing and most people on my friends list are good enough to obliterate everything before I get close enough to punch anything.
So I was pugging with my asari infiltrator to get those last points for the melee damage challenge. The lobby filled up and we got dropped on hazard glacier against the geth. By wave 3 i had three times the score of the second guy and at the end of wave 4 I was left last man standing. I start kiting stuff and picking off the enemy one by one (mostly meleeing for the challenge) when I hear a mellow baritone saying to me: "You shouldn't run around cause you'll mess up the spawns". There was literally one prime left at the time... I managed to not mess up the spawns and kill that last prime. Phew...

So, luckily, the others started picking up pace and my melee sucking finally came out properly, being eventually outscored (I'm sharing this so my enemies (yes,star fury, I do mean you! xoxoxo - oh, yeah, you are banned... MWHAHAHAHAHAAA) won't say I am bragging).
Where was I? Oh yeah... wave 10. Activate four objective.
The same mellow voice, now with a tint of slight agitation, rings out into the blueish twilight of hazard glacier: "We need to stay close... mmgmhmhmh".

I never found out what we were supposed to stay close to.

After searching last night I get into an in progress game and can hear the PUGs talking while Im on the load screen. Get FBW/R/G

P1 "Man I hope we get a 4th in here soon"
I spawn
P2 "Theres a 4th'
P1 'Whats he playin?"
P2 "Dont know give me a second"
P2 "Hes playing a Destroyer"
P1 "Is that any good?"

A couple nights ago, playing with 2 friends and wanting a 4th (U/U/G), a guy drops into our lobby. most of us have mics, he throws his on and proceeds to stream-of-consciousness ramble (to himself) on about everything from his kit to his loadout to factions, etc. We get collectors and he (as a krogan) continually declares "come at me bro" throughout the game, including running right up to a Scion. One brief re-enactment of the Hulk-Loki scene from Avengers later and he yells something to the effect of "Scions can kill you?? No way, that's never happened before".

I guess they came at him bro...

LOL this reminds me so much of a friend of mine, who used a kroguard with nothing specced in Biotic charge and did not use heavy melee. he just relied on barrier for toughness, carnage to knock things down and sniped things. Was v weird build to watch

Hosting some gold matches yesterday; ran a few games with the same pugs. Two were competent; but the other, playing a Phoenix Vanguard, was not. He went down at least once every wave, charging Banshees and such, got sync killed and bled out often. This put the other players in danger of going down while trying to revive him.

After the first game with him, I gave him a second chance. We all have off-games. During the second game he exhibited the same behavior, so afterwards in the lobby, I vote to kick.

He left the lobby after the second vote and then sent me a message.

Pug: "Go off yourself."
Me: "Don't get mad, just learn to play."
Pug: "I came in second both times. Your point is invalid."
Me: "First place in deaths too."

 I hate confrontations!
Earlier today I was hosting a Plat lobby with one of my friends and I had two slots to fill. 

I am not hardcore about monitoring which equipment people have etc but I do peruse everyone to make sure I'm not going to be playing with a missile glitcher or to see if they have Disrupter rounds for example when I'm playing an Adept. 

N745 joins- I can't even remember what class he is because he had 15 levels for Challenge points and a Shuriken 1. Yeah. 
And of course, Disrupter III rounds. But of course! 

I jumped out of party chat to game chat (this is on XBOX) and said to him :

Me: "Hey I just wanted to let you know the reason why you have the kicks on your name is because you seem to have a low level N7 and a level one Shuriken..which will take forever to kill an enemy on Platinum. Are you aware of this?"

N745: "Yeah I've played 50 Platinum games with this character and gun and I do it so I can use my powers more often that's why I bring this gun". 

Me: "Sooo what about your Disrupter rounds, did you notice we're playing Adepts?. And still, your Shuriken is ONLY LEVEL ONE it will take forever and why are your challenge points only at 15 if you've in fact extracted 50 times on Platinum? Eh ok have a nice day, nevermind". 

I abandoned the lobby, I was host, but the other PUG wasn't going to kick N745 guy so I just opened up another lobby. 

The thing is, I probably would have played with him if he had just equipped a better weapon. Most likely he had no better weapons since he was only an N745 anyway. 

Incidentally the other PUG guy was an N7 115 or something with an Avenger IV

LOL. I always wanted to ask U if U had problems with Your N7 rating. I remember that I usually received 1-2 kick votes in Gold lobbies, before I got a "save" N7>500 rating. All of this despite having a Harrier and lv 3-4 consumables.

i actually have the opposite problem. I grinded out too much of the challenges on bronze and silver so i have a stupidly high N7 and challenge point score. I went into a bronze lobby to try out the adas and blood pack weapons for v first time. Host and other guy are both N7 50-80. Host changes lobby to platinum 5sec after i arrive. 

I went into a gold lobby another day, the host and his friends on mic are all "Woah, look at his challenge points, man im glad we kicked the last dude out and this guy replaced him."

"Erm, you know that N7 and challenge points dont mean much right, i got a lot of it on easy matches?" 
"No way dude, we're going up to platinum now"
Me: quit lobby.
