That reminds me of a match where there was just enough background noise on some random pug to keep the mic open, and there was a bird chirping loudly in the background.

I did this once, played as a Salarian, I think it was on London on Gold, it was a lvl like 8. I stood in the middle of the map where there was no cover, constantly kept saying "I'm going to hold the line" and other bits of the monologue from ME1. I died so fast each and every wave, the pug that was in the room was not amused, my friends could barely breath they were laughing so hard.

Was N7 >1500. Was a nice lad though, a not too bad of a PUG.

Could have been the invisible enemies glitch. I played a match against Cerberus where Phantoms didn't show up on my screen at all,ever. They also never appeared in the killfeed. That didn't stop them from hurting me though. I'd be alone in a corner of the map and my shields would just go down from what appeared to be nothing. It annoyed the Hell out of me until I realized after the match I never saw a single Phantom.

Should've told the guy he has an Objective Wave happening In Real Life. And he's failing it. And also in serious jeopardy of a Wife Sync Kill.

I can actually relate to this one... The game seems to enjoy throwing me into Platinum games/lobbies when I queue for Gold. Like it's trying to tell me something.

Having heard this drivel so many times before I reiterate in a concise manner "Use or Leave".
Nothing happens.

I never have used equips on gold, I rarely use them on plat, I get better by not relying on anything. That's why my Drell assassin with only the perma gear rarely drops even on plat. Having good equips doesn't really increase my score either way so yeah. Maybe he didn't actually need it, you never bothered to give him a chance. Being a level 12 makes his statement a little shotty but who knows maybe he really could have pulled it off.

****ty guns (still have rather ****ty guns), but in order to buy better
**** you need moniez, to get lots of moniez you need to do gold (now
plat), and yeah. Thanks to that I got a lot of my characters and
significantly more experience in 'how not to **** up for dummies' on
gold, now I plat and yeah not the best but I survive, I'm a good clutch
player.

with a couple (guy and girl). The lady saw me do a heavy malee on a
phantom and got a kick out of how the phantom melted. She goes to her
guy friend "Holy s*it, did you see that?" at which I turned to the
nearest enemy and maleed that one as well. The girl comes back on
and in the cutest voice and says "Do it agian, do it agian." like a kid
would. So I found another enemy and did it again and she says "That is
sooo coooool."

Lol the first few times I played with Juggies I was the same way, still love watching them do that.

I guess I should share this time too lol. I was playing a Vancouver (trying to get banners) on gold Vs collectors as a Drellass, Had a friend and 2 pugs, neither pug was good, one of the pugs was a volus. He kept running to the other side of any cover I was in and stand there so I couldn't jump over (not on purpose I assume, just not paying attention to where anyone is) and never bothered to heal shield until the very start of a wave (immediately after you get it back...). He was talking about how much I sucked (I always get bad score, but  rarely go down), I started heavy meleeing abominations, again he wasn't paying attention and kept running smack into my flying bodies range, all the abominations I hit blew up on him. He was stringing together so many cuss words and calling me a scrub. It was pretty funny, started doing it on purpose. I'm a ass.

Nope, this was on PC, and boy was it irritaing.

I think PC mic volume levels tend to be wildly different when compared to consoles, and I think this guy had his mic volume  turned up pretty loud.

To a certain extent yes, it's ok. But when you have an avenger level one and you use NO equipment at all you have no right to play on gold. I don't mind carrying people a little but i don't want to spend the entire game babysitting someone. After work I just want to squeeze in a couple games to relax and have fun. I don't want to have to constantly moniter someone and make sure they're doing ok. Like just yesterday for example i saw a guy with an N7 ranking of 12 playing gold....12!!!! And his challenge points were less then a hundred and his equipment matched that. I'm sorry, but i find that to be the most annoying thing ever.

Played with some young green pugs last night. Green to the point they screeam when a Banshee appears and cheer with pure joy when one is killed. I end up soloing Wave 9 with a Banshee following me around Glacier while I kill any leftovers before dealing with her. Down to just the Banshee, I decide to mess with the younguns and lead her to a ramp and melee her to death. They start yelling for me to get out of there and "what are you doing? We need these credits" After killing her one pug says "Oh I get it. If you keep moving around her, she cant grab you. Sweet." So with predictable results, all three get grabbed and killed early on in Wave 10.   I got them their credits

I ignore anyone who isn't at least a 120, I expect a vertrain player, a worth while player to have at least a N7 of 120 because I expect them to try all the classes and max them. I don't care about if they revert them back to 1 ever. a N7 12 would get an immediate kick, and no shame would be felt.
If you're on xbox I wouldn't mind playing with you, I'll readily admit I get **** for score, I'm usually 4th, sometimes 3, unless there's a complete **** team and I can get to 2nd, I've only once been the best, which was tragic to me. But I'm a great clutcher, and a superb reviver (I pretty much only play Drellass)

I run around her all the time, though it's with a drellass and I don't melee I use mines over and over, it's amusing.

Pre-game lobby. Platinum:

Pug 1 (he was using a SI with Mantis X): "Why are you using the Adas on the Destroyer?"

Me: "Cause it works."

Pug 2 (using VolEngy with Phaeston VI): "You should use Phasic rounds cause that gun sucks against shields."

Me: "Do you even have the Adas?"

Pug 2: "No..."

Me: "Then how do you know it sucks against shields?"

Pug 2 (talking about Pug 1): "He told me."

Me: * facepalm * "You mean the guy who's using the Mantis X on platinum?"

Pug 1: "Shut up. At least I know how to play."

Me: "We'll see."

We get through the match and extract. I only got dropped once or twice while Pugs 1 & 2 got dropped three or four times a wave. Being a good sport, I tried to revive them whenever they got downed. I had the highest score with the third Pug (Jugg with Typhoon I and Hurricane III) scored second.

Pug 1: (after seeing my score) "Hacker!!"

Me: "I can't help it if I'm better than you."

Pug 3: "I want the Adas now."

Me and Pug 3 voted to kick Pug 1 for bad sportsmanship. He rage-quited and we waited for a new Pug.

Got dropped into a lobby with 3 guys that must have been friends, calling each other by their first names and whatnot...funny guys, good games, I stayed for a couple of matches.

In the last match one of the guys is melting things with his Reeger and then declares that he "Loves weapons that turn the enemies into sloppy piles of glowing Daquari"

I know this has been gone for a bit but I got a good one last night.

While puggin I was usually doing my normal thing until I met this very obnoxious player who thought he can tell me what to do just because he had BOTB. So we I started to rambo and ignore his voice we were able to get the job done in a decent amount of time. After the game he started complaining about that I outcomes him because I was using a UR which was only a Parading. I the end I just decided to troll him and put on a avenger and made him rage quit after the game was finished.
Now I have a avenger on most of my casters :3
