Explosive Rounds have a certain flavor appeal on guns like the Kishock and Graal. Maybe not the most effective, yes, but the mental image of skewering people with rods of metal that then explode? Kinda satisfying

Seriously, is there any character at all that anyone can give me a good reason as to why they are NOT gold-viable? I really cannot understand people claiming this, and I do hear it around PuGs from time-to-time.

The other day, I jumped into a gold lobby with a Talon merc and a Dragoon Vanguard.

Pug 1 (Talon merc): He's missing a piece of armor on his arm. That's his weak spot.

Pug 2 (Dragoon Vanguard): Really?

Pug 1: Yeah. He's also missing a big chunk of his helmet. You can see his hair.

Pug 2: Ha! I wonder if you can change the hair color with the skin tone!

Me: You know it doesn't work like that, right?

No answer.

This one guy was our second wave announcer. In case we missed the "Wave [X]" message, we could always count on the message "[Pug1] is down" coming up a few seconds later, thus alerting us that the wave has started.

Haha well at least the dude had the balls to admit it. Carrying people who are new to Gold is one of the few exciting things left in the game for me.
