PUG1: what is the reason to ever use Particle Rifle when we have a lancer?
PUG2: I don't know, maybe variety. (to me) but seriously dude, you better switch to lancer if you have it, that weapon is so much better in every instance (I was with my PPPR-TSent).

And the second one:
Turian soldier with Talon? Lol, you shoud use a heavy weapon on him.

Sadly, those where the only talking pugs I've bumped into during last month.

I've had a few people say stuff like that to me because they thought I was a young male child instead of a middle aged chick.  It tickled me.

This is slightly less MP related than a general complain about Xbox parties but we had our four we were doing fine and some chick jumps on and demands everyone drops everything to join a GTAV game. She proceeded to swear and threaten people in the part until one member told her where to put her demands.

Later she rejoined and yelled at the people in the party not playing GTAV to "shut up because no one cares" despite them clearly playing a game of MP.

Eye hart peaesstree.

She was a sort of PuG. 

Last PuG I had that said anything exclaimed extreme surprise at finding a fellow Aussie and promptly disconnected.

PUG: Yes, you idiot, you're playing a Human Adept. I'm telling you we're not reviving you when you get downed, so plan on being out of medi-gel by the 2nd round.
Me: I'll try to make it past wave....since they're waves....wave 2.
PUG: Whatever, waves, rounds, you're just leeching credits noob. *in high pitched voice* AND you're using a PISTOL!
Me: I'm using an Arc Pistol
PUG: Yeah, keyword, PISTOL. You suck.

Game starts, other comments are made, etc., etc., end of game, we all extract

PUG: Guess we all know who's @ the bottom of the scoreboard

Scoreboard comes up, my terrible, awful, noobish Human Adept has outscored everyone by 65k points.

PUG: ....obviously you're a hacker, nobody scores that well using a human anything *leaves match*

I'm not a powerhouse by any stretch, but I enjoyed that immensely. Singularity + Shockwave ftmfw

I set up a new kit, and as usual took him to bronze first to get acquainted with everything. There was a kid there who I take to be 7-8 years old, with his mike turned way up. It was a constant "pow" "pew" "take that" "blew that sucker up". Thing is, he was reasonably competent as a salarian/widow, and a decent team player. The little sh!t.

I was pugging with a friend. Low N7 rushes in and instantly hits "ready", as they always do. He's a Shadow and obviously found a BPP today. Anyway, he carries a Punisher 1 and some level-2-gear.

Me: Don't you want to get some equipment for a gold match?
PUG: This is a melee-build, therefore i don't need equipment.

We got Reaper/White and he scored 39something.

Things Pugs Say? I got a couple great examples...

1)
Low N7 ( around 10 or something) with probably a couple of games under his belt, just unlocked the N7 Shadow with his first Spectre Pack whilst in my lobby. He was actually a PUG on PC that communicated. Now, I remember those days when I got excited about unlocking new characters, and he was definetly excited about unlocking the Shadow.

I then told him how to make his Shadow look like a Phantom. He goes, "Wow, so basically she is a Phantom now. How do I excecute her insta-kill move, KobeBean?" The way he sounded and the fact he was new to the game, led me to believe he was serious. I just replied, "I wish we had such an ability. You know, so you could impale a Banshee and return the favor for once. The closest you can get, buddy, is pulling out a Cobra Missile and blasting the first enemy you see." To my surprise, he did fairly well with the Shadow in that game and he did nuke a Banshee, haha. It's just the way he asked me about how to execute the insta-kill that made me smile.

2)
In another lobby of mine, we had three guys (including me) ready to go for a Platinum match, when PUG number four jumps in with a Destroyer equipped with a Striker. He goes, "Guys, I just heard about it and I am all set to do the missile glitch. Now, can someone tell me how to active the glitch?"

Given that I really don't like missile glitchers in my lobby, but I was in very easy-going mood, I decided not to directly vote to kick him but play with him a little bit. One of the other pugs did vote to kick right away, however. This happened sometime last month and he obviously had never done the glitch before. So I go, "Dude, I am afraid you're a little late to the party. They patched that glitch awhile ago." He goes, "Nooo, how am I going to max my manifest now?" I go, "By doing a lot of speedruns."

Obviously defeated by my shocking revelation, he leaves the lobby and we get on with our Platinum game versus Reapers. For the record, I have no knowledge on where things stand with the missile glitch. I don't know if that's still in the game, nor do I really care. I just bluffed him a bit, since he asked us how to do the glitch and I really loved his reaction.

3)
I got into a Platinum lobby (Giant Hazard/ Reapers) with my favorite character, the Drell Assassin (equipped with the Black Widow), and then I had this conversation....

PUG: "Dude, this is Platinum. You will eat dirt all game long with such a squishy character."
ME: "Man, I can handle my stuff on Platinum with him. Especially on this map with my set-up."

For the record, I used the Geth scanner and Armor Piercing Rounds IV so I could shoot through walls. So, I basically had large amounts of cover between me and the enemy most of the time. Add to that, I slapped on a Power Amp IV to augment my Recon Mine and I could stagger and kill a lot of the enemies before they could even shoot me. And I just know how to use the guy. In fact, I saved a few teammates from insta-kills by detonating the Recon Mine in time, including this dude that called me liability in the lobby. Good times!

About a week or 2 back I was running some U/U/G and started to hear people talking mid match. Don't remember what I played the first match, but I was wrecking pretty much everything. Got to the lobby and the 2 people were talking about how bad the Indra was, that it was basically a useless gun. So I slapped on my Geth Engineer with the Indra and went to work. They didn't even notice what I was using until around wave 4 or so and were shocked I was killing things so quickly with it. One of them said I was the Geth Infiltrator which makes every weapon good, but I had to unmute my mic finally and correct him that I was the Engineer.

Hopefully I changed their mind(s) on the Indra, but they were both rather new players and I doubt they understood how wrong the were. (Indra is one of my least favorite URs btw, but it is far from a bad gun)

This was priceless. Maybe biggest biotic boom after all was in the scoreboard.
