Oh look, this thread's back. I actually have something to contribute this time.

Joined a game a while back that was preset to Cerberus giant, with a juggernaut hosting along with paladin and a slayer. I was either a drell adept or assassin, I forget but know I was grinding waves.

Things didn't look promising, and I was about to back out when I get a kick vote. As the others had readied up, it was obvious this was the paladin that had some mystery issue with me. That was enough to persuade me to stay.

During the loading screen, the paladin (who from here I'll call venom. He wasn't using one, I just feel like calling him that) sent me a message saying something like:

"Your connection will slow us in the USA down, LEAVE!!"

The game goes on. Juggy is actually decent. Slayer isn't and dies constantly, but tends to be nearby so I keep reviving him. Venom does a bit of damage, but seems to like hanging around near the ammo crate. And he wouldn't gel. Occasionally one of us could reach him, otherwise he'd bleed out. After one such death, he took the time to tell me:

"THIS is what happens when euro trash joins American lobbies"

Charming. I guess not everyone necessarily knows how the Mass effect hosting works, but that second message just took the biscuit.

Just thought it was kind of hilarious since the micless people in the game followed him and not me, thus ruining the point. I didn't quite make it to our second extraction, though (got stuck on a wall like an idiot). SO I guess the joke's on me?

Was playing with a couple friends the other night, and a pug with > 1000 CP joins and readies with no equipment. 

 

I say "looking kinda light weight there, buddy." 

 

He says "who, me?"

 

I said "yeah"

 

"I beat platinum all the time without equipment, this is nothing new"

 

"Oh yeah? well then we can just depend on you to carry us then, right?"

 

"Yeah, I've beat platinum a bunch of times"

 

"your gamertag is '__________' right? ok.....*looks up on N7HQ* but before I read the results....

 

he says "I'm just gonna warn you now, I may go down a lot...." I read the results, and then...

So i'm guessing this is more or less on xBox? I've never heard stuff like that on PC, mostly, people don't even speak on PC pugs.

Most likely, we hear a lot of stuff on Xbox.... I usually play with RogueState, we are friends IRL and we talk on Skype because talking on mic or kinect is awful, can cause terrible sound issues. 

But sometimes people have theirs on and we can hear them.
 

Some guy was running around glory hounding, demanding to be revived when he died, didn't revive anyone when they died, b*ggered off during objectives to kill things... shadowed us until things were almost dead then shot them. Then told RS to stop stalking him (he really wasn't) he was just awful... then at the end said in a sneering did ''Urrr did you guys kill anything??? *snorts*'' 

He.... was not a nice young man! Horrible and offensive all the way through... but in all the time we've been playing I'll be honest he's been the only one who stood out as an all round *sshole! Mostly people say funny stuff, swear when they run into a banshee and often shout useful stuff like ''PHANTOM BEHIND YOUUUUU'' And at least one guy was so funny that I sent him a FR  

What's really funny is when you hear gfs, mums etc talking in the background and saying just regular stuff about dinner or rubbish being taken out, lol

The PC race is the silent one, so I don't get to hear many people. Sometimes they do though, when I am the one to talk first. I am the kind that will make sure that everyone is ready before commencing the countdown. I check how much more time they need or whatever. So, there was that one guy that looked a lot like a newbie. He had a Turian Havoc and he didn't seem to be ready, so I asked him if he needed more time. He explained that it was a new character and wanted to take him for a spin. I could work with that, no problem, he was polite too and he seemed giddy, so yeah. In the end we went in the match.

 

I was rolling Krolord, because I was doing his waves for Blood Pack. The match starts, I keep an eye on the Havoc, to make sure he'll suffice and test everything. Of course, I wouldn't hold back my killing, so I did what Krolords do: I commenced hammer time. I had charged for Biotic and slammed it, taking out one, maybe two Collector Troopers. Suddenly, I hear the Havoc. He reactivated his mic just to say "Holy shiet!" I was in stitches after that, so I took a moment to breathe before I asked him whether he had seen a Krolord before. He was an amusing guy. I just wish that lolrigin wouldn't be a douchecanoe that day. It disconnected everyone on Wave 8. If I find him again, I should add him to my friendlist.

Guess how that turned out for him We played Plat versus Reapers on Vancouver, so the Banshees had him voor lunch.

Searching U/U/G, jump in a lobby with 3 N7 <500, Challenge < 1000, I get in, N7 > 1300 Challenge >10,000. 

 

I join with a level 15 Human Soldier, running a maxed Concussive Shot and Passive build, Locust X with Incendiary Ammo II, Power Magnifier II, and Omni-Capacitor V, 

 

"A Human Soldier cant do good in gold! You need a juggernaut or Krogan Warlord!" End up doubling second places score,

He was one of those people I was talking about on the jugg melee thread who shadow juggs to kill on the last bar. He wanted the team to do everything for him. I swear he sees people like NPCs

He was no princess. Precious? Most definitely, but no princess, haha!

 

He really was a kill stealing little douche, I don't mind "Kill helping" but there's a big difference between helping and blatantly shadowing you the whole match to take the kill, not cool, not cool at all 

 

But back OT, what else ave we heard? I think things like "Banssshhhhhheeeeeeeeeee" and "Dude there's a turret behind you" are pretty regular things, and helpful things at that.
