Also, I wish I was the fly on the wall (ei the pug) when me and 2 friends were playing. One of us had a mic, but me and the other did not, so we all turned on Skype to chat. But the one guy needed the mic on because he didn't set up his surround sound yet (just moved).

So basically, when me and the other guy would talk, it could be heard over the mic because of his skype was loud enough. So the pug could hear our entire conversation through a single person's mic, and things kept overlapping.

I can't believe that pug stayed the whole match - especially when we started making stupid noises. Our nickname for him was Cannon Fodder.

I can't remember any specifics, but some people say some really stupid things to their buddies as they level up their characters. Things about powers and stuff... and their buddy chimes in with totally awful advice "yeah, i think i'ma try that"

Me: /facepalm

"yea, yea, I always take recharge speed on incinerate"

"Dude, the TGI is terrible"

"You should always put 6 in fitness, especially on a Vorcha"

"Adrenaline mod is so useless"

"Phasic rounds suck"

I was playing my FQI + Krysae the other day. After a really smooth match, the hosts tells me, "A little less spam please." I had no idea that some people found Krysae shots annoying. It doesn't shake the screen, so I'm not sure what he meant.

Also, the Krysae is awesome

Joined a platinum GiP with geth eng. and a juggy, who was drunk and shouting all the time. After I revived him for the 3rd or 4th time within 2minutes, he screams "damn it! Stop reviving me!"
I should go.

I don't mind reviving often if need be. That guy was screaming in the mic every 20sec and... complaining about being revived was the last drop. Annoying couple of waves.

Colorful, with words such as "bitches" getting thrown around. Also, giving hints and tips about how to play in Platinum games where in the game that I joined the first thing I see after I spawned in is three skulls... in a Silver/London/Cerberus game......................................... Regardless, pleasant enough folks, and I am constantly entertained by their chatter.

The last one was also colorful, screaming "****" and "****" all the time, screaming how "this silver game feels like a gold game" in HazardGlacier/Cerberus. I admit the flying electric cloud of death (that I named Bob) was mightily annoying though, how it just casually strolled around the LZ on the final seconds of wave 11, hahahaha.

I got hatemail from a PUG who was butthurt because I left his lobby twice. I don't understand why someone would get upset over that, but it made me laugh. :D

Normally, the pugs stay very silent on PC, but this week I encountered two quite talkative pugs who were first discussing some builds and then:

*PUG 1 was taken down by Ravager*- several times, taken down by different enemies, he was playing an Asari Adept

PUG 2: "You should stop watching her a**.... and kill stuff."

Not something a pug said, but last night I had a host quit on wave ten after objectives were done. I was clutching it and kiting around Praetorians and Scions on Ghost. I had it down to two enemies and the host left. I didn't stick around. I feel bad for the other two pugs, but my back was tired.

Boy gamers. :)

Reminds me of a PUG lobby some time ago where two players, friends I guess, were discussing their kits' anatomical details, boobs and butts and which had the nicest setup. I had a pretty good idea how that game would have gone so I left. :P

You know those games that you have that ****** you off like crazy, because you can't believe what's going on? I had a game like that.

I joined a game in progress, and to my surprise I was completely surrounded by mauraders and brutes. I kept getting elbowed and ****** slapped by the brutes, and i wasted a couple op packs and med gels trying to escape. Then i start to hit my stride, everything is starting to go very smoothly. Then the other guy(that i later learned is a GI) goes down. Once is no big deal, it happens, so i run over and revive him. But after that revive things go to hell. I swear the guy was going out of his way to die. I was dragging us through a couple waves, until thankfully two more pugs join us.

Then the GI turned his mic on, and i hear him talking to a group of people(not in the game, in the room with him) he's giving them advice about the game. Crappy advice too, like the kind of advice you want to face palm for. Priceless gems like "You don't get credits if you complete the objectives, only if you complete the wave. So if you dont think you can complete the wave don't do the objective." and "All Krogan's have health regeneration" and my favorite "The Geth Infiltrator sucks." This isn't all of his wisdom, just my favorite three. Throughout the ENTIRE game he's saying stuff like this.

So now, while me and the two others pugs(that are actually doing extremely well) are carrying this guy he's giving advice to these guys. We get a little further int the game, and now he turns his vast wisdom towards his fellow players. Calling us stupid, demanding we missile even though he doesnt use any of his own, saying that we should stop running and kill stuff because the faster we finish the game the more credits we get. One guy goes down, ONCE, throughout the entire game so far, and the GI says he wont revive him because he was careless and that's why he went down. I run over and shoot a missile at the cannibals, banshee, and brute over his body and revive him. Then the GI chews ME out, saying i wasted a missile. And i was going to regret it when we got further into the game. The guy i just revived pulls out his missile launcher, and shoots all six at the GI. The GI goes into a rage, and pulls out his missile launcher and shoots all his missiles at the guy i just revived. Then he says to the people in the room with him "I only did that to make a point. They'll see how hard this game is without missiles, and they'll remember my words in the future. And save them until only absolutely necessary."

I should probably add, that up until this point the GI has bled out every wave. He didn't use any gel. One guy goes down at wave 9, and because the wave is almost over he doesn't gel, he just bleeds out. We obviously have it under control, and i would've done the same thing. The GI calls him selfish, and that he should gel for the sake of the team. And if he didn't have any gels he shouldn't be playing gold. Then he tells his friends that it's ok for himself not to gel, because he's saving them for extraction.

We finally get through the game, wave 11 complete, once again he bled out. And the score was:

Me: 120,000

Pug: 90,000 ish

Pug: 90,000 ish

GI: 32,000

We get back to the lobby, this guy has a SUPER high n7 and challenge point ranking. Geth Shotgun X, GI level 20.

I left, and ignored him immediately. Worst....pug...ever.

I have a "protocol" when I join games in progress; before firing I check that I'm in the correct difficulty, what players I'm with(There are a few I know enough by name to not bother with), and then I look at any players close to me. If they're running around in sporadic laggy jumps I'll ditch as it's a pretty good indicator of a shite host.

If and only if everything checks out will I start running around and firing. To be fair I shop my lobbies and don't mind waiting for a good one. (Yay alt-tab)

I've encountered too many of these to ever trust a game-in-progress anymore.

Haha, pretty brave player. How 'bout letting this badass clutch a few waves on Dagger Hazard versus Platinum (!) Geth? That'll teach 'm.

Just looking at that picture was painful, and yeah i'm pretty picky about my lobbies too. No consumables usually is a guarantee for me to leave. And i usually don't stay when i join mid game, unless i know a player from here or they're by themselves. I hate soloing with a passion, so i have a hard time leaving people to solo.

(A tale of tales.)

That is the prime example of one of the few types of situations wherein I will fish out my headset, switch it on, and proceed to simply laugh. Though sometimes I'll admit that I get lazy and cue up a sitcom laugh-track instead.

You should have removed any equipment and readied up

I would have just left, this also the reason why I never equip consumables until I'm in a lobby. There was one game I joined in progress where the other 3 players had died during a hack (3 skulls) and I had Banshees, etc wailing on me before I was even in the game

I hate games like that as well. Like i said, I only stayed because he was by himself. I felt bad about just leaving him because i know much soloing sucks. But of course i didn't know what a massive d-bag he was when i first joined either.
