You should have removed any equipment and readied up
Heh, I've done that before.
this also the reason why I never equip consumables until I'm in a lobby.
I used to do that but I started equipping before I search since if I do bother staying in a game I usually want to play with equipment.
So long as you don't fire a shot you won't lose any by leaving. (Although you'll have to re-equip it.)
Played a game about a week ago Hydra/Reapers/Gold, there were two friends that did nothing but ****** and moan about me & another player.
They complained about us "running off" before wave 1 even started, that they kept dying and "lag". They complained about "lag" a lot.
One of them ignored the wave 3 hack, so his friend went to help him, both went down and "didn't have medi-gel". 
During the time I played with them it was hilarious listening to their BS and raging, they died and bled out or were sync-killed constantly, and then on wave 8 one of them said that he'd "had enough of this game's BS" and was leaving, but not before complaining "lag lag lag lag lag" into his mic. 
Next thing I know 'The host has left' 
.
Once both of the friends were gone, me and the other player finished the game without issue, 2 players joined during extraction.
Glacier/Colls/Gold I was playing with my Typhoon QFI and on wave 2 a Slayer dude turned his mic on an said:
"STOP STEALING MY KILLS , IT'S ANNOYING !!!".
I always love when pugs bring a big smile on my face.
What does the PUGs say? "Help me! Help me! Help me! Help me! Help me! Help me! Help me!"
You know those games that you have that ****** you off like crazy, because you can't believe what's going on? I had a game like that.

Well, last night I had someone yelling in the mic "Get the hell away from me, Mako!" I wasn't even standing close to him. I was almost on a different quadrant of the damn map. Then he was mumbling incoherently. I muted him. Evil was with me when that happened. But seriously, what the hell was his problem? Other than that he was playing badly, but that's okay, I wasn't at my best in that match either. Dagger Hazard is the bane of my existence.
"Don't worry guy's I'll just absorb all the DPS with my Juggernaut."

I got invited to a plat game, I only knew the host. One of his friends had a sniper rifle amp 3 on when using a shotgun. I told him, thinking he hadn't noticed, he said he needed to get rid of it anyway. Dumbest thing I ever heard.
Played a silver game way back in the day, there was some arrogant Frenchie telling everyone they were crap and this was the worst team ever. Swearing in French every time he went down. He finished last. He got the fastest kick ever as soon as we got back into the lobby. Stupid Frenchie.
Was in a game with a Canadian guy who made the mistake of once answering the guy who barely spoke English, then got stuck trying to decipher what the guy was saying for the next 20 mins.

That's an understandable mistake actually.
You can stagger a banshee by hitting a damage threshold as we all know, and something like a javelin to the face will cause a lot of damage in a hurry.
I've prevented sync kills before that way, perhaps the pug had seen something like that and they'd just misunderstood how it works.
"Well done, sir" - After I clutched a wave for some Pugs yesterday. The next wave, we got more of the same "effort" by the Pugs, sadly. And I had to do it again and again.

I think a lot of Vanguards seem to think that Biotic Charge can stagger a Banshee when teleporting, only to get a quick hug instead.

On pc, people just don't speak. Like ever. The last pug I was in, all 3 squad mates had mics, nobody said ****.
Did bump into a couple guys talking on the mic on PS3 yesterday. But, they had no business in Gold. We got Condor/Geth and they were talking about which place would be better for camping, the top of the hill or the "duckblind." Wave 7 wipe. Ugh.

The only thing I understood was "Merci", two games with a pair of I guess a father and his kid, all the way speaking French.
Also entered a lobby looking for a Bronze match greeted by "Oh hi Banana, the *last guy's name* is trying to glitch for easy credits" and it's immediately switched to Platinum so I just bailed.
Same here, first and only glitcher I saw was in Silver. Having said that, I think it was because I knew what to look out for in a gold/platinum lobby to avoid games with glitchers in them. Wasn't so diligent for Silver. At least they started glitching on wave 1 so I could quit asap.
150 hours here and nearly 500 matches played (PC). I witnessed exactly 0 missile glitchers.

You could say it's the easiest platform to hack on....unless I'm terribly wrong :/
