I did a game before work today, and I ran into a complete dbag. There was a Warlord(the dbag), a krogan vanguard, and a demolisher on Reaper/Giant/Gold. I was a SI. Anyway, almost immediately he starts tearing into the kroguard for "wasting" a biotic charge on a husk. Then he biotic charges a brute, and the Warlord calls him an idiot and says he has no idea how to play. The Warlord gets grabbed and pleading for someone to help him so I tact cloak and headshot the banshee and it drops him(woot). But he tears into the vanguard for not charging the banshee and says "what's the point of being a vanguard if you're not gonna use your charge to help your allies?" Then a little later he gets grabbed again, and the kroguard runs to help him but cant get to him in time. Then he tears into him for being too slow. Then he says that vanguards are stupid and there is no point to playing as one. The next wave we get swarmed and the kroguard and I run away. Because I'm doing pretty well the Warlord doesn't say anything to me, but he tears into the kroguard for "abandoning him." The next wave the Warlord gets grabbed, I missle him and save him. 5 seconds later he gets grabbed again, this time I can't save him in time. He doesn't say anything to me. The demolished gets stomped, and the kroguard sticks to me like glue. But he doesn't do much. He keeps running from the enemies, and the krolord then tears into him for being a "cowardly ******." i mean, damn...some people are such assholes.

man, you are too nice. If someone thinks he can be mean towards the others while getting himself sync-killed several times, I would abandon him. If said PUG is that good, he can solo. He could ask for help, and apologize for his own mistakes.

Joined a U/U/Gold Lobby the other day.  While I was at the loading screen, The first thing I hear was some guy talking about a previous game where they all went across the map and hid in a storage container.  He (Juggernaut) said he just meeled the whole time and it was awesome, but it only works if you have two Volus classes with you to restore shields.  99% sure he was talking about the Box of Shame in Rio, but can't be sure.

 

And he kept talking during the entire game, telling us where the enemies where (ended up being Hazard Glacier/Geth/Gold).  It got so annoying that another player kept cussing and telling him to shut up.

"Why don't you take recharge on Siege Pulse?"

"I only fire mine in emergencies."

A couple of platinum pugs late last night with americans, unlike european players on PC they actually use their mics, some great moments when one of them was singing about using his medigel when none came to revive him

Puging can be a lot of fun when you get lobbies with competent and mature players, and sometimes it makes you consider stop playing. Not referring to playing with people that can't quite handle the gold and platinum challenges, but the people that put vote kicks for no apparent reason at all etc

Long time since I enjoyed a silver game this much, played with two players that obviously were quite new to the game,

 

"Man I'm switching to shotguns after this, hand guns suck" - After the game ended in the lobby "Dude what the hell, I have no shotguns in my inventory"

 

"Don't worry man, I have that gun that makes them bleed, one shot and that's it, they are done" (He ended with 4k)

 

"Man I wanted to have an assault rifle, this sniper rifle sucks" (He was using the Saber).

 

"Sorry man, I just shot you"

This poor Warlord couldn't stay on his feet. About halfway through, I walked over to him between rounds, put down my hex shield right in front of him, and said here, you need this way more than I do.

Started playing ME3 again after being away for a while,  forgot how much fun mp was. I'm almost always wearing a mike,  but usually muted. 

 

Anyway,  Xbox,  U/U/S and some chatty player was talking about being a big fan of the franchise... 

 

'I've got everything for the game,  I've even got a couple of ship replicas and a cool N7 hoody.  Sometimes when I'm wearing it in the cafeteria I'll say 'I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favourite food on The Citadel.' Yeah,  I quit because I got bored with the game.  It was too easy."

 

Later on,  during wave 7 after he got jolly stomped... 

 

"How is he (me again)  playing a Collector? "

Lol yup, havent played for a while so decided to take my Claymore Volus out for a spin. The guy who said this was a TGI Harrier who proceeded to missile on waves 10 & 11...His reasoning was that it would be embarrasing to be outscored by a volus, so yeah I think he was a little too concerned about his score

Normally there's the argument "there's no such thing as kill-stealing" ... but even I was getting a little irked with this Destoyer/Saber the other day who insisted on headshotting everything I'd Falcon > SubNetted before I could hit it with Incinerate. I ended up staying as far away from him as possible since he was trashing my bloodlust, my tech-bursts and just generally making life trickier for my poor little Vorcha Hunter.

 

 

... still, on the plus-side, that meant I got to hear him die on the other side of the map ... repeatedly.

 

That's about as close to talking as you generally get in PC PuGs.

I was on ps3 using a geth engineer with a striker iii for its challenge. Don't think I can hack even if I wanted to.

After the match he said, "I don't know what just happened there was fire and explosions everywhere." Gave me a chuckle.
