Said of my Vorcha Soldier, by one Jugg to the other Jugg, as they blocked yet another doorway behind me so I could be blocked from dodging yet another Ravager salvo and go down yet again.

 

And then, when I managed to stay on my feet long enough to kill something to stay alive, there was: "This guy's stealing my kills. Don't revive him next time he goes down."

I spent a few minutes watching a guy stream on twitch.  He was terrible and had no business in gold, but 1 of his 2 friends was pretty good so they were trying to get thru some gold games together.  Some random drops into the fourth slot in the lobby, and the friend (the one who is good enough that I expected him to know better) says, "This guy again.  Kick him."  The streamer doesn't remember why, so the friend explains, "He's the guy who just sat on the other side of the map for the whole extraction wave while we tried to hold down the LZ.  Kick him."  Sure enough: 1, 2, 3 kick votes appear, and the guy's gone.

Addendum to this: I was in a match today with the player who got kicked.  Perfectly fine teammate.  Would be happy to play with again.

London Cerberus Gold today. My Vorcha Soldier is in cover with an Atlas coming towards him. Suddenly, the DoT kills a couple engineers that I had flamed a moment before. In close sequence, Vorcha springs up, screams "Aaaaaaarrr", takes Atlas rocket to face, goes down. I lol'd.

Played a few games with a few very talkative PUG's... A few amusing comments like "oh man, I really want to use the Claymore now" (apparently after spectating me playing Claymore Huntress), but then in the lobby the one guy goes off on a rant about how Mannheim Steamroller is "so beautiful" and how Christmas music is "so beautiful", unlike "music these days" like "rap and that kind of crap", with some astute observations like the fact that they didn't have synthesizers and whatnot "back in the day" and that bagpipe music "may be the best" (kind of music). The best part- as far as I could tell, this guy was no older than 16 or 17.

BTW, when I play with LonerEnforcer and JRandall and RustyBuckets, we have learned to do a mutual check: "Have you all turned on Fortification/TechArmor/Bloodlust/Barrier/etc." I wonder if you can guess how that custom started?

Land in a Gold lobby with two pugs already there and they're chatting away (one with a real strong southern american drawl) but I'm only half listening because I'm trying to decide what kit to use.

 

Anyway, I notice one is the Destroyer so I check his gear (you can never be too careful with Destroyers. Right?), he's just using an Acolyte (no gear) which I think is strange and then I hear "I wish I had the Adas, because it's easier to do the glitch with it. But I can do it with the Acolyte..."

I've only come across a few, but had a really funny moment with one a couple of months back - this pug sends me a friend request and because I'm an ol' softie I add him. Anyway the next day he sends me a text saying he "found a way to farm Platinum for easy credits".

 

I sent back "do you mean the missile glitch?" and even though I knew BW had stopped caring about such things I added (for lulz) "you better be careful they're really cracking down on that".

 

I didn't get any other replies and it took me a couple of days to realise he'd deleted himself from my friends list. lol

 

 

*shrug* As I read somewhere "no great loss!"

Played a few Platinum matches in a row with the same pugs. Two of them are friends and are chatting the whole time. One of the matches was against Cerberus. After the match, I typed "cerberus = bullshit", and one of them said "Cerberus is okay." No, pug, you are wrong. Cerberus is not okay.
