Guy knew he was making the hack go slower but stayed out because otherwise he'd "be going down all the time", not that he didn't go down five times per round anyway. Next game he wasn't using any damn gear at all, and he bailed his own game on round two. Lesson learned, never play with hosts who don't equip anything.

I wasnt trolling, I was expressing a valid opinion: worry that people here would have some kind of despise against people who dont have enough knowledge YET due to age or experience and prejudgmental to people. As if pugs were to you what jewish were to nazis, or occidentals to yihadists extremists... But as I read some explanations I come to realized that I was wrong about that worry

Havent played too often with people with mics, and the few times I have, mostly I was wishing for a mute button one of those guys was practically narrating the game and telling us what teammate fell and where, and where were devices and objects... Annoying. And that girl with the squeaky anime voice :S was ear drilling.

"If they dont have enough knowledge YET due to age or experience", then they should avoid gold/platinum until they get it. I don't go to bronze & silver and then say that pugs there suck.

 

If a random plays on gold/platinum, people are going to have expectations and standards of skill required to play on higher difficulties. If a random plays platinum, then use lvl 3 & 4 consumables and do NOT bring low level chars. It's polite to use consumables too on gold, if you see other players in the lobby using them.

 

ME3 MP co-op nature provides conditions that even one bad player can ruin the match for other three players, causing them to waste their time. I work and usually have time to play on weekends only, so if somebody spoils a game and wastes my time, better be ready for a kick. You can play how you want, and people can kick you if they want on higher difficulties.

 

 

I wouldn't kick this player on silver but you get the idea.

I was in a game where no one spoke at all. Except once. My Shadow suffered during a lag spike and ended up Shadow Striking into a part of the map I wasn't even looking at, where I was taken down by a Marauder. A squad mate helpfully revived me, with 3 Marauders and 2 Ravagers right next to me. I went down, they revived me, this went on, you get the idea. None of them thought of killing the enemies first then reviving me.

 

Right afterwards, the sole remark came over the comms: "Marksmad_N7, you SUCK."

^^ This will me make me rage more than anything about a pugs behavior. I've watched a pug try to revive a team mate once with 2 phantoms basically right on top of him on a w11 and barely had time to rocket them before they both got gutted

It was hilarious when he didn't even manage to LAND a melee before he was sync killed.

 

For his first few games to get used to it, we played Bronze, so I just soloed the wave myself after he died at the start.

I tend to kill lots of Banshees with melee attacks... when I play Shadow. Needs a bit of timing, you want to make sure that your attack is what kills her. ^^

This is not terribly believable I'm afraid - Marksmad_N7 is your Origin account... the only people that talk in PuGs on PC are Russians!

Glacier/Geth/Platinum with Ark171 and 2 random pugs.  Half of my missiles were Made in China, and every objective was Priority Targets.  During the Wave 10 Priority Targets, one pug of course died immediately.  I informed Ark that I was out of missiles, he replied that he had 1 left.  The remaining pug went down, then got on his mic.

 

Pug:  "Don't bother getting me up, I'm just gonna let myself bleed out.  I don't do hardly any damage, and I'm no help to you."

 

Ark:  "Do you have any gels?"

 

Pug:  "All I have left are a bunch of missiles."

Even better when you were about to use a missile and it blows up in your face because someone ran in front of you. 

 

I've missiles blocked by friendly turrets.   Sometimes it would blow up a husk that ran past rather than the big bosses behind it.

This brings back memories. The shock of two atlas being active on the map at the same time . I already used 1 of my 2 missiles, I don't have enough to take out two of them
