For my last game of the night, I dropped into a wave 3 GIP where 2 people were having a very heated argument about how the asari and quarians have " hidden " weapon bonuses for their races weapons.......1 guy sounded exactly like danny mcbride and the other was a british guy...some of my favorite snips include " just because you don't see the bonus in their evolution tree, doesn't mean that they aren't there " and  " the disciple does more damage when I use it with the huntress than anything else, so I know I'm right"  ....by wave 9 it turned into every usual argument...lots of cussing each other out and insulting their parental units.....you gotta love them co-op missions.

Asari Huntresses and Valkyries will flay you with their biotics if you said such a thing.

Just had another  " team captain "  barking out orders to teammates  in my own damn lobby......... turned on my mic and I repeatedly kept saying: 

 

I even went as far as to google archer soundboards....my favorite snips were when he kept telling the QMI to use his arc nades and only snipe un-shielded enemies...I would hit the archer " phrasing " button.....he would not stop telling other people what to do so then I proceeded to bombard him with as many of them as i could find until he finally gave in, then shut up....2 kick votes were already on him before I made it back to the lobby.

When you're playing the game and all of a sudden angry captain starts to rage on the mic.

 

 

Um. Yesterday I asked the annoying captain to drink a nice cup of stfu latte. He took my advice.

guy #1  Cuz of the subtitles...I want to watch a movie...not have to read at the same time.

 

guy #2;  Well, what if the audio is in english?

 

guy#1. No. cuz thats the same thing. the words are still at the bottom of the screen and I have to look at them plus hear all their accents.

 

guy#2: But what if there was the option to turn off the subtitles?

                             it was just an awkward silence after that ....pretty much the rest of the match. Occasionally, I would hear somebody in the background of one of their mics talking.

Nightman; wow, how did those guys manage to play the game and talk at the same time? And, oh no, have they noticed there may be some texts popping on the screen if teammate goes down and there is also a voiceover guy speaking - did that confuse them, too?  LOL at so many of your stories I read today, thanks!

 

- Growing in a country where every foreign movie/tv show/doc/everything is always subtitled into Finnish (although kids movies often get the voiceover versions, too, naturally) - and gasp, sometimes in movie theaters, they may also have FInnish and Swedish subs at the bottom!

 

And you really do have to start recording this stuff, it's priceless. I don't know whether to commiserate with or congratulate you on constantly running into these kinds of players.

joined a GIP (Gold, Hydra, Collectors) ... was rather messy in general. Only one competent player (ok, was a TGI), me in the middle with a kit I don't like and 2 noobs - but we all tried...

 

Objective wave 10 I think - Pizza. I tried to reach the second one, even got it shortly but bled out soon after (I blame my kit ^^) ... so the 2nd Pizza waited and waited to be delivered, only one noob and the TGI were alive...

Finally the TGI showed mercy and picked up the Pizza

 

Noob #1: you can't run with the Pizza (after the TGI sort of messed up and jetted forward, losing the pizza)

 

TGI: picked up the Pizza again, didn't mess up and RAN to the delivery zone

 

Noob #1: WHAT THE F**K!!!!!!!!

Perhaps they thought if you don't use consumables, you get more credits or some s***. With all the numerous urban legends that float around about this game, who the hell knows what they were thinking.

It wasn't what was said in-game...as to what was said in a msg I got after a match, it read... " You are a cheating sum mum ma beach for hacking to get a fully automatic Mantis, rot in hell you homer-sexual"   <---- is the nice version...also..  (  <-------is on xbox, I was using the FQI specd for full weapon damage with all the appropriate amps  w Mantis w drill rounds and reload cancelling vs geth on white...where I nailed a few units at the same time, then re-load cancelled again to where on the kill feed...you would see my name + mantis kills x's five....several times...so I kinda understand their gripe with me.............but, my entire stance on the encounter is

Haha - It's so serious that it's undeniably funny. I want to be that good , one day - that pugs say such colourful things bc they cant belief their eyeballs. ( wish #103 ticked)

Then there were the two or three pugs in a row who abandoned their own games mid match. Then there was the guy with 400k cp who left when I told him ap ammo doesn't work on the adas. C'mon pugs step your game up.

... I always wanted to know about those hidden weapon advantages that are not documented. Bet that it gives them some heavy advantage. With which you can make more millions of credits.
