When it was a fantastic series, before it got ruined by EA and bad writing.
Not bad writing imho, just a strange outcome for the series. (as is NO outcome?)

I'm going to miss seeing my decisions all come together in an ending that really reflected my play style and made total sense.
Yeah it's April 1st
Lol I know right.
I agree though, I'm going to miss everything, except the ending. I know ME isn't ending but these characters probably are, and that's what I'll miss.

Feeling the progression of having a custom-made character who closely resembles yourself in his/her actions, and importing him to the sequels. Other games have started doing this save-import thing but i think it will be a while before we see a game doing it in a robust manner like Bioware did with the ME Trilogy.
I think that's the sole reason why i grew so attached to this franchise.
Back in the silver and golden ages of CRPG games that was par for the course. Take the Wizardry series, 7 games that you can import your party through, make HUGE decisions that completely change the plots of the later games, opening up some areas and closing off others. I don't think we will see the like of those games again. Mass Effect was a nice salute to those games of yore.

what exactly is EA at fault for?
maybe EA shoulda done more with ME3 and bioware shoulda done less.

Crew and story, simple as that. Mass effect isn't the same without shep, garrus and the reapers
Agreed, crew and story is what I'll miss the most. It's been like a 6 year long friendship with each of the characters. I know I can keep replaying the game over and over but it doesn't feel quite the same.
We can only hope the next ME will have characters and story as captivating as the trilogy was.

Many of the characters suffered from multiple writer syndrome. Can't really say if it's EA or Bioware at fault for that.

The best way to make hotkeys in the xbox was in Operation Flashpoint. It is a wheel like menu, that each pad leads to a final menu with 3 choices. If you can memorize all 12 options you can fly. Never seen something like that besides in Operation Flashpoint.
I want an attack, right, up. Fast quick, and once you memorize them they are nearly seemless. Not exactly like hotkeys but as close as consoles will ever get to them.
