nothing I plan on replaying many time in the future and there is nothing saying the old crew wont make an appearance in a new Mass Effect game (well not yet anyway)

Good point.  I do hope some of these characters might be brought back even though Shepard won't be.  Would give the next ME some familiarity other than the setting.

Agreed, my thoughts exactly.  It's hard to see the series end, but I guess it had to sometime.

I will miss the fact that I actually genuinely cared about the setting, the characters and the outcome, not many games can achieve that level of investment from me.

What I'll miss most was when the fanbase was fun and kind, not full of prejudice and hate.

Other than that, won't miss anything from the trilogy until the next ME games arrive, and see what's new and such.

I imagine the fanbase was mostly fun and kind before the ending, and not after?  I wasn't around back then so I wouldn't know.

I agree.  That's how I feel about the trilogy as well.  I don't think after any other game did I get an empty feeling after the ending, not because of the ending, but because of it being over with these characters.

The characters- Mostly, Garrus, Miri, Tali, Wrex and Grunt. But I'll miss them all. ALL.

The Normandy- it's been Shep and my home for quite awhile. Awesome ship.

Firstly I miss playing ME for the first time, omg how awesome that feeling was. I didn't know anything about the ME universe, and to explore it all was a godly experience. Secondly I'll miss the friendship I've developed with these guys over the three games. It's a special feeling, even if it can't compare to my closest real life friends, it feels like I know the chars in ME better than most of my FB friends. I can of course always replay the series, but it will of course never be like the first time. I would like to purchase the flashy thing the guys in men in black has to reset my ME memories so I can play it like the first time again... Hmmm how often can I do that without damaging my brain ? :D

My favorite type of TV show is the episodic crime dramedy. The Mentalist, Castle, etc. These shows are driven predominantly by the eccentric lead character by giving him or her a new story each episode (e.g episodic) and thus a new situation by which to be characterized. In the background is typically an overarching plot that occasionally crops up now and again, but never too often.

My ideal RPG would be structured similarly, because I feel like this structure allows us to get to know characters better than any other. Mass Effect came pretty close, with side missions being regular episodes and main missions being the overarching plot. Since it spanned three games, it also had a key component of the structure: time. TV shows can run for so long that movies and (most games) can't compete.

So I'll miss that the most. If DA3 or ME4 doesn't kick off a new trilogy where you keep the same character, then it will still be fun, but it won't affect me like ME1-3 because it simply won't have the time to.

Everything, but the characters and my interaction with them mostly. I know that I can still revisit them whenever I want, but it's not the same as meeting them for the first time, or revisiting them for the first time again in ME2 and ME3. Now that it's finally over...I don't know what to say really. Damn glad I bought Citadel though. worth every penny.

What do i miss the most....

If you put aside the obvious answer   of  new Ashley and Miranda content..

Enthusiasm

I had for the IP prior to ME3,

Hope

I that I thought this could be the greatest Trilogy of all time ,

The anticipation of having both Ashley and Miranda on my squad at the same time ( Miranda is the only one that could replace Tali  on my squad )

Replayability

While i still may play ME1 and ME2 again and Parts Of ME3 , due to the multiple ways I feel M3 has completely failed experience resonates though the entire series and my enjoyment of it has forever been tarnished its not the same as it was before

Everything.

Besides from one part of the trilogy (you guys know which part I'm talking about) there was nothing I wasn't excited to do.

That's how I feel too.  I never wanted to do the ending because I knew it was the end of everything.  I just play the Citadel DLC now before it since I already know what the ending is like.

Think I'll miss the characters more than anything.  Bioware did a pretty good job with making the characters feel real, they felt like friends and family.
